Translation

When you read the Qur’an, a veil to hide you, is put between you and the ones who don’t believe in the hereafter.

Tafsir

When the Qur'an is recited, the eloquence and eloquence of the Qur'an, the authority and the recitation of the Qur'an bores them because their ears are blocked against the Truth. They do not want to hear the Word of Truth. Because these are the people who disbelieved in Allah in the past (kalu bela). Since their desires and wishes are destined for them, when they come to the realm of property, they have the same feelings and thoughts, so they rebel against everything that comes from Allah, and when the Qur'an is recited, they do not understand anything from the Qur'an and walk away from it in boredom. How beautifully Allah (swt) declares this state of them. Those who do not believe in the Hereafter have a veil of hatred in their hearts when the Qur'an is recited, because of their selfish rebellion against Allah and their lack of recognition of Him among the polytheists and disbelievers. Since they will not be able to enter Paradise in this state, Allah says: There is a veil between those who do not believe in the Hereafter.

These are the people who cannot benefit from the light of the Qur'an, who do not like the paths shown by Allah, who act on their own egoistic feelings, who follow every stubborn devil. They are those who follow tagut. These people, because of their rebellion against Allah, have turned their backs on the Qur'an, even though the true Word of Allah invites them to Paradise, so there is a veil of invisible hatred between them and Paradise, hidden in their souls.

When the Qur'an is recited, reverence for the Qur'an is obedience and respect for Allah. People who listen to the Qur'an are those who submit to the Truth. They are the ones who earn the Hereafter by following the right path that Allah has shown them. Listening to the Qur'an prepares these people for the Hereafter and they will continue on the right path. There is no veil between them and the Hereafter so that they can attain the promised paradise, but only the soul's taste of death and its recourse to Allah (swt) to attain the blessings of paradise.

What is said in the video

Verse 45 in Surah Al-Isra has been rendered like this.

When you recite the Quran, between you and those who do not believe in the hereafter We draw a concealing veil, it says.

Can this be? Allah Almighty would send the Quran to the worlds. He would send the Quran to the worlds, and when the Quran is recited: no, you don't listen, Allah Almighty would draw a concealing curtain. Look, what kind of understanding is this, what kind of comprehension, what kind of Arabic, what kind of accusing Allah.

This is not Arabic, not Arabic. Reading it backwards, backwards. Because Allah Almighty says: so that My word is better understood, We sent the Quran down in the Arabic language. If, according to this verse of Allah Almighty, the Arabic language is this backwards, then Allah made (?) in His word. So the people who say "I know Arabic", "in Arabic this means this" are people ignorant of the letter A of Arabic, people who, with the feelings of the nafs, set out to ascribe attributes to Allah. Yes. If that person had a little conscience, conscience, he would not object like this to Allah Almighty, who sent the Quran to the worlds.

Let's say,

let a person judge by himself, by himself. God forbid, such a thing cannot be. I am Allah. Accept it like that. I mean, let everyone say to himself, I am Allah.

Let him send his book to all people. Send it to those he created. So that they know me. And then have the Quran read. And draw a curtain between them. Well, would someone with reason believe this? Would he believe this? Can there be such a mind? Can there be such a verse? Can one so treacherously ascribe such attributes to Allah? Let's read it once more. Look what it says. When the Quran is recited, between you and those who do not believe in the hereafter We draw a concealing veil, it says. Now look at that. Whereas in this verse it says: when the Quran is recited, for those who turn their backs on the Quran a concealing veil is drawn between you and those who do not believe in the hereafter.

A concealing veil is drawn. Who draws it? Between those who do not believe in the hereafter, those who turn their backs and walk away, you know, a veil is drawn. They draw it, they themselves draw it. They draw a concealing veil. And verse 46 as well, anyway. What does it say there? Also, so that they do not understand it, We place a covering, a closedness, over their hearts and a heaviness in their ears. So look. Yes. Hateme'llâhu alâ kulûbihim ve alâ sem'ihim ve alâ ebsârihim gışâvetun ve lehum azâbun azîm. They have (?) this verse too. They have made this verse fit it too.

They make their eyes blind to the truth, stop up their ears, and We seal their hearts against them. They have their hearts sealed themselves. If their desires, wishes and aims have become their destiny, if Allah Almighty has in no way interfered with their destiny, did Allah have them sealed, or did they have them sealed? Of course man had them sealed according to his own desire. That is the verse they tried to make fit. So that they do not understand it, so that they do not understand it, We place a closedness over their hearts and in their ears a heaviness. When you mention the oneness of your Lord in the Quran, they, in a weary (?), turn right back and go away.

