Some of you worship idols, abandoning Allah. Yet, those idols cannot create anything, and they themselves are created.
Tafsir
Allah is the only one who has the power to create. No creature other than Him can create even a particle. So when man leaves Allah, the Creator of himself and the universe, and shapes objects created by Allah with his own hands, makes idols, and associates partners with Allah, are they lost? Allah created the objects of worship. So they cannot create anything, nor do they have any right over what has been created. In that case, can anything be expected from them. And the grace is only from Allah.
What is said in the video
(?) Surah An-Nahl, verse 20. The idols they worship instead of Allah cannot create anything. Allah Almighty addresses the idolaters, the (?) and those who worship other than Allah. The idols they worship instead of Allah cannot create anything. Because they themselves are created. Now what does this last word mean to you? Because they themselves are created. There is one single essential word here. An essential word. Created, Hodja. The created has no power to create, Hodja. How's that? What is created has no power of creation. Yes. This part is because the created have no power to create. Because Allah Almighty has closed that power of creation to people.
Creating belongs to Allah alone. In this case, look: because they themselves are created. So since the created has no (?) to create, what have you gone chasing after, He says. What have you gone chasing after? The idols they worship instead of Allah cannot create anything. Yes. What does He say? Because they themselves are created. So if, besides Allah Almighty who created these worlds, there had been another god — look what He says in the verse: One would take what he created, the other would take what he created, and the worlds would fall into ruin, He says. So these worlds have a single Creator.
That is Allah. Apart from Allah, no one is capable of creating anything, and they themselves are created creatures of Allah. Yes. The only one with the power to create is Allah. Apart from Him, no created being can create even a (?). In this case, man abandons Allah, who created him and the universe. He shapes with his hands the objects Allah created. He makes idols. When they ascribe partners to Allah, they end up in loss. Loss. Allah also created the objects that are worshipped. So these can neither create anything nor have any rights over what is created. In this case, can anything be expected from them?
Bounty comes only from Allah. Yes.
Only Allah is the one who bestows, and the sole absolute owner and sovereign of these worlds is Allah Almighty. It is also Allah who guarantees the sustenance of His creatures. Those hostile to Allah — (?) according to the verse, those hostile to Allah Almighty are hostile to their own nafs as well. Their own nafs. One is not as hostile to anyone as one is to it. Because if a person abandons Allah, turns his back on Allah, and toward the lord he awaited in his own imagination, (?), nurtures love, he exposes himself to the eternal fire of Hell, such that even if the two worlds came together, they could not do to him what he does to himself.
What he does to himself, the two worlds could not do even if they came together. Yes.
