Show patience, for your patience is only with Allah’s help. Do not be saddened for them. Do not be in discomfort for the plots they are making.

Tafsir

When Allah (swt) tells the Prophet (s.a.w.) to be patient, your patience is with Allah's help, He means that Allah (swt) Himself raised and disciplined the Prophet (s.a.w.). In this respect, the Prophet (PBUH) said in one of his hadiths, "My Lord has disciplined me, disciplined me well.

So, if Allah (swt) raised and educated His Messenger, He showed the Prophet (s.a.w.) many events before he came to this world, and taught him some truths that human minds cannot comprehend. In this respect, with Allah's permission and mercy, He revealed as many secrets to His Prophet as Allah (swt) permitted. Habib-i Kibriya Hatemen Nabi Hazrat Muhammad (PBUH) also knew very well where the end of the matter would lead or his patience was beyond the creatures, as our Lord informed us. Therefore, your patience is only with the help of Allah.

When the Prophet (PBUH) was living in the world as a human being, he used to worry about some events that Allah (swt) did not inform him about. He was worried for the sake of Islam about the traps set by the polytheists for the Prophet (pbuh) and the hardships he suffered. But Allah is with His Messenger. In order to relieve the sorrow of the Prophet (PBUH), He said, "My Prophet, do not grieve and do not be sad. And do not worry about the traps they are setting. That is, the polytheists cannot harm you with their traps. For I am with you. In this case, Allah (swt) emphasizes the greatness of the status of the Prophet (s.a.w.) and that his religion, Islam, will live until the Day of Judgment.

What is said in the video

Surah An-Nahl, verse 127: Allah Almighty speaks to people about being patient. What does He say? Be patient. And your patience is only with Allah's help. Why? The patience of the Prophet (peace be upon him) is with Allah's help. What is the reason?

(?) your help, not with Allah's help, but why to the Prophet: your patience too is only with Allah's help. He is helping him. He sent the Prophet as a mercy to the worlds.

So the Prophet (peace be upon him) was brought up by Allah Almighty. My Lord brought me up, and brought me up beautifully, he says. And the verse "he does not speak idly" was sent down. So among the worlds, among the people from Adam until the Day of Judgement who will come, in terms of faith, the Prophet's faith outweighs all. What does this mean? Among people, he is the one who knows Allah Almighty most, who knows most, loves most and is closest to Him as a friend. With ardent love. So he wished that all people would return to their Lord. He would struggle hard. So Allah Almighty, reassuring him, says: Your patience too is only with Allah's help.

That is, through revelation to your heart, We continually give you counsel. What kind of counsel does He give? How does Allah Almighty, to the heart of the Prophet (peace be upon him), give counsel? O glorious Prophet, you too know that in the realm of Lahut, when We made the covenant with people, everyone's wishes, desires and aims became their destiny. Just as no one can change his own destiny, I too am not one to change people's destiny. So be patient. He would constantly remind him of this verse and instil it in him. So the Prophet too would rely on Allah Almighty and draw support from Him. Do not grieve over them.

That is, do not grieve over the unbelievers. Do not be anxious about the traps they are setting, He says. How beautifully He puts it. Allah Almighty. Yes. When Allah Almighty says to the Prophet (peace be upon him): Be patient, your patience is with Allah's help — He makes known that the Prophet (peace be upon him) was raised and brought up by Allah Almighty Himself. That is why the Prophet (peace be upon him) says in one of his hadiths: My Lord brought me up, and brought me up beautifully. Now, in this there is a (?) and genius. That is, what is meant here by upbringing is Allah Almighty's, regarding the Prophet (peace be upon him): constantly informing him of the situation through revelation, informing him of the traps the polytheists would set for him, and about some events, from the future, informing him again, supporting him with Gabriel the Trustworthy, who recited the Quran to him as revelation, and setting his heart at rest.

Yes. Constantly with Allah Almighty — just as people in the world live on familiar terms — since he is in (?) and consultation with our Lord, surely, with Allah Almighty's patience, he is directed to be patient. "Take on the character of Allah," it says, after all. A person who takes on the character of Allah will also take on patience. Patience too is a trait of character. Now, Allah Almighty knows what each person will do. With patience He waits for them to return to Him. That is, He waits for the day when each completes his life and is called to account in the hereafter. So, since Allah Almighty raised him, the Prophet too will be patient with this patience; knowing the (?) of everyone's patience, the day they will be called to account at the Resurrection, knowing that day, and accordingly the Prophet's patience, though not like Allah Almighty's patience, with a patience close to it — your patience too, He says, is only with My help, He says.

