Translation

Your Lord knows best that which is in your hearts. If you are among the righteous, know that Allah is Ghafoor (Most Forgiving) towards those who repent (and turn away from evil).

Tafsir

Allah knows what is in the hearts. He knows the secrets of hearts. Because Allah, who created man out of nothing, who gave him a part of His own soul, who made a covenant with man and wrote his intentions as destiny, knows what is in man's heart better than man himself.

If a person turns towards good, forbids evil, chooses the path of guidance, and when he sees that his evil deeds do not benefit him, he turns to Allah (swt) and repents for the sins he committed in his ignorance, then Allah (swt) is All-Forgiving, All-Merciful. One finds Allah very merciful and forgiving.

What is said in the video

"Your Lord knows best what is in your hearts. If you are good, that is, if you are good, know that Allah, toward those who turn away from evil and turn to repentance, is most forgiving."

Here, in one sense: in a period of ignorance you may have done evil, you may have betrayed your mother and father with bad words, or you may have treated people mercilessly, disregarded right and law, but in the end: O my great Lord, Owner of the worlds, I have understood that besides You there is no door to go to. I lived through a period of ignorance. But now I have understood how bad the evils I did were, and what punishment I would face in Your presence. Since I have no door to go to but You, and since You readily accept repentance, from now on I promise: I will never do evil again. I will treat my mother and father well.

I will do good to people as much as I can. However much my own interest came first, I will also look after the interests of people; if you promise Allah this, We will turn even your past sins into good deeds, He says. Yes.

Allah Almighty knows what passes through hearts. He knows the secrets of hearts. Because the One who created man from nothing, gave him a part of His own spirit, made a covenant with man and wrote His will for man as destiny, Allah, knows what is in a person's heart better than the person himself. If a person turns to good, refrains from evil and chooses the path of guidance, when he sees that the evil he did brought him no benefit, and, for the sins committed in his period of ignorance, turns his face to Allah Almighty and repents, Allah is Forgiving, Merciful. A person finds Allah most merciful and forgiving.
