Your Lord might have mercy on you. But if you return to mischief, We will punish you again. We have made the hell a prison for the infidels.
Tafsir
Allah is the Owner of Mercy. Whoever obeys Allah and listens to His commands will be forgiven the evil deeds they did in their ignorance. If the Children of Israel, who went beyond the limit in oppression, stop making mischief in the land, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful, and forgives people. But if these people, despite all these warnings and all the experiences they have had with the calamities that have befallen them, still rebel against Allah (swt), start making mischief in the earth, turn people away from the path of Allah (swt), pursue the evil of interest, seek pleasure and haram, disregard human rights and law, enjoy doing injustice, and follow the devil and tagut, saying that the paths of darkness and swamp are the right paths, Allah (swt) says to them: We will punish you again.
If people disobey Allah's commands, lie to the Prophets, and do not believe in Allah and the Books He has sent, Hell is for them an eternal abode, a mattress and a prison.
What is said in the video
Surah Al-Isra, verse 8: Perhaps your Lord will have mercy on you. But if you return to corruption again, We too will punish you again. We have made Hell a prison for the disbelievers, it says. Allah Almighty is Merciful. Whoever obeys Allah and heeds His commands, the evil deeds from the time of ignorance that he committed are forgiven him. So if the Children of Israel, who transgressed in oppression, stop spreading corruption on earth, Allah is Forgiving, Merciful; He forgives people. So what does this mean? O Children of Israel!
However much they will call you cursed, even if you are cursed. Even if you are cursed. Do not lose hope in Me and go on being cursed, He says. We are Tawwab, ever accepting repentance. If you turn back – He knows he will not, but He leaves the door open for him. If you turn back, I will forgive you. If he does not turn back, Hell is for you, He says. It has already been prepared, He says. How beautiful. He says it here. Whoever obeys Allah and heeds His commands, the evil deeds from the time of ignorance that he committed are forgiven him. So if the Children of Israel, who transgressed in oppression, stop spreading corruption on earth, Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.
He forgives people. But if these people, despite so many warnings, despite the calamities that befell them and so many experiences they went through, still rebel against Allah Almighty, start spreading corruption on earth, turn people away from Allah's path, chase an evil such as interest, turn to pleasure and the forbidden, do not respect people's rights and law, enjoy oppression, and, saying that dark and swampy paths are the right paths, follow Satan and the taghut, then Allah Almighty says to them: We too will punish you again. If people do not heed Allah's commands, deny the prophets, and do not believe in Allah and the books Allah sent, then Hell is for them an eternal abode, a bed and a prison.
Nor will they ever leave it again. Yes. When Hell, it says, surrounds them on all sides, when their hope of getting out is cut off, when the gates of Hell close upon them, then their screams, it says, (?). Yes.
In what looks like fleeting pleasure but is swamp and oppression, if you are deceived by the life of this world, see everything around you rosy, like a zakkum flower blooming in a swamp, turn your back on Allah and busy yourself with your nafs,
like the cicada that chirps all summer long and in winter is in need of the ant, you fall into that state and prepare your place in eternal Hell.
