When We reinforce a verse with another verse (Allah knows the best what to reveal), they said; “You are only but a slanderer!” No, most of them don’t know!

Tafsir

Some exegetes, in paraphrasing this verse, say: "When We replace a verse with another verse", referring to the events of annulment in the Holy Qur'an. In this case, they attribute shortcomings to Allah (swt). However, Allah (swt) is free from deficient attributes. No one can find any deficiency in His Word. If He had abrogated one verse with another verse, people might ask such questions. Are there more verses in the Holy Qur'an that will be abrogated in time? Or did Allah (swt) reveal the Verses according to the behavior of the people? Since He replaces one with another, did He see the deficiencies in His Word over time and send His Verses to people by changing them? Many such questions may arise. Allah's majesty over human beings and His exclusive attributes disappear, and people begin to make judgments according to their intellect.

However, if we pay attention to this Verse, the Verse (waiza beddelna) means the root of something, the price of something, that is, something itself. So when he says (waiza beddalna), it means in addition to the verse that is one, or in addition to it, or to strengthen it, or to support it.

In this Verse, it is the Verse sent by adding to the Verse sent by him. For example, it is said that the 33rd Verse of Surah al-Nisa has been changed and abrogated by the 75th Verse of Surah al-Anfal. These Verses have nothing to do with abrogation. Each Verse supports the other Verse. The verse is clarified with additions for better understanding.

For example, it is said that the 16th verse of Surah al-Nisa was changed by the 2nd verse of Surah al-Nur and was abrogated. This also has nothing to do with abrogation. They are separate verses. One of them talks about the adultery of two married people and applies the punishment of stoning, and the other one applies the punishment against two unmarried people or two loving women. The meanings and events are very different. In this respect, both the opening of the verses have been opened incorrectly in their Turkish equivalents, and the wrong meanings have been given to the wrong translations according to the minds. Every wise person should consider these well and should not make decisions according to the mind in the Verses of Allah. Considering the fact that Allah (swt) is exclusive of imperfect attributes, when Allah (swt) makes changes in this Book, the Holy Qur'an, which is in the Levh-i Mahfuz, which is preserved in His sight, why would He keep the Ayat-i Kerime that He has changed, abrogated and abrogated. Wouldn't Allah be doing an empty work?

After knowing this much, let us return to our lesson and the commentary of this Ayat. The way this verse was revealed is that when Allah sent the verse of violence, the disbelievers said that Muhammad was mocking his companions. They said that what he said yesterday he is changing today. They were humiliating themselves against the Muslims because they were an unintelligent people. It is in response to such people that Allah (swt) has revealed this verse. In case they come to their senses. By saying that Allah knows very well what He will send down, He is saying that Allah knows very well what He will send down, by clarifying events that the human mind cannot understand, and by encouraging people to ponder and think in order to explain them to people.

When they said to the Prophet (PBUH) that you are only a slanderer, Allah (swt) addressed the Prophet (PBUH) and said: "Most of them do not know. In other words, people cannot understand that this Verse has not changed, but that He has sent the Verses in a way that they will understand in the future by supporting them with Verses.

If Allah had changed His Verses, He would not have said in one of His Verses, "If the Qur'an were a human fabrication, you would have found many inconsistent words in it". When the verses in the Qur'an are abrogated and changed, would there not be inconsistent words here too? God forbid, with words like these, a person can enter into kufr by claiming that what he does not know is knowledge and that he is speaking the Truth.

What is said in the video

Verse 101 When We put one verse in place of another verse, it says. When We put one verse in place of another, and Allah knows very well what He sends down, it says. Here. The meaning is very subtle and deep, look how beautifully it says it, what does it say? When We put one verse in place of another, so there is no abrogation here. And Allah knows very well what He sends down. You are only a fabricator, they said. No, most of them do not know, it says. Now, this verse is to be rendered like this. When We reinforce one verse with another verse, reinforce, it says, here; not when We put one verse in place of another, but when We reinforce it. For example, it says, do not pray, it says.

