Verily, there is no doubt that they are the ones who will suffer a loss in the Hereafter.
Tafsir
Thus, people who are wasteful and cruel to their nafs are the ones who will suffer loss in the Hereafter. Because these are the ones who prefer the life of this world to the Hereafter and attain the attributes that Allah (swt) has mentioned.
1- Those who prefer the Hereafter to the life of this world,
2- Those whose eyes, ears and hearts are sealed in this respect,
3- Those who are heedless of Allah's mercy,
4- Those who do not seek Allah's guidance,
5- Those who incur the wrath of Allah,
6- Those who suffer a painful torment from Allah,
Those who have the emotions that will gather these traits in them, those who are equipped with these characters, are pushed by these emotions into all kinds of pleasures of the life of this world. They will take all kinds of actions against Allah (swt) and pass on to the Hereafter as bankrupt merchants whose earnings are not profitable. In the Hereafter they will be alone and desolate, with no intercessor or helper. These are the losers.
What is said in the video
Surah An-Nahl, verse 109. Surely they are the very ones who are the losers in the Hereafter, it says. The losers in the Hereafter, whose good deeds, it says, have all gone to waste. Knowingly denying a verse of Allah Almighty, or denying Allah, or denying the Prophet, the Seal of the Prophets, Muhammad (peace be upon him), means leaving the religion of Islam, and such people are disbelievers. In this case, all the good and beautiful deeds they did on earth, because of this denial, weigh very, very light and are not taken into account. We will not even set up a scale for them, says Allah Almighty.
In this case they are destined for Hell forever. Surely they are the very ones who are the losers in the Hereafter, He says. Thus people who are harmful and merciless toward their own selves are, in the Hereafter, the very ones who suffer loss. Because they prefer the life of this world to the Hereafter and have earned these attributes that Allah Almighty lists. One, they prefer the Hereafter to the life of this world. None of them believes in the Hereafter. Has anyone gone and come back, they say. In this case they are doubtful about the Hereafter. Second, in this respect, they are those whose eyes, ears and hearts are sealed.
Third, those who are heedless of Allah's mercy. Fourth, those who do not want Allah's guidance. Fifth, those who have incurred Allah's attribute of wrath. And sixth, those who are struck with a painful punishment from Allah. Those who have the feelings to gather these traits upon themselves, who equip themselves with these actions, are driven by these feelings to every kind of pleasure and delight of worldly life. Resorting to every kind of (?) against Allah Almighty, like merchants whose gains have not turned a profit, who have gone bankrupt, they pass on to the Hereafter. In the Hereafter, alone and forsaken, they will have neither intercessors nor helpers to be found. These are the very ones who suffer loss.
Allah Almighty on earth, His mercy in the universe to everyone, whether they deny Him, or associate partners with Allah, or are idolaters, fire-worshippers, or worship Satan. Allah showers His mercy on everyone in the universe. But in the Hereafter, it says, only on the believer, only. Yes, in the Hereafter Allah Almighty will have mercy only on the believer, will greet them with a smiling face, and will again treat the Muslims with His mercy. But for the non-Muslims from whom He has lifted His mercy, no one will intercede. So in this situation they will be left there alone and forsaken.
