Your God is the One and Only God - Allah. But those who don’t believe in the Hereafter, their hearts are in denial and they are the ones who are arrogant.
Tafsir
There is only one Allah, our Lord, who created the universe and there is no other Allah but Him. All believing and faithful people believe in Allah without any doubt and without associating partners with Him. Allah, who is neither begotten nor begotten, who is eternal and everlasting. All created beings belong to Allah. No creature has any right over them. This is how believers believe, and they recognize Allah as the Creator and their own selves as incapable. They become one in the face of Allah's greatness and worship Allah, the One.
But because the hearts of those who do not believe in the Hereafter are disbelievers, they themselves are full of pride and arrogance. In this state they are boastful. Forgetting that they were created from mere water, they become openly rebellious against Allah. They ignore their helplessness. They rebel against Allah when they are incapable of anything. These are the guilty. And this is the place of the evil mattress.
What is said in the video
Surah An-Nahl, verse 22. Surah An-Nahl, verse 22: Your god is one single God. La ilahe illallah. There is no god but Him. Look how beautifully it says it. Yes, how beautifully the verses confirm one another. But those who do not believe in the hereafter — their hearts are denying, and they themselves are arrogant. Who are they? Who are they? Non-Muslims. All of them? All. All. What are you basing this on, Hodja? They are lying disbelievers, it says. The verse says it. I'm not saying it. What does it say? They are lying disbelievers. I used to say that among them there is not a single one who tells the truth.
When knowledge began to come with spiritual states, by Allah, not one of them had told the truth. Where? There, at the address Elestü bi Rabbiküm, by denying Allah they became lying disbelievers. All of them are liars. Their hearts, it says, are scattered and restless. Why? Because in a heart where Allah is not, they cannot find peace. Yes. These are themselves lying disbelievers.
And their hearts are denying — what does He decree? Denying, and they themselves are arrogant. Paradise, he says, (?) is my right, he says. I have wealth, he says, I have property, I have children, I have (?), he says.
He forgets this verse. Or do you own from your world even as much as the sprout of a seed? If that were so, nothing of your world would be given to you, it says. In my time of ignorance, I mean, we were growing up and didn't know yet — there's a car, there's a house, there's a house — why does Allah Almighty say this, we used to say. Or do you own, from the world, a seed, the seed of a sprout? That is, are you able to create it? If you created it, you own it. If you created it, you own it. What is creating? If you brought it into being from nothing, you own it. If that were so, it says, you would be in a position to meet your own needs too.
And I, it says, would give you nothing of My world, it says. That is what it says. We too gave you nothing of Our world, it says. So, the heavens and the earth and what is between them (?) the remembrance of their Lord — according to the verse, if each one remembers its Lord — Allah Almighty has taken out the patent — if He already makes these materials, living and lifeless, proclaim that there is no god but Him, then we are not owners of anything in this world, and we possess nothing. So we are trustees. We are trustees of what our Lord has given. Yes.
Every soul shall taste death, and the inheritance of the heavens and the earth will remain to Allah, it says. So Allah created it, its owner (?) is Allah, and it will remain to Allah again. O man! With what will you go to the hereafter? With what? Will you go with the goods of the world? With the good deeds and sins you did in the world, with those loads — in answer to the verse: Did you think you would die without proving what kind of people you are? — with the actual deeds you did, you will go with the reward and sin you earned.
Our God is one single God. But those who do not believe in the hereafter, it says — their hearts are denying, and they themselves are arrogant. Our Lord, who created the universe and besides whom there is no god, is one single Allah. All who believe and have faith, without doubt and without ascribing partners to Allah, believe and have faith. That Allah, who neither begets nor is begotten. Self-subsisting, everlasting from pre-eternity to post-eternity. He is the First and the Last, the Manifest and the Hidden.
All created beings belong to Allah. No created being has any right over these created things. We have no right at all. All belongs to Allah. Allah created. What Allah created, before us, to secure our livelihood, and while securing our livelihood, our approach to these things, our dealings, our trade, our desire for the world, whether or not we know what our Lord has bestowed on us, our deeds — for us to receive reward and sin, they are sufficient. We are tested with this property our Lord has set before us. Yes.
Those who believe, believe like this. Allah as the Creator. Their nafs they know as helpless. One day Allah Almighty asks Prophet David: O David, how do you know Me? Your Essence as the Creator, and my nafs I know in helplessness, he says. Now you have known Me, He says. And here, too, we put the words of Prophet David. Those who believe, believe like this. Allah as the Creator, their nafs they know as helpless. Before Allah's (?) they become one body. They worship the One Allah. Look, these are meaningful. What are we saying? Before Allah's (?) they become one body. Islam is brotherhood, it says. If they are brothers, they are like a limb, I mean, like limbs, these people.
A believer's state and a believer's state (?) — his faith has not reached perfection, it says. Yes. However, since the hearts of those who do not believe in the hereafter are denying, they themselves are in pride and arrogance, and in this state they are boastful people. Forgetting that their creation is from a lowly drop of sperm, they openly, plainly turn rebellious against Allah. E ve lem yera'l-insânu ennâ halaknâhu min nutfetin fe izâ huve hasîmun mubîn. They, it says — We created from a lowly, (?) drop, it says. Ve darabe lenâ meselen ve nesiye halkahû, kâle men yuhyi'l-izâme ve hiye ramîm.
He forgets his creation and even sets forth a likeness for Allah. O man! Magnified thousands of times under a microscope, within a single particle (?) — the possessor of this might and power, Allah, you forgot; today, openly and plainly, they turned rebellious against Him. What are we saying? Forgetting that their creation is from a lowly drop of sperm, they openly, plainly turn rebellious against Allah. They ignore their helplessness. While they have power over nothing, they rebel against Allah. These are the guilty ones. That evil resting place, the evil place — they are the guilty. That evil resting place is theirs too.
Yes. Allah Almighty, in the verses, uses certain words for Hell. What an evil place of return, He says, a resting place, that is, a bed. What an evil place it is. And there are tortures there tied to fires and (?); it is such a place. With many things, with words, He tries to keep people away from there. To keep them away. But man, as if longing for that fire, rushes toward it at full speed with the desire of his own nafs. In the world, a person loves either his mother or his father or someone dear to him. When he is separated from them, he longs for them, yearns, and waits to be reunited. And when they are reunited, he weeps because he is reunited, out of (?).
If a person comes to this feeling through a (?) he feels toward another person, if he does not have these feelings toward Allah who created him, that Paradise Allah has prepared for us — how could he (?) it?
Yes. But instead of longing for his own Creator with such a feeling, man, longing for the place of Allah's wrath, toward it with all his might strives.
