An-Nahl 100: His control is only over those who adopt him as a friend and who associate him as a partner with Allah.

We have come to the hundredth verse. Of the Surah, the 100th verse.

His authority is only over those who take him as a friend and those who associate him with Allah, it says. So his authority is only — they take him as a friend. Who takes him as a friend? People who go along with the desires of the nafs. People who turn their backs on Allah's verses and are ruled by the desires of the nafs, by worldly and satanic feelings, take Satan as a guide over their heads. And since the temptation Satan gives pleases the desires of their nafs, they follow him. And they associate him with Allah, it says. But those hostile to Allah: according to the verse aduvvallahi ve aduvvekum, the people it calls your friends and Allah's enemies take Satan as a friend over themselves, as a guide.

People who do not believe in Allah and the Hereafter, those living in arrogance and pride, people ruled by Satan's traits, get along very well with Satan. Since the temptation Satan gives pleases people who rebel against Allah, they immediately rush to put Satan's temptation into practice, doing evil deeds and falling into sin. They distance themselves from Allah. So people who take Satan as a friend recognize no Allah, no Book, no prophet. In the caprice of the nafs, arrogance and pride, egotism, grandeur, greatness, they are known by Satan's traits. In these states they take Satan as their friend.

By carrying out what Satan says, they associate Satan with Allah. Over those who submit to Satan, Satan has authority and dominion. There are even people who worship Satan and say, we will call Allah to account. Do you know? I know. I don't lie. I met such a person. He said, we will call Allah to account. We will call Allah to account. I said, my son. Allah is the one who created the worlds. He is the one who created everything. He is the Creator. (?) with all knowledge. Well, how will you call Him to account? We will, he says. We will call Allah to account, he says. So it means, whatever covenant he has given, this covenant (?), and to reach him is not possible.

Not possible. I ended it there, I said. Yes.

Now there are some containers. A container. There are nested containers.

While filling, the hole in one of the containers gets blocked. The hole is blocked. The bottom stays empty, the container fills with little capacity. A container, this one who has faith: when words in the direction of truth come and pierce those blocked holes, the water flows down from there, right? What happens? The knowledge above forms a base below, that is, the capacity widens, the volume widens. So people of faith, too, when they hear the word of truth, are like this: their mind opens and unfolds. But if this person's capacity is small, if it is not such a nested full container, and has no blocked place, hit it as much as you like, you will break it.

If you kill (?), you kill it; it does not turn back. No one can break his covenant. Yes. This is why Allah Almighty says, enjoin what is right. Tell it to you. So that people of wide capacity like this form the truth on their lower base and unfold. There is enjoining what is right.

May Allah grant people awakening. May He make our end good. May He grant us the intercession of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and to gather under his banner.
