Translation

(The worldly possessions) with you are exhaustible but that which is on Allah’s side is eternal. Verily, We will give the best of returns to those who show patience.

Tafsir

The meaning of this verse is that what is with you (worldly wealth) will be exhausted; People can lose what they have earned. They can lose what they have by an earthquake, a fire, or by going bankrupt in a trade. The real meaning here is that according to the verse (all souls will taste death), people will surely die and leave what they have earned in the world in the world. According to the verse (The inheritance of the heavens and the earth belongs to Allah), since all beings belong to Allah, the blessings of the world given to people are a trust. Those who use them well, spend them in the way of Allah, spend them on orphans, the poor, the destitute, the orphaned, the orphans, the needy, and those who spend them in the way of Allah, these are the people who transfer their wealth to the Hereafter. This is the wealth that will be permanent and lasting in the sight of Allah. These are the ones who will earn Allah's pleasure and enjoy a life of endless life and sovereignty in the Hereafter, in the land of Paradise.

Those who are patient, those who consent to what comes from Allah, those who are patient for the sake of Allah, this is a very beautiful trait. If we do not lament that we do not have worldly goods, if we are content with the little or much that Allah gives, if we do not rebel against Allah in our times of poverty and hardship, if we know that this world is temporary and the Hereafter is permanent, and if we continue to earn Allah's consent for the blessings in the Hereafter, these good deeds of ours will not be wasted in the sight of Allah. Allah (swt) will give us much better rewards in return for our good behavior. People will wish that they had endured a little more hardship in the world so that they could enjoy the blessings of Allah (swt). The troubles they have suffered in the world will disappear from their eyes, and Allah will give to all those who believe in Allah and have faith in Him, until Allah (swt) is pleased. It is in reference to this that Allah says, "The abode of the Hereafter is better and Allah will reward you with the best of what you have done.

What is said in the video

We have come to Surah An-Nahl, verse 96.

The worldly goods you have will run out. True. They run out. Don't people go bankrupt? They do. But what is with Allah is everlasting.

Now here, when it says, the worldly goods you have will run out, it is not only those who go bankrupt.

If we go deeper into its (?) here: at the Doomsday, after the Doomsday, the world scatters and breaks apart, in the hereafter comes together again, and finally is rolled up like an old rag and thrown into Hell — there, the worldly goods are finished. The blessings we lived on earth have come to an end. When He says what is with Allah does not end — when we pass on to the hereafter, since Paradise and Hell are everlasting, as long as we are with Allah, we too, with the everlasting, with Allah's creations, live amid eternal blessings.

Do you see the meaning of the verse? How beautiful. What does it say? Look now. The worldly goods you have will run out. But what is with Allah is everlasting, it says. So the hereafter is everlasting. And of the world, it says this place will end. Surely We will give those who are patient their reward by the best of what they used to do, it says.

Who acts patiently? We will act patiently: people in want, (?) to Allah, (?), those who are patient according to the verse that says so; also those who become rich and could commit every kind of evil, but are patient and keep away from evil for Allah's sake — people; not only for the poor, but in general too: those who are patient, those who master their nafs, those who are patient and are governed by Allah's verses, by the Sharia rulings — what does He say to them? We will give them their reward by the best of what they used to do, He says.

Yes. The worldly goods you have will run out. We are writing a bit deeper here. The worldly goods you have will run out. What is meant by this verse: people can lose what they have earned. Through an earthquake, a fire, or going bankrupt in trade, what they hold they can lose. The true meaning here: according to the verse "every soul shall taste death", people will surely die, and leave what they earned in the world behind in the world. The inheritance of the heavens and the earth belongs to Allah. According to this verse, since all beings belong to Allah, the worldly blessings given to people are a trust.

He uses them well. He spends them in Allah's way. Those who spend in Allah's way on the orphan, the poor, the destitute, the needy — these people will have transferred their wealth to the hereafter. And this is the wealth that will be lasting and everlasting with Allah. And it is they who, winning Allah's pleasure, will attain in the abode of Paradise in the hereafter an unending, inexhaustible life and sovereignty. We feel the need to give an explanation here.

According to the verse saying the inheritance of the heavens and the earth is Allah's, since all (?) belong to Allah, the worldly blessings given to people are a trust. He uses them well, spends them in Allah's way; on the orphan, the poor, the destitute, the needy — those who spend in Allah's way, these people will have transferred their wealth to the hereafter. Pay attention here.

I gave a person 100 lira. My 100 lira is not transferred to the hereafter. Pay attention to my words here. I donated a house to a person. My house is not transferred to the hereafter. Because the world will be rolled up like an old rag and thrown into Hell. Then what will be transferred, Hodja? The reward my Lord will give me in return for these. Because the high Paradise is of light. Of light. There is no outward matter there. So the world will be rolled up like an old rag and thrown into Hell. Since these bodies of yours that you see are outward matter, a second time we will be made to die; we will remain as spirit, nafs and soul, and in the form of our true creation we will enter Paradise as light, as spirit.

(?) here. When we say we transferred it to the hereafter, we don't mean our house and wealth went into Paradise as matter — that is not the meaning.

But the short-witted understand it that way. Yes. That's why (?).

Those who are patient, those who are content with what comes from Allah. The trait of those who are patient for Allah is a very beautiful trait. If we don't lament having no worldly goods, and are content with the little or much wealth Allah gives; if in want and in our hard times too we are (?) content with Allah, accepting it. One knows that this world is passing, the hereafter — that this world is passing, while the hereafter is everlasting. If, for the blessings in the abode of the hereafter, we keep striving to win Allah's pleasure, these good deeds of ours will not be lost in Allah's sight.

And Allah Almighty, in return for these good deeds of ours, will give us far better rewards. What is this reward? In return for the (?) we did, let's say a hundred rewards. He will give me seven hundred rewards. Let's say with a hundred rewards I was buying a bicycle. With seven hundred rewards I'll buy a motorcycle. Right? In the hereafter too, let's say if I were to get a 2+1 home, it becomes a 3+1 home. Isn't that better? That is the increasing of rewards.

One knows that this world is passing, while the hereafter is everlasting. If, for the blessings in the abode of the hereafter, we keep striving to win Allah's pleasure, these good deeds of ours will not be lost in Allah's sight. And Allah Almighty, in return for these good deeds of ours, will give us far better rewards. A person will say: if only I had borne these hardships a little more in the world, so that I could also have attained these blessings of Allah Almighty. The hardships they suffered in the world will vanish from their eyes. To all who believe in Allah and have faith, Allah Almighty will give, until they are pleased — He will give. Pointing to this rank: the abode of the hereafter is better, and Allah will reward you with the best in return for what you have done, He declares.
