(Allah) has made unlawful the dead, blood, pork and that which was slaughtered for the name of someone other than Allah. But whoever is forced (can consume these) without attacking (other’s rights) and without transgressing. Verily, Allah is Ghafoor (Most Forgiving) and Raheem (the One Who very generously accepts repentance).
Tafsir
Allah (swt) informs people about the animals that He has made unlawful for them. Dead animals are forbidden because the blood circulating in the veins of humans and animals is filth. All germs are found in the blood. If an animal dies of a disease, its meat is carrion and cannot be eaten. Because the germs in the veins have infected the meat. Its meat is also infected. Therefore Allah has forbidden the eating of this carcass.
Blood is the same way. As we have explained, blood is a liquid that carries germs. In this respect, the blood of humans and animals is also not to be drunk.
If it is a pig, there is a worm in its meat. Even though this meat is cooked at 300 degrees Celsius, the worm of this worm does not die and it parasitizes on human beings. Then there are some characteristics in pork. Allah has therefore forbidden the meat of this animal.
And the meat of animals slaughtered not in the name of Allah is not to be eaten. There is no deity other than Allah, so that you should eat what He gives you. Eating the meat of animals slaughtered other than in the name of Allah means associating shirk with Allah. A Muslim never associates shirk with Allah. Nor does he eat the meat of an animal that is not slaughtered in the name of Allah.
Except in the case of a person who is in hardship, or is near death, or has fainted two or three times from hunger. It is permissible to eat as long as one does not exceed the limit, that is, one does not eat to the point of gorging, but one does not eat to fill one's stomach, but only enough to satisfy one's hunger and bring one to a state of well-being. While not violating anyone else's rights. The meaning here is that hunger and poverty should not lead you to usurp someone else's property. Do not let it lead you to theft. Fear Allah and respect people's property and lives.
What is said in the video
Allah has forbidden you only dead animals, the dead animal, blood, the flesh of swine, and animals slaughtered in a name other than Allah's, He says.
But whoever is compelled, without attacking the rights of others and without transgressing the limit, may eat of them. For Allah is Most Forgiving, Most Merciful, He says. Yes. What do you say here? Only dead animals. A dead animal is carrion. And carrion is rotten, full of germs. In this case. The trusts I have given to us and to you, He says, I will call you to account for the way you used them, says Allah Almighty. What is this trust? Your bodies. If you do not protect your body, if you betray this trust Allah has given you, if you make it drink alcohol, if you subject it to every kind of evil and make it eat dead, rotten carrion, of course Allah will ask you.
In this case, dead animals (?) blood. What is blood? A liquid substance circulating in the human body or in the bodies of animals. Blood. Germs gather in the blood. With so many germs, as the germs eat the red cells and white cells in that blood, what are white cells? They are soldiers in the blood. Having taken the form of a defense against germs, soldiers. In this case they destroy the germs. If the germs eat the white cells, the white cells, the body grows weak. Because those white cells cannot resist the germs, it grows weak and falls ill. In this case, since blood is a place of germs, Allah Almighty has made that blood forbidden to us as well. Doctors give us injections or medicine, they give the medicine for that illness or its injection.
What is this? The dead germ of that germ; the dead form of the germ entering the body is given to you. In this case the white cells, by eating those dead germs, build immunity against these germs, and this time they consume their lives. They destroy their lives, and you are cured of the illness. So since blood too is an impurity, to protect your body Allah Almighty has forbidden blood to you as well. He has also forbidden you pork. What is pork? It has trichina in it that does not die even when it is cooked. When it passes into the human body it causes various diseases. Well, why did He create this animal?
Well, it too has a task. In the universe they will clean up after one another. The pig there in the mountains, for example, eats all kinds of carrion and filth and cleans up. Well, could you eat the flesh of an animal that eats every kind of filth and carrion? So Allah, Allah Almighty, protects you from this animal and from its flesh. What does He say after that? Animals slaughtered in a name other than Allah's. Is there another god besides Allah, who created in this world, so that what he created (?) you sacrifice? What does this mean? If you sacrifice what Allah created in the name of another, you will have associated partners with Allah.
