Tafsir
Those who attribute crimes to Allah, who say that Allah is three, who say that Uzeyr and Jesus are the sons of Allah, who say that angels are the daughters of Allah, Allah has given various examples and parables in the Holy Qur'an.
He explained how tribes perished by giving them examples in a way that every human mind could understand. By giving warnings to people, He has proved that there is no other God but Himself. Against those who disbelieve in Allah and associate partners with Allah, and also against those who say that angels are daughters of Allah, Allah (swt), by declaring that there is no other deity besides Him, that He does not need anything, and by introducing Him to people in a way that every human mind can comprehend, and by bringing parables and examples, has placed all the responsibility and accountability on people.
However, the more Allah (swt) invited people to Him, the more compassionate and merciful and forgiving He was, the more people turned away from Him. They continued to disbelieve in Allah, almost competing with each other in doing the opposite of what Allah had said and in opposing Allah. That is why Allah (swt) said, "It does nothing but make them run away from Allah. A question may arise here. Allah is free from imperfect attributes. Why does He address these people with His Verses if His Verses would not have any effect on them? In reply, we say that Allah is free from imperfect attributes. In the first sense, He says, I will not call anyone to account for what I have not announced. So, in order to hold such people to account, He announces His Verses to all people without discrimination in the realm of the unseen.
Another meaning is that when every human being made a covenant with Allah in Kalu Bela, Allah wrote down what He intended from Allah as destiny for human beings. When these people made a covenant with Allah, they did not want to believe because they saw Allah close to them in human form. Therefore, they disbelieved in Allah (swt). In this case, Allah sent people to the realm of property, which is the realm of the unseen, so that His Essence would be known unseen. Knowing that those who rebel against Allah there will also rebel against Allah here, Allah introduces His Essence to mankind through all kinds of similes and examples, without discriminating against people, so that people can be judged responsible.
Unfortunately, those who disbelieved in Allah in the past, and dictated their desires and wishes to themselves as fate, continue to disbelieve in Allah in this world. In this way, they will have no evidence to accuse Allah on the Day of Reckoning, nor will they have an iota of justification. Therefore, not only do Allah's Verses have no effect on these people, but they also increase their disbelief. They are constantly moving away from Allah. This is why Allah (swt) says in one of His Verses (The Qur'an increases the believer's faith and the disbeliever's disbelief).
What is said in the video
Surah Al-Isra, verse 41.
So that they may come to their senses, in this Quran We have repeated various warnings and admonitions in different ways, He says. In different ways. Now, the verses always confirm one another. As you know, Allah Almighty says: so that people may understand this Quran better, We do not refrain from giving the simile of a mosquito and what is greater, He says. How beautiful. What does He say here? So that they may come to their senses, in this Quran We have repeated various warnings and admonitions in different ways, He says. So the Quran is at the same time a dhikr. Dhikr in two senses. One: Allah Almighty, so that everyone from the most ignorant to the most learned can understand His word, has in the Quran held a light before people.
Two: because it is a book read again and again, it means dhikr. But this brings them nothing but fleeing further away, He says. True.
One of our children also says: when I listen to hadith, people come to me, but (?). Then they run off, he says. Isn't that so? It is.
This means the word of the Truth weighs heavily on the human nafs.
If the human nafs goes along with the world, Satan and matter, what will this person do? He will move away from the Truth. From the Truth. Where the Truth is, he will feel bored and oppressed. He will turn right back. But if you tell this man, we're putting on a play here, he comes running. If someone tells him: here they're handing out money to you, for free, he comes running. All the traits that will put his nafs into torment and all kinds of suffering seem pleasant to him in the worldly realm. But the wealth of the true homeland, the realm of the hereafter, that will remain forever seems beneath him here.
In this case, because this person does not use his reason, he turns into a bankrupt merchant.
Yes, the verse we read once more: so that they may come to their senses, in this Quran We have repeated various warnings and admonitions in different ways, but this brings them nothing but fleeing further away, says Allah Almighty. How beautifully He says it. We are living these things, I mean we see them. The heart wished that we would not see this, that each of us would carry the other on our backs. That we would lose each other's faults in ourselves. That, gathering up the friends of the straight path along the way, well, we would also carry on our backs those who go staggering. That we would all appear before our Lord supporting one another.
That is what the heart wanted. But we see that now kufr has begun to prevail over the Truth. Kufr. And within this kufr those who live the truth have slowly begun to withdraw.
