Translation

Do not say “this is lawful and that is unlawful” by relying on lies that your tongues fabricate because (if you do so) you will have fabricated lies against Allah. Verily, those who fabricate lies against Allah cannot attain salvation.

Tafsir

Some people used to make laws in their own favor by imposing prohibitions according to the religions they invented according to their own minds, saying that some animals were reserved for men and women could not eat the meat of that animal, but women could eat the meat of an animal that was stillborn.

This is what people say and invent according to their own minds and intellects, and their tongues fabricate lies against Allah (swt) based on lies, saying that this is lawful and that is unlawful, apart from an order from Allah (swt) Himself, i.e. the Shari'ah ruling. Whatever they say, whatever words they utter, outside of the Shari'ah decrees and Ayat of Allah (swt), are mechanisms of lies.

People who continue in this state are fabricating a lie against Allah (swt), and if they forbid a word that Allah (swt) has not spoken and make laws according to their own minds as a religion, they are not only committing shirk against Allah (swt), but they are also telling a great lie. In this state they will not be saved.

What is said in the video

Surah An-Nahl, verse 116. Based on the lie your tongues invent, do not say: this is lawful and that is forbidden. So what is this lie their tongues invent? "Halal-slaughtered." What their tongues invent. Yes. "Halal-slaughtered." How do we know you slaughtered this halal?

How do we know you slaughtered it saying the basmala, with Allah's name? Yes. "Halal-slaughtered." So is what he slaughtered forbidden? Is this all you understand of the verse? The lawful provisions Allah has offered to people: he too slaughters a cow, slaughters an ox, slaughters a sheep. Surely he does not slaughter them for idols. He slaughters for people, for people to eat, for the purpose of meat. Even if he does not say the basmala, you say the basmala and eat. Yes. You can eat their meat. Because their meat is for you; their food is lawful to you and your food is lawful to them, says Allah Almighty in His verse.

For the People of the Book. But whose meat should one not eat? One should not eat meat slaughtered in the name of idols. Yes.

Based on the lie your tongues invent, do not say: this is lawful and that is forbidden. For then you are inventing a lie against Allah, He says. How well He puts it. Today, aren't there those who invent lies about the Prophet? They say: this is a hadith, that is a hadith. The words of speech he never said, things with no counterpart in the verses, and even those saying the verses are this way or that, who scatter the verses with (?) lies.

Are they not inventing lies against Allah?

Yes. Well then, in this case, do these not take on a burden of sin? What does He say? Allah Almighty supposedly says this in a verse: Indeed, We have created many of mankind and jinn for Hell. How can you accuse Allah of injustice? And: Allah does not guide the disbelieving people, He says. Well, if He does not guide them, then had He sent the Quran only to the Muslims, you, had He said, I am not sending it to you, I am not giving it, you are disbelievers, that would have been the end of it. Aren't there Muslims among them?

They interpret the verses wrongly. We do not guide the disbelieving people, He says; We do not guide them. Whereas the disbelieving people cannot attain guidance as long as they remain in that state. They cannot attain guidance. If what each one earns is his own, if each one, by his own will, through the deeds he has deliberately carried out, is to receive reward and sin, how can you blame Allah here? That is how these poor people who are called scholars have interpreted the verses. And they have filled people's minds with lies and falsehoods, with these (?).

How well the verse answers them. Based on the lie your tongues invent, do not say: this is lawful, that is forbidden. For then you are inventing a lie against Allah. Surely those who invent lies against Allah will not attain salvation, He says. Yes. How well He puts it. Are these not under the burden of sin? Although we make the truth heard, although they know the truth, these people chase position and fame, and to present their results they turn to (?). If they had occupied those positions for the truth, for the truth they would listen to the voice. The voice. They would listen to the voice of truth.

Yes.

Some people, saying certain animals are reserved for men, that women would not eat that animal's meat, but that women could eat the meat of an animal born dead, imposed bans as they saw fit, according to the religions they invented, and made laws in their own favor too. This is, apart from a command from Allah Almighty Himself, that is, apart from the religious ruling, people saying and inventing things according to their own heads and minds, and, based on their tongues' lie, saying this is lawful, these are forbidden, inventing lies against Allah. Those who speak outside Allah Almighty's religious ruling and His verses: the words they speak are each a mechanism of lies.

People who continue in this state will have invented lies against Allah Almighty, for if, with a word Allah Almighty never said, they set bans as religion according to their own heads and make laws, they both fall into shirk against Allah and will have told a great lie. Such people, in this state, will not attain salvation.
