Do not pursue something about which you do not possess knowledge. Certainly, the ears, the eyes, and the heart are all responsible for that.
Tafsir
Some people love to assert themselves. Especially the ego does not want to put dust on itself. If a person says something that he has no knowledge about, as if it were true, it puts him under suspicion.
In case the other person does not know this, he wants to know. When you tell the wrong thing that you have said to the other person as if it is right, and you drag that person into wrongdoing, it will earn you a sin. And then your eyes, ears and heart testify to what you say.
On the Day of Judgment, when people are resurrected as bodies (when you come with a driver), our bodies will testify to our souls in the presence of Allah (swt) and report what we did in the world.
What is said in the video
Surah Al-Isra, verse 36. Do not pursue that of which you have no knowledge. For the ear, the eye and the heart, all of these are responsible for it. Now, how beautifully the verses show us a straight path. They colour our life, if we abide by the verses. And each of us, in this deceptive world, will have an honourable life and go to Allah's presence by carrying out His command. Look what it is: do not pursue that of which you have no knowledge. That is, to dig a pit for someone, "what did he say, what did she say" – do not say that. Do not gossip and backbite among them. Do not talk against people you know nothing about, saying "he said this, he said that".
For everyone is responsible for it in his eyes, his ears and his heart.
"When you come into My presence with a driver," says Allah Almighty – the driver is our body – "We will," He says, "silence your mouths, bind your feet and make your hands speak." And the body will speak for or against the soul. Then the eye will tell what it saw, the ear what it heard, and the heart will tell of its life: "He made me do this, this and this."
All the tricks you have played will come out there.
Here a person may get his trickery, his wicked schemes or the evil he will do to people past people's doors. But when he comes to Allah's door, he hits a wall and stops. So you must order your life not by the wicked schemes you get past people's doors, but by the account you will give to Allah. If you turn to ordering it this way, you are cut off from lies and become an upright person. Yes.
Some people love making claims very much. Especially the nafs does not want any dust to settle on itself. If a person tells someone something he has no knowledge of as if it were true, it puts him under blame.
Perhaps the other person does not know it and wants to learn. Your telling that person the wrong thing you said as if it were true, leading that person into errors and dragging him along, earns you sin. And then your eyes, your ears and your heart are (?) to what you said.
When I write this like this, a verse comes to my mind.
"Without having knowledge," it says, "following every rebellious devil," it says. Do not speak by following every rebellious devil. Without knowledge. On the Day of Resurrection, when people are raised again as bodies, "you, with a driver, when you come" – according to that verse, our bodies, for our souls, in the presence of Allah Almighty, will bear witness and tell of what we did in the world. No one will remain unaccountable for an atom's weight of good and an atom's weight of evil he did in the world. Surely Allah Almighty records the good and evil people have done, an atom's weight and an atom's weight of good and evil.
Tomorrow, on the Day of Resurrection, when we stand before our Lord, when it is said "read your record", our Lord says: "Alas!" Man will say so, He says. "Alas! (?) has been written down in my record," he will say. In this case, a person, by what he did, will be called to account; with his good deeds and sins, before our Lord, by our Lord, the Judge of judges, he will either be rewarded, or, to suffer punishment, he will enter Hell, which He calls "what an evil place of return". Allah forbid. May Allah protect us all from such a course.