To those who attribute fault to Allah Almighty, those who say Allah is three, those who say Ezra and Jesus are the sons of Allah, those who say the angels are Allah's daughters, Allah Almighty in the Holy Quran has brought various examples and encouragements. Giving them examples in a way every human mind can understand, He told how peoples were destroyed. The people of Lot for homosexuality, the people of Salih for denying the camel, the people of Noah for not believing in the prophet, Pharaoh for opposing Moses, for oppressing the people of Israel; these people who crossed the lines were destroyed.
Yes, Allah Almighty has given people examples like this too. By warning people, He has proven that there is no other god besides Himself. To those who deny Allah and ascribe partners to Allah, making known that there is no other god besides Himself, that He needs nothing, introducing Himself to people in a way every human mind can grasp, bringing encouragements and examples, He has placed all accountability and responsibility on people. Yes.
If man, man, had used his reason, for reason was created to know its Lord. If in this way Allah Almighty had created reason as knowing Allah, our Lord would be charged with fault. Man would say: the reason You gave me was lacking, I could not know You. But today, if every mind,
without looking around at all, turned to itself and considered what kind of being, what kind of mechanism it is, it would find Allah within itself. It would know the Owner of the worlds and try to be His servant.
It is clear that this whole universe was created by a Creator, and that with that power and might this world stands.
Indeed, when Allah Almighty says in Surah An-Nur, Allahu nûru's-semâvâti ve'l-ard, He says Allah is the light of the heavens and the earth. The light of the heavens and the earth. What is this? When He says of the heavens and the earth, He tells us that He created this universe with knowledge and that this universe found life through knowledge, and that this was only by a power, a might, a Creator, with a knowledge that will complete the (?) of these worlds to the end, that it was created this way; this He makes known to us. We, He says, created these, and what We created We created firmly, firmly. You will spoil it with your own hands, He says.
Yes.
How are we going to spoil this universe with our own hands?
How are we going to spoil what Allah created firmly?
If you go around laughing,
if you don't wash, if you smell bad, you use lotion. Lotions pierce the ozone layer. The sun's first (?) wipe out the (?) at the North Pole.
In that case the earth turns around its own axis less and less every year. Through the opened, torn ozone layer the glaciers of the icy seas melt, the waters rise. And finally the earth's rotation around its own axis reaches zero. Who did this? We did it ourselves, with our hands. In that case the sun sets in the west, rises in the west, starts turning backwards, and then the earth, when it starts spinning fast and unrestrained around its own axis, Allah Almighty in His verse says it so beautifully: when the mountains pass like clouds, when the seas swell, when the earth throws out what is inside it. How will it throw it out?
Because of the centrifugal force, when it reaches a certain point it will burst. How will the seas swell? When the earth's magma flow comes out from beneath the seas, of course the seas will swell too. When the sky flows like molten metal, of course it is ruined; everything in the heavens is ruined. When everything flows fast, from the friction everything will start to burn. It will start to melt. There, the Last Day has come. How else should Allah Almighty say it? Yes, so every person knows that this created universe has a Creator. In that case, if he, despite knowing his Lord with this reason, turns his back, he falls into the state of having knowingly denied Allah, and Allah Almighty in His verse calls them lying unbelievers.
What does He say? He says it. Lying unbelievers.
Yes. Alright. I want to remind you of one more thing.
We are human, aren't we? There are also human rights. They have courts. Human rights courts.
Believe me, those judges in the human rights court, without their knowing it, need a judge to judge over them. If you are a judge, if you protect human rights, Allah gives you so many blessings. He feeds you. He gives you drink. He gives you health and well-being in the world. You turn your back on so many blessings given to you, and then you talk about human rights. Shame on you. Shame. Truly, shame. Is there any human right left here anymore? Which court will you go to and protect human rights? Yes.
If people knew the beauty of Islam, they would wage war on us to take it from us.
Giving them examples in a (?) way for every human mind, He told how the peoples were destroyed. By warning people, He has proven that there is no other god besides Himself.
Against those who deny Allah and ascribe partners to Allah, and also against those who say the angels are Allah's daughters, who speak this way, Allah Almighty, by making known that there is no other god besides Himself, that He needs nothing, by introducing Himself to people in a way every human mind can grasp, and by bringing encouragements and examples, has placed all accountability and responsibility on people.
But although Allah Almighty invited people to Himself and made known how compassionate and merciful and forgiving He is, people in return moved that much further away from Allah.