Whereas the meaning of this verse is: moreover, so that they do not understand it, their hearts are closed and in their ears there is heaviness. When you mention the oneness of your Lord in the Quran, they, in a weary (?), turn right back and go away, it says.

Look, we read that part once more: moreover, so that they do not understand it. Who? People. Their hearts are closed and in their ears there is heaviness. Why is my heart closed, why is there heaviness? I made a covenant with my Lord; according to my covenant He gave me my destiny. Allah, among His servants, is not to be charged with fault, that is, He did not create them that way; He wrote their own desire and wish for them as destiny, everyone's aim became his destiny. In this case Allah Almighty, look, on earth, even though so much Muslim blood is shed, even though there is so much injustice, according to the verse "Did you think you would die without proving what kind of people you are?", removes no one's own will, that is, He does not remove man's will to use His own will over man.

Whatever each person did in this world, in the hereafter, whatever aim he has, whatever characters he had written for himself, whatever destiny he has, however he had his script written, that he will carry out here. Allah Almighty interferes with none of them. He does not interfere at all. Is there no case of His interfering? There is. Well then, if He interferes, doesn't He remove the will? Not in that sense. Which sense? If I were to suffer a (?) outside my destiny, outside my destiny, that is the proof of the verse "you are protected by unknown beings". Yes. No... I will not have an accident up to 70 years, 80 years outside my destiny. No event at all will happen.

I am protected by them. This is Allah's duty. Up to that age He will have what kind of person I am proven by me. If we do not know the verses, we cannot solve these. Yes. So verse 45 is like this: when the Quran is recited, when you recite the Quran, for those who turn their backs on the Quran, between you and those who do not believe in the hereafter a concealing veil is drawn. Those who deny Allah, and the polytheists and unbelievers who do not believe in the hereafter, since their ears are (?) against the truth, when the Quran is recited, the eloquence and fluency of the Holy Quran, its melody and recitation, weigh on them.

They do not want to hear the word of Truth. Because these are people who denied Allah before, at Qalu Bala. Since their desires and wishes were written for them as destiny, when they come to the realm of mulk they still have the same feelings and thoughts; so, just as they rebel against everything that comes from Allah, when the Quran is recited they understand nothing of the Quran. And they leave there, irritated.

Do you know what this resembles?

Let's liken the Quran, the Quran, to salt. And let's liken man to a cut wound.

If you sprinkle salt on that wound, what happens? It stings, doesn't it? It stings, the person feels pain. And he cleans it, to be rid of that thing, to be rid of the pain. So the Quran gives the person who goes against Allah, who rebels, such a pain. And that person, falling into distress amid the feelings of the nafs, just like clouds in the sky about to burst, gets away from there and leaves.

When He says it increased the believer's faith: when verses are recited, his heart trembles when Allah is mentioned, and tears come from his eyes. Out of his (?) toward Allah, out of his love. Now compare the condition of the two people. Yes.

Allah Almighty so beautifully declares these states of theirs. Of those who do not believe in the hereafter, when the Quran is recited, among the polytheists and unbelievers, because of the rebellions of their nafs against Allah and their not knowing Him, in their hearts there are curtains of spite and hatred. Since in this state they cannot enter paradise, Allah Almighty declares that there is a hidden curtain among those who do not believe in the hereafter. A hidden curtain. What is it? Because of their rebellion against Allah; this is not a hidden curtain anyway. Because of their rebellion against Allah, the feelings of spite and hatred in them.

Against the Truth. Otherwise no curtain is drawn here as we know it. Yes. These are people who cannot benefit from the light of the Quran, who do not like the paths Allah has shown, who act on the feelings of their nafs, who follow every stubborn devil. They are those who run after Taghut. These people, because of their rebellion against Allah, although Allah's true word invites these people to paradise, because they turn their backs on the Quran, between paradise and them there are curtains of spite and hatred, hidden in their nafs and unseen. Yes.

We take a breath, (?). Yes.

We read verse forty-five, didn't we?

We continue with it. When the Quran is recited, reverence for the Quran is obedience and respect toward Allah. People who listen to the Quran are those who submit to the Truth. They are those who win the hereafter through the right path Allah has shown people. Their listening to the Quran prepares these people for the hereafter, and they continue on the right path without going astray. Between them and the hereafter, for reaching the promised paradises, there being no curtain at all, simply by the nafs tasting death they return to Allah Almighty and attain the blessings of paradise. Because they have no feelings of spite and hatred toward Allah Almighty.

When there is no such curtain, they are people who reach union with Allah directly, in the presence of their Lord. Yes.
