Al-Isra 33: Do not kill a person – Allah has created honorable – without a justified reason. If a person is killed by oppression, We have given permission to the guardian (to claim his right). But that guardian should not go too far in retaliation because (by being given this right) he has taken what’s there for him.

Do not kill a person – Allah has created honorable – without a justified reason. If a person is killed by oppression, We have given permission to the guardian (to claim his right). But that guardian should not go too far in retaliation because (by being given this right) he has taken what’s there for him.
Tafsir
Allah (swt) has created human beings with honor and created each and every human being to obey Him. Having made a covenant with man, Allah has sent man to the realm of property to fulfill His covenant and to be a witness against Allah. In this situation, no one can kill another person without just cause. He has no such authority. Whether a person is a pagan or a Mohammedan, a practicing Muslim or an irreligious person, no matter what he is, he cannot take a life that Allah has made sacred without just cause.
What is a just cause? A state has declared war against another state. It has attacked the territorial integrity, freedom and life of that state. Here, in order to protect your state and nation, you can fight back against the aggressors and kill them. Or a person covets your life and intends to kill you. In this case, you can kill him to protect your life. A human being cannot kill another human being unless there is a very justifiable reason like this.
If a person is killed unjustly, if a person kills a person unjustly, then whoever is the guardian of the deceased, the mother or father or brothers or sisters or children or wife, whoever is closest to the deceased, Allah gives that person the authority over the murderer. He can impose retaliation. The person who receives this authorization must not exceed the limit and commit transgression. He has already received what he is entitled to. Life for life; in other words, he has taken what he will get by having the murderer's life slaughtered instead of the life.
What is said in the video
Surah Al-Isra, verse 33 Unless there is a just cause, do not take the life Allah has made sacred. What is a just cause, a just cause? It is again Allah Almighty's command. A man committed adultery; he will be stoned. Yes. Or else a man is killing you. (?) to protect your religion, your homeland, your honour, your nation is a just cause. Of course you will kill.
Unless there is a just cause, do not take the life Allah has made sacred. Here too there are many meanings. Why did Allah Almighty send us to this world of mulk?
In an unseen world, a world where His Being is not seen, did you think you would die without proving what kind of person you are? According to this verse, every person at Qalu Bala had the script of the covenant he gave to Allah Almighty written. Here he plays that script as an actor. So everyone will prove what kind of person they are. You cannot just kill a man for no reason. Because he too will prove what kind of person he is. In that case, we will be called to account by Allah. Yes. Unless there is a just cause, do not take the life Allah has made sacred. If someone is killed unjustly, We have given his next of kin authority to claim his right.
For example, you came and killed me.
Then the authority, under the Sharia ruling: you too will kill me. He gives authority to you, to (?), that is, to his authorized one. But if you wish, you can forgive me. The authority is yours. Then the one who killed is obliged to make a donation to the side of the deceased, so that sincere relations may arise between them and the blood feud may end. Yes, we read this part again. If someone is killed unjustly, We have given his next of kin authority to claim his right. But let this next of kin not go too far in retaliation. That is, let him not, insisting 'I will have retaliation for this no matter what', pursue retaliation out of feelings of the nafs, but if he does, retaliation for retaliation.
He will apply the Sharia ruling, but there is meaning in 'let him not go too far in retaliation'. Let him not kill by doing injustice. There is also injustice: there is killing under torture. So how will you kill, then? There are legal ways for that too. With the sword, by having his head struck off. Yes, by being given this authority he has already received what was due to him — how beautifully Allah Almighty puts it. Allah Almighty created people honourable, and created each person to obey Him. Allah, who made a covenant with people, sent man to the world of mulk to act out his own covenant and to make himself a witness before Allah; so in this case no one, unless there is a just cause, may kill anyone, nor has he such authority; whether a person is an idolater, a Zoroastrian, a religious Muslim, or irreligious, whatever he may be, unless there is a just cause no one may take a life Allah has made sacred. What is a just cause?
One state has declared war on another state. It has attacked that state's territorial integrity, freedom and life. Here, to protect your state and nation, you can resist the aggressors and kill them. Or a person has set his eye on your life, has set out to kill you. At such a time, by way of protecting your life, you can kill him. Unless there is a very just cause like this, a person cannot kill a person. If someone is killed un-, unjustly, if a person wrongfully kills a person, then here
the next of kin of the deceased, the mother or the father or the siblings or the children or the wife, whoever is closest — Allah gives this person, regarding the killer, authority. He may apply retaliation. The person who receives this authority must not overstep the limit and must not commit aggression. By being given the authority, he has already received what is due to him. A life for a life — that is, by having the killer's life taken in place of the life, he has received what is due to him. Yes.
