Translation
Then, when Allah alleviates the harm from you, some of you immediately associate partners with their Lord.
Tafsir
Allah (swt) gives people some troubles or calamities in order to keep them witnesses in the realm of property. In the face of these afflictions, people immediately turn to their Lord and beg and plead with Him to remove their distress. Since Allah is compassionate and merciful to His servants and will make people witnesses to what they do, He removes the afflictions from them. He opens doors on them from unknown directions.
But people who have attained comfort quickly forget the troubles they have suffered. They again deify their nafs and follow it. They continue to associate partners with Allah. It is as if these people were not the ones who suffered calamity and begged Allah. Such people are ungrateful people because it is in their nature to deny Allah and disbelieve in the Hereafter. They eat and drink Allah's blessings, but they are too proud to thank Allah even once.
What is said in the video
Then, when He removes that harm from you, a group among you at once associate partners with their Lord, it says. In fact, look how well we put it in the opening of the verse above. We say: the objects that they, (?) with their hands, associate as partners with Allah are also beings that Allah created. Would anyone with reason worship Allah's creations and abandon Allah? Indeed, when people fall into hardship, they forget the partners they associate with Allah and ask of Allah alone. When Allah meets people's needs and removes their troubles, you see that some people have returned to their old error and again turned their faces away from their Lord.
Yes. Verse 54 of Surah An-Nahl, too, proves exactly what we said very well. It says: Then, when He removes that harm from you, a group among you at once associate partners with their Lord, it says. Yes.
In the world of mulk, to make people witnesses over themselves, Allah Almighty gives some hardships or calamities. Facing these calamities, people immediately turn to their Lord, plead and implore, and pray to Allah for their troubles to be removed. Because Allah is compassionate and merciful toward His servants, people, for what they have done, (?), He lifts the calamities from them and opens His doors to them from unknown directions. That is, He opens the doors of blessing. Yes.
Now, yes, the broadcast here continues on. Our broadcast continues.
But people who find relief very quickly forget the hardships they suffered. Again they deify their nafs and follow it. And they keep associating partners with Allah. As if these were not the people who suffered calamity and opened their palms to Allah, pleading. Since denial of Allah and disbelief in the hereafter lie in the nature of such people, these people are ungrateful people. They eat and drink the blessings Allah gives, but thanking Allah even once their pride will not allow.
