(Oh you idolaters!) Did your Lord choose sons for you and adopted angels as daughters for Allah? Verily, you are saying a word (the severe consequences of which are great).
Tafsir
Those who ascribe partners to Allah and call the angels His daughters, ascribing shortcomings to Allah (swt), do not use their intellect, but judge according to what their own souls like. Shaytan also makes his judgments look good to such people. With the seduction he has given them, these people call the angels the daughters of Allah and attribute them to Allah.
In this case, Allah (swt) warns that such a thing will not happen and that He will punish those who speak in this way, especially among people, saying, "Did Allah create males for humans and angels for females and reserve them for Himself? Allah (swt) warns those who are of this mentality, people who believe in this way, by saying that you are saying a word that has a very big penalty.
Those who say that angels are the daughters of Allah will be punished with the harshest punishment in the Hereafter, on that day of reckoning, and those who accuse the angels, who are innocent, who only perform the duties assigned to them, of crimes, and those who generalize them according to their minds, and those who say that they are the daughters of Allah, will be punished severely, as they also accuse the angels unjustly.

O polytheists! Has your Lord singled out sons for you and Himself taken daughters from among the angels? Truly, you are saying a word whose burden is very grave, it says.
Those who do not know what angels are, who have turned their back on Allah, who toward our Lord are deniers, these polytheists, those who associate partners with Allah – they made the angels daughters. They attributed them to Allah. And the males to themselves. Indeed, Allah Almighty says this in a verse. "Are the daughters Mine," He says, "and the sons yours?" "If so, that is a very unfair division," He says. Yes, that is an unfair division.

Those who associate partners with Allah, who, ascribing attributes to Allah Almighty, call the angels daughters – such people judge, without using their reason, by what their own nafs likes. And Satan makes their judgements look adorned to such people. With the temptation he gives them, these people call the angels Allah's daughters, call them Allah's attributes.
Yet the angels were created from light. They are sexless, the angels. They have no nafs. On the duties given they carry on without tiring, without wearying. Without tiring and without wearying. They are just like the robots people make. However you program robots, that is what they do. Allah Almighty has created the living kind. We make robots, the lifeless kind. Allah Almighty, the living kind. Angels are living. They carry out the duties given. In this case, they can never, ever step out of the duties given to them. Because they are programmed accordingly, because they cannot step outside the program, Allah Almighty, look, that they are sexless and without nafs, that without tiring of anything, without wearying, they will do things – how beautifully He tells us.
In this case, the Holy Quran too, they – that is, the Quran was written by the pure and clean hands of the angels, it says. In the Preserved Tablet. His saying this, His saying this – perhaps you could deny the Quran (?). "Look, he wrote this like this, too. You could have written it (?)." You might say. By also taking the angels as witnesses: with their pure and clean hands it was written. That is, since the angels can in no way step outside Allah's command, since they will carry out the duty given – with His making known that they are sexless and without nafs and will not step outside His command – these angels as Allah's wives or daughters or children, how do you (?) them?
Those who associate partners with Allah, who, ascribing attributes to Allah Almighty, call the angels daughters – such people judge, without using their reason, by what their nafs likes. And Satan makes their judgements look adorned to such people; with the temptation he gives them these people call the angels Allah's daughters, ascribe them to Allah as attributes. In this case, Allah Almighty, (?) that such a thing cannot be, and among people making known that He will greatly punish those who talk this way – "Did Allah create the males, and for people the angels, the females, and set them apart for Himself?
Truly, you are saying a word whose burden is very grave" – by saying this, a mindset, those of this mindset, people who believe this way, Allah Almighty warns. He warns. If you go on with this, you wrong your own nafs and become one of the people of Hell forever. The Word of Allah Almighty is based on letters.
Allah Almighty is self-subsisting.
There is the name Hu. Hu. For example, He says lâ ilâhe illâ Hû. Look how beautiful. What does this mean? There is no god but Allah. None. How do we know? But He is self-subsisting, it says. There is the Hu at the end, right. Self-subsisting. So, the One who is self-subsisting, that is, who exists, whom no one created, not created by anyone, neither (?) nor begetting, a source of knowledge, a being – if man presents our holy Lord as being in need of what He created, has he not fallen into great shirk? Has he not fallen into a great sin?
