Translation

Verily, We know that they are saying “it is only a man who is teaching him the Qur’an.” that person they claim speaks different language, But this (Qur’an) is in clear Arabic language.

Tafsir

The manner of the descent of this verse is as follows. The polytheists claimed that the Qur'an was taught by slaves of the Greek and Christian religion, such as Jabra or Yaish, or by Salmani Farisi, or by a Nazarene named Belam, or by Ibn Meysere, who spoke Greek, so that people would not enter Islam and would be deceived.

Allah (swt) refutes this idea of the disbelievers by saying: We know that they say that only a man taught him this Qur'an. By saying that the language of the person they attribute to him is foreign, whereas this Qur'an is in clear Arabic, he refutes the theory that people teach the Qur'an.

Since the Qur'an is in plain Arabic, the language of the people who teach the Qur'an is a foreign language. They do not have the Quraysh language, which is the Arabic language. Also, at the time the Qur'an was revealed, poets in Mecca used to hang their best poems on the Ka'ba wall. Seeing that the Holy Qur'an was so superior in terms of eloquence and eloquence, the poets took their poems from the wall of the Kaaba in the face of the Qur'an. They said that these poems cannot be hung here when there is the Qur'an.

What is said in the video

Surely We know that they say, that is, only a human teaches him the Quran.

The tongue of the person they attribute it to is foreign. How beautiful. Allah Almighty refutes their (?) like this. Supposedly they came from the lands of Rum and taught him the Quran. Now how beautifully Allah Almighty says it. The tongue of the person they attribute it to is foreign, He says. That is, he knows Greek. But the Prophet (peace be upon him), apart from Arabic, knows nothing else. Whereas this Quran is clear Arabic, He says. How beautiful. He refutes their words with this verse. Because of the slander they made against the Prophet (peace be upon him). Yes.

Let's read the verse once more. Surely We know that they say only a human teaches him the Quran. The tongue of the person they attribute it to is foreign. Whereas this Quran is clear Arabic. The occasion of this verse's revelation is this. The polytheists, so that people would not enter Islam and to lead people's minds astray, claimed that the Quran was taught by a slave named Jabr or Ya'ish, who belonged to the Rum and the Christian religion, and some, that it was taught by people such as Salman al-Farisi, or a Nazarene named Bal'am, or the Greek- speaking Ibn Maysara. So Allah Almighty, to refute this idea of the unbelievers too: We know that they say this Quran, only a human teaches him.

The tongue of the person they attribute it to is foreign. Whereas this Quran is clear Arabic. By saying this, the claim that humans teach the Quran He refutes. Yes. Here are the proofs. The proof, the best proof, is that Allah, with His word, us, well, addresses us with His words and teaches us.

The Quran only, since the Quran is plain Arabic, while the people teaching the Quran have tongues, that is, languages, that are foreign. They do not possess the Arabic tongue, the tongue of Quraysh. Moreover, at the time the Quran was revealed, poets in Mecca would hang their finest poems on the walls of the Kaaba. The poets, seeing that the Holy Quran was far superior in eloquence and rhetoric, took their own poems down from the wall of the Kaaba before the Quran. They said, while the Quran is here, these poems are not hung here, cannot be hung.