That is what help is. So, because of the character I have given you, you too, He says, with a character close to My character, are able to be patient — He makes known that you have reached that state. That is, with a patience above all people. So if Allah Almighty raised and brought up His Beloved, He showed the Prophet (peace be upon him) many events before he came into the world, and taught him some truths the human mind cannot grasp. Therefore, by Allah's permission and generosity, as far as Allah Almighty allowed, He showed secrets to His Beloved. The Beloved of the Almighty, the (?) Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), too knows very well where the end of the matter will lead, or, from what our Lord made known, his patience was above that of created beings.

Let us support this point here with a word. We passed over that; let us add a word there. We did not add it here. Because it is not necessary. But let me open this up for you here. The Beloved of the Almighty, the (?) Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), too knows very well where the end of the matter will lead, and from what our Lord made known, his patience is above that of created beings. Here there is a ladunni knowledge, such that "sultan of ladunni knowledge" is said of the Prophet. Why sultan of ladunni knowledge? Because before coming into the world, he knows what will happen at the end of many events.

This is the secret of ladunni knowledge. That, Allah — the keys of the unseen are in Allah's hand. To those to whom He made known what will happen at the end of the unseen, that is, in time to come, they showed some (?). A person who knows this is, at that moment, with ladunni knowledge. It has been made known to him. For example, Khidr's making a hole in the ship. He knows what its end is, but Moses does not know. What is the end? Ahead there is a king who seizes every sound ship, whereas Allah Almighty said to Khidr: Damage the ship, these children are poor, it is their livelihood; let him not take it from them, and let them secure their sustenance.

Because Moses does not know this, he says: You did a very bad thing, you have gone at the ship of these wronged people, he says. Yes. This is ladunni knowledge. Indeed, it was to learn ladunni knowledge that Moses set out to keep company with Khidr. So when Allah Almighty makes known the end of a matter — the end of a thing He does, where it will lead — this falls under ladunni knowledge. So what do we say here? After saying this much about this, we say: He showed His Beloved. The Beloved of the Almighty, the (?) Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), too knows where the end of the matter will lead very well.

The end of the matter. How does he know? Therefore, by Allah's permission and generosity, as far as Allah Almighty allowed, secrets — the Prophet too knows very well where the end of the matter will lead, or, from what our Lord made known, his patience was above that of created beings. Therefore it says: your patience is only with Allah's help. So he also knows what the end of people will be. And through ladunni knowledge, through Allah Almighty making it known to him: knowing what the end of a matter will be gives a person relief. For example, say you shouted and yelled at me. You also unjustly seized my property.

And I was no match for you. But if I know what kind of disaster you will meet because of this behaviour of yours, if it is made known to me, I wait for the day that end will come. The day of that end. Then there is no more need to curse you, nor do I feel any need in any way to make it a worry for myself. Now, since it fits here, let me tell you about something that happened to me. Because I lived through this myself. We had a flat in Ankara. My flat was on the ground floor; the drain, the sewer was blocked. (?) we said: the sewer is blocked; if this sewer gets more blocked, it will back up into the house.

That is, we are on the lower floor; the house is a bit, (?) floor, raised like this, but in the garden's drain there is sewage; from there it pushes up. That is, the sewage has nowhere to go. (?), and indeed the sewage started overflowing from the toilet. We came home. My wife was upset. (?), we said, such and such. He did open it, but, she said, it was up to here. In front of the toilets, she said, it filled with (?) sewage, she said. The man, she said, ran right over and opened it, but we went through quite a lot of trouble, she said. In this situation, to go up and insult him, my nafs was pushing me.

But I was patient for Allah's sake. I did not say a single word. Spiritually, I was told exactly this: We have given him such an ailment that this ailment will end for him in the grave.

It was as if that distress left me and peace filled my heart. Indeed, the next day someone comes. He says to the man: Look, this part of the house, he says, the roof has warped, he says. The man looks; however he sees it, the roof of the house has warped, the house will collapse on us, and he runs downstairs, runs upstairs, and the man gets a (?). And with that he dies and is gone. Super. So when He says: Be patient, your patience is with Allah's help — because he knows the outcome, because our Lord made it known to him, of course that is Allah's help to him. Yes. Allah Almighty, to those He loves and to the heirs of the prophets, gives help with patience in this way.

He makes it known.

Yes. We continue. With the verse. The Prophet (peace be upon him), as a human being, while living in this world, over some events which Allah Almighty had not made known to him would grieve and worry. Over the traps the polytheists set for the Prophet (peace be upon him) and the hardships they caused, he worried for the sake of Islam. But Allah Almighty is with His Beloved. To dispel the grief of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and to ease him: My Beloved, do not grieve and do not be sad. And do not be anxious about the traps they are setting. That is, the polytheists can do you no harm with the traps they set.

Because I am with you, He said. In this way, the (?) of the rank of the Prophet (peace be upon him) and the survival of the religion of Islam until the Day of Judgement, Allah Almighty is putting into effect.