So in this case, in the name of other than Allah, that is, the sacrifices people slaughter to their idols, these you cannot sacrifice to idols. For sacrifice belongs to Allah alone. And it is the debt you owe for your life. The debt for your life. Those who can afford it will slaughter their sacrifice. So in this case, just as when Abraham's Ishmael was about to be sacrificed, Allah Almighty sent a ram to Gabriel (peace be upon him) and he slaughtered the ram as the ransom for his life, everyone will slaughter this sacrifice if their situation allows. And Allah Almighty will bring meat to those who cannot slaughter anyway.
There is a spirit of brotherhood in Islam, you see. So in this case dead animals, blood, pork and animals slaughtered in the name of other than Allah were made forbidden. But, He says, if you were compelled, that is, you were left alone on an island or you were stranded on a mountaintop after a plane crash. Let me put it this way,
you caught an animal, for example, let's say a freshly dead animal, its blood still flowing, there is blood there; for example, you can drink its blood, or eat its meat, but not until you are full. You may eat enough to keep yourself, yourself alive. Enough to keep you alive. Then, when you are back to life, you abandon it. And when you eat it, you do not regard it as lawful. You eat it only by holding on to this verse. That is: O Allah, You know that I am in distress. The trust You have given me, that is, this life, I am obliged to nourish. So in this case, until I reach safety, I eat this out of necessity, not for taste, nor to fill my stomach, but to stay alive; with this intention, in this way you may eat of these forbidden things.
Yes.
In this case you will find Allah Almighty to be Most Forgiving.
Allah Almighty informs people of the animals He has forbidden to them.
Yes.
As for dead animals being forbidden: in humans and animals, the blood circulating in the veins is an impurity. All germs are found in the blood vessels. If an animal has also suffered an illness, its meat is carrion and is not eaten. Because the germs in the veins have spread to the meat. Its meat is full of germs too. For this reason Allah has forbidden eating this carrion. Yes.
Blood is truly like that as well. As we explained, blood is a liquid that carries germs. For this reason the blood of humans and animals is not drunk either. As for the pig, there is trichina in its meat. Even though this meat is cooked at 300 degrees, this trichina worm does not die and passes to humans as a parasite. Also, pork has certain characteristics. For this reason Allah has also prohibited the meat of this animal. Also, one does not eat the slaughtered meat of animals not in Allah's name. There is no god other than Allah, that you should eat what he gives. Eating the meat of animals slaughtered in a name other than Allah's means associating partners with Allah.
A Muslim never associates partners with Allah. Nor does he eat the meat of an animal not slaughtered in Allah's name. For example, today non-Muslims slaughter meat. They try to drag this into it. A non-Muslim slaughtered the meat; its meat cannot be eaten, they say.
Meat slaughtered by a non-Muslim may be eaten. Because Allah Almighty says in His verse: their food is lawful to you, your food is lawful to them. Regarding non-Muslims, for the People of the Book. In this case the disbelievers, who, as long as they are not in Islam, are in the state of disbelievers. They slaughter for the purpose of meat. For the purpose of meat. They don't say the basmala. They don't take it in Allah's name. When you eat a meal, you say Bismillah, don't you? Do you eat without Bismillah? But of course there are those who don't know this either. Once you say the basmala, it is in Allah's name.
You can eat your food. But Allah Almighty, pay attention, says whose meat is not eaten. Look what He says. But Allah: the animal slaughtered in the name of other than Allah has been made forbidden. What does He say? In the name of other than Allah. That is, you cannot eat the meat of an animal slaughtered in the name of idols. Otherwise you eat the meat of the disbeliever who slaughtered for meat. There is no harm in this. But those in distress, who have come to (?) of death, or who from hunger have fainted two or three times, and such situations are excepted, these situations are excepted. On condition of not exceeding the limit. That is, not stuffing oneself, and not even to fill one's stomach, but there is no harm in eating enough to suppress hunger and reach safety.
Meanwhile, without violating anyone's right; the meaning here is: let hunger and poverty not lead you to seize another's property, not drive you to theft; fear Allah and respect people's property and lives. So says Allah Almighty. Yes.
