Translation

When you make an agreement, fulfill Allah’s covenant and do not annul your oaths after making Allah a witness upon yourselves and strengthening (your oaths).

Tafsir

When people make a transaction or a covenant with one another, they swear by Allah. So when people swear by Allah and take Allah as a witness between them, let them fulfill their oaths. Let them be true to their word.

And do not break your oaths with unreasonable things while Allah is a witness between them, and be faithful to your promises.

There is only one way to break a vow. You have sworn for something that will not happen. Or what you have sworn will manifest against people. In order to turn it into good, you can break your vow. In return, you can give alimony for the sake of Allah that will provide a poor person with a daily ration. Therefore, Allah is well aware of people's intentions and what they will do.

What is said in the video

Surah An-Nahl, verse 91. When you make an agreement, fulfill Allah's covenant, and after confirming them by taking Allah as witness over you, do not break your oaths. Surely Allah knows well what you will do, it says.

When people make an agreement with one another over a trade or a promise, they swear by Allah. So when people, with their oaths by Allah, take Allah as witness between them, let them fulfill their oaths. Let them be faithful to their word. While Allah is witness between you, do not break your oaths for unreasonable things; be faithful to the promises you give, it says.

An oath can be broken only in one way. You have sworn an oath for something that should not be. Or what you swore will turn out against people. To turn this into good, you may break your oath. And in return, a provision that will feed a poor person and provide his daily (?) is given for the sake of Allah's pleasure. In this respect, Allah is the One who knows people's intentions and what they will do very well, it says. Yes.