Yes. In doing the opposite of what Allah said and in opposing Allah, as if racing one another, they went on denying Allah. That is why Allah Almighty says this did them no good except fleeing away. Here this question may also come to mind: Allah is free of deficient attributes; since His verses would not affect people, why does He address these people with His verses? Can that come to mind? It can, right. Yes. Yes, in answer we say: Allah is free of deficient attributes. In the first sense, He declares that He calls no one to account for a matter He has not made known. So, in order to be able to call such people to account, in the unseen realm He makes His verses heard to all people without distinction.
In another sense, to every person: when every person at Qalu Bala, with Allah, made the covenant, when these people made the covenant with Allah, since they saw Allah Almighty in human form, close to them, they did not want to believe. For this reason they also denied Allah Almighty. In that case, by sending people to the realm of mulk, which is the unseen realm, Allah willed that His Self be known unseen. There, Allah, knowing that those who rebelled against Allah there would rebel against Allah here too, without making distinction among people, so that people can be held to the responsibility, Allah, with every kind of encouragement and example, has made Himself known to people in this unseen realm.
Now, to man, at that address Elestü bi-Rabbiküm, "you denied Me, to hell; you are a Muslim, by your rank to this paradise, this paradise, this paradise," He could have said. He would have, I mean. Because He knows what we are.
But what would people say? How was I to know You were Allah? You should have sent me to an unseen realm and made Yourself known. Look how well I would have worshipped You there, he says. He says.
We read this all the time. Bring my phone from inside, let me see, my phone, look. We always say it. Before this, He says. That is, before the Quran. Before the Quran. We... There it is. Look inside the thing. Pull the drawer, that thing. Yes.
Look what it says here. In Surah Al-Ahzab, probably. It seems so to me.
Yes. Surah Al-Qasas, verse 47, and 134, verse: when a calamity befalls them because of what they themselves have done, "Our Lord, if only You had sent us a prophet, so that we would follow Your verses and be among the believers"; if they were not going to say this, We would not have sent you. That is, We would not have created these worlds nor sent you as a prophet, if they had not said this. Where? At that address, Elestü bi-Rabbiküm. We would have settled your account right there. But since Allah Almighty is free of deficient attributes, He creates the unseen realm and brings people into the world.
So that no created being may question Allah or call Him to account over Allah's divine attributes, He has all events created, and before Allah Almighty people, heads bowed, however much they may be (?), even if they throw themselves face down on the ground, will end up in hell.
In Surah Ta-Ha, verse 134: if We had destroyed them before this, before the Quran, even with a (?), He says; that is, by before the Quran He means: since the Torah, (?) and the Gospel are in the Quran, if We had destroyed you before bringing you into the world, He says. Yes. They would certainly have said this: O Lord, if only You had sent us a messenger, then (?). Before that, we would have followed Your verses. They would have said. Well, now, here
there is a verse too.
Surah As-Sajdah, verse 12: despite their going into the Presence, now there in the Presence, in the Presence of their Lord, bowing their heads: "Our Lord, we have seen the truth, we have heard and listened; now send us back to the world so that we may do righteous deeds; we now firmly believe." If only you could see the time they say this, He says. Well, why doesn't Allah send the wrongdoer back? As long as he has those characters, he will (?) again. He will come into the world again. He will do the same deed again. Is there a verse? There is. What does it say? Even if We sent you into the world not once, He says, but several more times, you would again do the same thing.
Yes.
In another sense we have said this thing, we have said the verse, we have said the meaning. Since they saw Allah Almighty in human form, close to them, they did not want to believe. For this reason they also denied Allah Almighty. In that case, by sending people to the realm of mulk, which is the unseen realm, Allah willed that His Self be known unseen. There, Allah, knowing that those who rebelled against Allah there would rebel against Allah here too, without making distinction among people, so that people can be held to the responsibility, Allah has made Himself known to people with every kind of encouragement and example.
Yes. Unfortunately, those who denied Allah before, who had their desires and wishes written for them as destiny, go on denying Allah in the worldly realm too. Thus on that Day of Reckoning they will have no proof to (?) Allah, nor even an atom's worth of any respect in which they are right. For this reason, not only do Allah's verses not affect these people, they also increase their unbelief. Is there a verse here? There is. The Quran increases the believer's faith and the unbeliever's unbelief. Yes. These writings are all the counterparts of the verses anyway.
They continually move away from Allah. That is why Allah Almighty declares in this verse: the Quran increases the believer's faith and the unbeliever's unbelief. Yes.
