What is said in the video
Surah Al-Isra, verse 9: Indeed, this Quran guides to the most upright path. It gives the believers who do good deeds the glad tidings that there is a great reward for them, it says. Indeed, Allah is perfect and free of all deficient attributes. Allah is the Creator, who brings into being from nothing. He is endowed with the most perfect attributes. Therefore, Allah's word is flawless and complete. Created beings, however, are deficient and fallible. So whoever follows the Quran, the word of Allah, and its verses attains salvation. The Quran guides man to the most upright path. It brings him closer to Allah, who created the worlds.
It wins him Allah's pleasure and leads man in the Hereafter to salvation and victory. How will the Holy Quran bring him there?
Allah Almighty created man honored above the worlds when He created him. By giving man of His spirit, man was made honored above the worlds. Thus Allah Almighty made only man His addressee. Thus there is no being more honored and exalted than man. So if a person whom Allah created in this way, a person He made His addressee, a person He loves most, goes and adorns himself with deeds Allah does not want, of course this neither pleases Allah nor befits that person. So if a person loves his Lord, as the Prophet said, You, take on the character of Allah – when he says this, man cleanses the evils in his nafs, removes from his heart all that is other than Allah, and puts Allah's light in its place, and with this conduct man will certainly draw closer to Allah.
(?) You say it, and I will give it to you, He says, and raises His servant in His own Being. So if man abides by the verses of the Quran,
he will have found, on the Sirat al-Mustaqim, the most upright path in Islam, which accords with Allah's purpose in creating. Meanwhile, since man was created imperfect, the small mistakes he makes, because he is repentant and because he fits the purpose of creation, Allah Almighty forgives them. What does He say? If you had never committed any mistake in the world, We would destroy you and create servants who make mistakes, He says. That is, Allah does not create a being equal to Himself. So people will make mistakes, turn back and say: O Allah, I erred in this, I made a mistake, forgive me. When he says this: Here is My servant, He says, he asked Me for forgiveness, he knew his helplessness, and I have forgiven you, says Allah Almighty.
So people bound by the verses submit in the best way to Allah's commands, and the Paradise our Lord gave glad tidings of they seek.
To attain this salvation, he gives up the desires of the nafs. He is freed from all that is other than Allah in his heart. The believers who persist in obedience and worship and seek Allah's pleasure with good, virtuous deeds – Allah Almighty gives them glad tidings with His verses in the Holy Quran and tells such believers that there are great rewards for them. Blessed are such people, and those who abide by the verses and are bound to their Lord with all their heart.
