And Allah Said: “Do not adopt two deities. I, Allah is the One and Only God. Thus, fear only Allah (Me)!”
Tafsir
Allah (swt) created human beings as a part of His Essence. He revealed to mankind through Prophets and Books that there is no other God but Himself. He wanted our Lord, who is one, to be known by humanity in His will by serving Allah alone.
So do not take other gods along with Allah. All these worlds and all that exists have been created by Allah, the only One. Is this Allah to be left, and the creatures of Allah to be set up as partners to Allah?
So fear Allah alone. Because Allah, the Owner of all creation, will surely hold people to account for what they have done on the Day of Reckoning, which is the inevitable end.
What is said in the video
In verse 51 of the Surah, Allah Almighty says: Allah said, do not take two gods; He is only one God. So fear Me alone, He says. Yes, how beautifully He says it.
What does Allah Almighty say? Bismillahirrahmanirrahim. We with those of the children of Adam who would appear in their offspring made a covenant, and said 'your Lord' (?), He says. So all our spirits created in the realm of lahut were bound by covenant by our Lord, and what man took, his wish and desire, was for him as destiny written. In this case, He who created these worlds and, as Lord — Lord means Creator anyway — as Lord. Since there is no other Lord, this Allah who, by His Essence, subsists, and who all these created worlds by His Essence created, besides whom there is no god, our Lord who stands for tawhid, says to me: do not associate partners, do not associate a second god as a partner with Me, do not hold idols as My partners, the servants I created do not hold equal to Me, He says.
This is among the greatest sins. Who? Whoever takes a god other than Allah, as long as he does not repent, if he goes to the hereafter like this, his place is eternal hell. And to the Muslims He says exactly this. To the Muslims, that is, to the believers, in verse 24 of Surah Al-Baqarah: beware of that fire whose fuel is fire and people, which is prepared for the disbelievers. It is prepared for the disbelievers. Whose fuel is fire and people, it says. Beware of that fire of hell, which is prepared for the disbelievers. So we say: O man, by uttering one word of tawhid — through your being favoured with so many of your Lord's blessings — that for that light of tawhid, you, (?), He will not burn in the fire of hell but in some (?) places will punish you, and that out of His mercy He shows us so much love — if we as humans, before such a Creator, our Lord, feel no shame and step outside His command in the verses, would we, in terms of being human, have any connection, near or far?
What does Allah Almighty say? They are like the four-legged ones roaming the earth. Indeed, in their course they are even more astray. So, by the (?) and (?) world of this passing realm deceived, like the pretty flower that the zaqqum tree of the world has opened, toward the flower blooming in its swamp, if you go, if you go toward that swamp, there you perish, you are gone.
If you seek salvation, if you seek honour and dignity, Allah Almighty, in a verse, says honour and dignity are with Allah. Whoever is with Allah attains that honour and dignity. Yes, Allah said: do not take two gods. He is only one God. So fear Me alone, He says. Allah Almighty created humans as a part of His Essence. That there is no god other than Himself, He has, through prophets and books, to people made known. By serving Allah alone, He wanted our one and only Lord to be, by people, known within their own will. So do not take other gods along with Allah. All these worlds and all existence were created by the one Allah.
Yet this Allah is abandoned, and what Allah created are set up as partners to Allah. So fear Allah alone. Because Allah, the owner of all these created things, will, for what people have done, surely call them to account in His presence, at that reckoning, an inevitable end. Yes. In this great world man thinks himself left on his own. Well, true. No one interferes. His freedom is in his hands. But if only he knew that he is under such a yoke that, had he felt that yoke on his neck, he would walk the earth bent double and grow a hump. 'Wherever you go, whether to the seventh depth of the earth or to the highest (?) of the heavens, We will find you there,' according to that verse Allah Almighty gives us a witness from ourselves at our side, a witness that never leaves us.
What is that witness? Our bodies. They will bear witness about us. So we say: O man, becoming a servant to other than Allah and mortgaging your covenant to another, do not follow those two-legged taghuts. Yes.