What does it say after that? Namely, when you are intoxicated. Like this, Allah knows very well what He sends down. You are only a fabricator, they said. No, most of them do not know, says Allah Almighty. In this verse, some commentators, when rendering this verse in translation, render it as when We put one verse in place of another, and in the Holy Quran they bring up cases of abrogation. In this way they ascribe attributes to Allah Almighty. Whereas Allah Almighty is free of deficient attributes. No one can find a deficiency in His word. Had He abrogated this verse with another verse, such questions could come to people's minds.

Are there perhaps more verses in the Holy Quran to be abrogated over time? Or did Allah Almighty send down verses according to people's behavior? Since He replaced one with another, did He, seeing over time the deficiencies in His word, send His verses to people by changing them? Many questions like this can arise. Allah's grandeur over people and His being free of deficient attributes would be removed. People begin to issue rulings according to their minds. Yes. In this case people misunderstood this verse, they misunderstand it, and so they ascribe attributes to Allah Almighty. We continue with the verse.

Whereas if we pay attention to this verse: The verse ve izâ beddelnâ means the root of something, its substitute, that is, the very thing that exists. So when it says ve izâ beddelnâ, it means in addition to an existing verse, or strengthening it, supporting it. Yes. In this case they render the verses by (?) these. And they ascribe attributes to Allah Almighty.

In this verse too, it is a verse sent in addition to the verses He had sent. For example, it says Surah An-Nisa, verse 33, by Surah Al-Anfal, verse 75, was replaced, abrogated. These verses have nothing to do with abrogation. Each verse supports the other. So that it is better understood, clarity is brought by adding to the verse. Again, for example, Surah An-Nisa, verse 16, by Surah An-Nur, verse 2, was replaced.

It was abrogated, they say. This too has nothing to do with abrogation. They are separate verses. One speaks of adultery by two married people and applies (?) The other applies the punishment to two unmarried people or two lesbian women. The meanings and events are very different. For this reason, the verses were wrongly rendered in their Turkish equivalents, and to the wrongly rendered translations wrong meanings according to minds were given. Every person of reason should think these over well; about Allah's verses, decisions should not be made according to the mind. Keeping in view that Allah Almighty is free of deficient attributes: in this Book with Him, which is (?) in the Preserved Tablet, that is, in the Holy Quran, when Allah Almighty makes a change, the verse He changed and removed by abrogation, why would He keep it?

Wouldn't Allah have done a futile thing? I mean, what does Allah Almighty say? With Him is a Book which is preserved in the Preserved Tablet. Nothing is added to it later, nor is anything taken from it, it says. In this case, as Allah Almighty said, if He had abrogated, since in that Book with Him there is neither a change nor an addition, why would He keep there His word that He abrogated? Having known this much here, let's return to our lesson and the commentary of the verse, we have said. The occasion of this verse's revelation: when Allah Almighty sent the verse of severity, the unbelievers mocked Muhammad's companions.

They said, he changes today what he said yesterday. Being a people whose minds could not grasp it, they were putting themselves in a contemptible position before the Muslims. So Allah Almighty sent down this verse in answer to such people, so that they might come to their senses. In answer, by saying Allah knows very well what He sends down, making clearer the matters the human mind cannot grasp, to explain them to people, leading them to reflection and thought, He says, Allah knows very well what He sends down. When they said to the Prophet (peace be upon him), you are only a fabricator, Allah Almighty, addressing the Prophet (peace be upon him), said: most of them do not know.

That is, that this verse did not change, but that in a way they would understand later He sends verses supporting them with verses, people cannot understand, He is saying.

Had Allah changed His verses, then in another verse He would not have said: had the Quran been made up by a man, you would find in it many contradictory (?). When verses in the Quran are changed by abrogation, wouldn't contradictory words emerge here too? May Allah protect us, with such talk a person, calling what he does not know knowledge and saying I speak the truth, may fall into kufr.
