An-Nahl 68: Your Lord has inspired the bee, (Ordering): “Make houses (hives) in mountains, trees and in what they construct.”

Translation

Your Lord has inspired the bee, (Ordering): “Make houses (hives) in mountains, trees and in what they construct.”

Tafsir

Allah (swt) has programmed His creatures for the tasks they are to perform. In this respect, every created creature knows the task it is to perform. For example, all creatures are programmed, such as animals giving birth on their own or performing their duties according to the work for which they were created. Since the honey bee is also programmed for the work it is to do, the honey bee was created and its task was introduced to it with a program in the form of how to make honey. In this respect, the bee gives an example of a family in building its house, preparing its hive and obeying its head, that is, obeying the bee master.

Surah An-Nahl, verse 68, we have reached it. This time Allah Almighty, from another verse, gives an example. Your Lord inspired the honey bee: make for yourselves houses, hives in the mountains or the trees and trellises, He says.

Look at the honeycombs of the honey bee, so orderly a comb, so orderly angled, and a person, in that comb, (?), the (?) where the bee rests, when (?) even (?).

And to this day nobody knows how the bee makes honey.

The creatures Allah Almighty created, for the tasks they will do, have been programmed. Therefore every created living being knows the duty it will perform.
