And Allah has placed to the earth robust mountains so that you would not be shaken and rivers and paths so that you would find your way.
Tafsir
Allah (swt) also proves His existence with knowledge in this verse. He says, "I have placed fixed mountains on the earth so that you may not be shaken. The bottoms of the mountains are water reservoirs. In this respect, mountains are like pieces of land floating on these waters. As the earth rotates around its axis, it is thrown about by centrifugal force. In order to prevent it from shaking those above it, the earth is saved from spinning randomly by the water under the mountains. Changes to the earth do not affect the earth. Because of this swing, the earth continues to spin without shaking those on it.
He also created rivers for us to find a way, and the weakest points of the earth are the tops of the mountains. The waters gushing from the tops of these mountains flow between the mountains and form streams, rivers and streams. These rivers and streams flow into seas or lakes. They provide life to the valleys and plains where they pass. People gather in the places where these rivers flow in order to benefit from the water and enjoy abundant blessings. In places where rivers pass, people meeting each other, finding each other, gives people a different strength.

Allah Almighty, creating the mountains as the pegs of the earth — beneath the mountains there are water reservoirs. Water reservoirs. With the weight of the mountains and the water reservoirs, when the earth turns around its own axis, against the centrifugal force it stabilizes the world.
