Translation

They are the ones who have made their ears, eyes and hearts sealed towards Allah. And they are the ignorant ones.

Tafsir

It is in these traits and feelings, in their rebellion and disbelief against Allah, in the arrogance and pride of the nafs, in their selfishness, in their excessive ambition for the world, and in their complex of greatness that they do not recognize Allah as the Creator. The disbelievers who betray Allah, in their stubbornness, block the paths of salvation and guidance and give up hope in Allah.

They have blinded their eyes. They cannot see the Truth in the presence of falsehood, their eyes are blind. Their ears do not want to hear the Truth in the presence of falsehood, and when they hear the Word of Truth, the clouds in the sky crack with greed. Since they are in a state of hatred and ambition in their hearts, they have had their hearts sealed against guidance and Allah. They cannot attain eternal guidance and salvation.

They are the heedless ones. Because if all these warnings, all these warnings, all these lifetimes, all these bitter and sweet events explode in their ears like a cannon blast, and they do not hear this sound and are not startled, they will surely be the heedless ones.

Allah is very merciful. Allah waits patiently for people to return to Him. In this respect, He gives people time to repent for the mistakes they have made throughout their lives and to recognize Allah as the Creator. But He also knows who will repent and who will not repent during this time. Each soul is given a destiny and a lifetime to live within this destiny, Allah (swt) makes people live in this world and makes them witness to themselves, their surroundings and Allah (swt). In the Hereafter, people will have no words to say.

What is said in the video

Its verse 108 goes like this: "Those are the ones whose hearts, ears and eyes Allah has sealed, and they are the heedless themselves." Now here Allah Almighty would be making a distinction among His servants, that Allah, may He protect us, among the servants He Himself created, has sealed the hearts and ears, the hearts too, of some, so it would seem. Its original is like this. Now we read the correct version. "Those are the ones who have caused Allah to seal their ears, eyes and hearts. And they are the heedless themselves," it says. That is the correct one. After interpreting this verse in this way, we explain this. These people, in this (?) and these feelings, rebellious toward Allah, their denial, the arrogance and pride of the nafs, their egotism, that is, selfhood, their excessive greed for the world, whims, and again within the superiority complex they see in themselves, do not recognize Allah as the Creator.

The disbelievers who betray Allah, closing the paths of salvation and guidance through their stubbornness in this state, lose their hope in Allah. And Allah Almighty says in His verse: only the disbelievers lose hope in Allah, it says. Yes, they have blinded their eyes. Beside falsehood, they do not see the truth. Their eyes are blind. Their ears too, beside falsehood, do not hear the truth, do not listen, and when they hear the word of truth, out of rage they get to the point where the clouds in the sky would burst. So these, these, these people, because in their hearts they are in a (?) and ambition, these have had their hearts too, against guidance and against Allah, sealed. They can never attain guidance and salvation.

So according to the verse that says Hatemallâhu alâ kulûbihim ve alâ sem'ihim ve alâ ebsârihim gışâveh, ve lehum azâbun azîm, back at the address Elestü bi-rabbiküm, when they made a covenant with Allah Almighty, these betrayed Allah, did not recognize Allah, and expected the Lord of their own imagination; people who made a covenant with Allah Almighty in this way, who, as I said, according to the verse I read, have had their hearts sealed. Their eyes are far from seeing the truth; from hearing the truth their ears are very far. So they are the heedless themselves. Because so many warnings, so many admonitions, a whole lifetime, bitter and sweet events burst right by their ears like cannon fire, and yet they do not hear this sound and do not flinch.

Of course they will be the heedless themselves. Allah Almighty is full of mercy. Out of His mercy, Allah Almighty has sent one percent of His mercy to the world, and ninety-nine percent, for when He judges His servants on the Day of Judgment, He has set aside for (?). Allah patiently waits for people to turn back to (?). Therefore He gives people time throughout their lives to repent and seek forgiveness for the mistakes they have made, and to recognize Allah as the Creator. In that case, if Allah Almighty gave people their punishment immediately for what they did, and in a verse He says: "If you had been seized immediately for the mistakes you made, you would not find a single living being walking on the earth," it says. Why does He say this?

Because by creation He created us deficient, created us fallible. The reason? The reason is that He gave us a part of His essence, that is, because He gave of His spirit, because He took people as a (?) to His essence, because He created them to see (?), He has not created a being equal to His essence. In this case (?), and man will commit errors. Through this error he will know his helplessness. When he says (?) forgiveness to the Lord who created him, he will be in accord with Allah Almighty's purpose of creation. And Allah Almighty will forgive these people. In this case, when man commits an error, knows his helplessness and repents and seeks forgiveness from his Lord, that person, because he is in accord with Allah Almighty's purpose of creation, will surely find Allah Almighty ever accepting of repentance.

Yes. But He knows who will repent within these times and who will not. Because Allah Almighty says in His verse: "There is not a single living being to come until the Day of Judgment whose deeds We do not know." Yes. A destiny given to every soul, and a lifetime to be lived within that destiny: by having people live it in this world, Allah Almighty makes man a witness against himself before himself, before his surroundings and before Allah. In the Hereafter people will have no words left to say. Yes.
