Translation

They attribute things they don’t like to Allah. And their tongues assert the lie that the best end belongs to them. Verily, for them there is only hell and they will be left (in the fire).

Tafsir

They attribute to Allah what they themselves do not like. That is, they do not want daughters, so they bury them alive in the ground. These people, who are not sorry for what they have done and whose consciences do not ache, are ashamed of their daughters, so they say that they are the daughters of Allah. They speak with pride and arrogance, boasting of their worldly possessions, that they have the best lives and the best results. In fact, they are unaware of themselves, and everything they say is a lie, a falsehood, and baseless words. How beautifully their tongues, which make them look like stars and tell them that they will be worthy of the best positions, lie and decide for Allah. With these lies, they increase their disbelief and prepare their destruction. With the lies told by their tongues, they show examples of their lies. How well they prove what kind of people they are.

(Verily, for them there is only fire (they will be abandoned to it). When they see the truth in the Hereafter, they will realize that they are also liars by the truths they encounter in the Hereafter. When they see that what they say is nothing alike, they will know that they are liars. They will not only be liars. They will realize that they have spoken in vain and that they are ingrates who have turned their backs on Allah by boasting of the wealth and property that Allah has given them. And woe to them when they realize that they were disbelievers, mocking Allah's Messengers. These are the Fire. They will be abandoned to eternal fire.

The meaning of the abandoned is that they will remain in the Fire forever. No one will take care of them and they will be deprived of Allah's mercy. They will live with the agony of fire as companions of fire in the life of an eternal and everlasting life. May Allah protect us from such a torment.

What is said in the video

We left off at verse 62 of Surah An-Nahl.

They attribute to Allah what they themselves dislike. And their tongues, which claim that the best outcome is theirs, give an example of the lie. Without doubt, for them there is only the Fire, and they will be abandoned to the Fire. Now if we open up the verse a little: they attribute to Allah things that they themselves dislike. Here Allah Almighty wants to say this.

The polytheists attributed daughters to Allah. And the sons, they said, were theirs, from them. Upon this, Allah Almighty says: so the daughters are Allah's, He says, and the sons, He says, are yours? If that is so, He says, it is a most unfair division, He says. Yes. Our Lord here answers them in the finest way, in another verse, in this way. And their tongues, which claim that the best outcome is theirs, give an example of the lie. That is, here too He is saying this. We have wealth and property. We have children and worship. If there is a Paradise, Paradise is ours, they say. Not yours, they say.

Yes. And in the Hereafter, if there is such a place, they say, its finest places are reserved for us, they say. In that case, Allah Almighty says this.

Their tongues, their tongues which claim the best outcome is theirs, and they give an example of the lie, He says. Without doubt, for them there is only the Fire. That is, the place of those who deny Allah and His Messenger is eternal Hell, being exposed to its eternal punishment. And they will be abandoned to the Fire. They attribute to Allah what they themselves dislike. That is, since they do not want daughters, they bury them alive in the ground. These people, who feel no sorrow for what they do and whose conscience does not ache, because they are ashamed of their daughters, also call the daughters Allah's daughters.

That the best lives and the best outcome are theirs, with pride and arrogance, they speak, boasting of their worldly wealth. In fact, without their knowing, every word they say is a lie, words that will never, ever come true, and groundless words. For what will a person who does not know the truth say? He will speak falsely, empty (?). Yes.

Their tongues, which (?) claim that they will be worthy of fine ranks, by telling such fine lies, decide in place of Allah. As we said a moment ago: if there is a Paradise, or if in the Hereafter there is a good life, it is reserved for us. We have many children and dependents, we have much wealth and property. Saying it is our right, without any proof in their hands, deciding by themselves, Allah's — though they have turned their backs on Allah, people who do not know Allah lay claim to the Paradise Allah has prepared for His most distinguished servants in this way.

With these lies they increase their unbelief and prepare their own destruction. In this way, in Allah's religion, they will of course increase their unbelief. With the lies their tongues tell, they display examples of their lies. How well they prove in this case what kind of people they are.

Without doubt, for them there is only the Fire. For Allah Almighty has this fire of Hell for non-Muslims prepared. Without doubt, for them there is only the Fire. They will be abandoned to the Fire. When they see the truth in the Hereafter, that they are liars, through the truths they encounter in the Hereafter, they will understand. They will understand, but still, still they will wait for the Lord of their own imagination. They will wait for the Lord of their own imagination, and in that case these people, since they cannot see the Lord of their imagination, in a crucible of waiting, there in Hell, since they cannot get out of this circle, will (?) in the eternal life of Hell and remain. And Allah Almighty says in His verse too: they will not see their Lord. With this verse, that is: there is no god other than Allah, for them to see the Lord they imagined.

They will not remain merely as liars. That they spoke (?), and that, boasting of the wealth and property Allah gave, they were ingrates who turned their backs on Allah — this they will realize. Moreover, when they realize that, mocking Allah's prophets, they were deniers, woe to them; the fire is their (?). They will be abandoned to the eternal Fire. Such a question may come to your mind.

There, after seeing this truth, will their regret not be of any use?

Allah Almighty did not create people free of error anyway. Some see the truth in this world, and some see the truth after seeing the punishment in the Fire in the Hereafter — if you say this: in (?) I have already explained it, but here, with a little more explanation, explanation, we can enlighten you better. When we were created in the world of souls, we made a covenant with Allah Almighty; when He said, I am your Lord, everyone had the aim of their desires and deeds written down for themselves. Scripts were written there. We were shaped as characters. Our aims, our desires and deeds were given to us as destiny.

In that case, even though they see the fire in the Hereafter, these people, in the Hereafter, will still wait for the Lord of their own imagination, and that Lord of their imagination will come. Together with that Lord of theirs, on the one who exposed them to the fire — well, let's say on that being, because he does not know Him as Allah, they will describe Him this way. They will take revenge on that being. In this disposition, the eternal fire of Hell and eternal Hell become their home.

Being abandoned to the eternal Fire means they will remain in that fire forever. No one will be able to take this up. That is, no one will look after them. It means they will be deprived of Allah's attribute of mercy, Rahim. In the living of an eternal and endless life, with the fire as companion, with the torment of the fire they will live. May Allah protect us, all of us, from such a punishment.
