Translation
Oh sister of Aaron! Your father was not an evil man. And your mother was not depraved!”
Tafsir
Hadrat Maryam's people reproached Hadrat Maryam and said, "O sister of Aaron. The Aaron here is not Aaron, the brother of Hadrat Moses (peace be upon him). He should not be confused with him. Since Harun, the brother of Hadrat Maryam, was also a chaste and honorable person, they addressed Hadrat Maryam as "O sister of Harun".
By saying to Mary that your father was not a bad person and your mother was not unchaste, they are only accusing Mary of unchastity. They also emphasize that Mary's family was a very honorable family.
What is said in the video
We have come to Surah Maryam, verse 28.
O sister of Aaron! This Aaron is not the brother of Aaron. Yes. Aaron lived in the time of the Torah. Together with Moses.
Er, he is not the brother of Moses. He said to the brother of Moses. Give me Aaron as a helper too, give me my brother Aaron as a helper, they said. My tongue lisps a little, he would say.
And your mother was not unchaste, it says.
Your father was not a bad man. And your mother was not unchaste, it says.
That is, they are thoroughly insulting Mary. Mary's people, reproaching Mary, say: O sister of Aaron. The Aaron here is not Aaron, the brother of Moses (peace be upon him). We have written it anyway. He must not be confused with him. Since Aaron, Mary's brother, was also a chaste and honorable person, they addressed Mary as "O sister of Aaron." What does it say? O sister of Aaron. That is, Aaron, Mary's brother. Yes. By saying to Mary, "(?) a bad man, your father was not a bad man and your mother was not unchaste," they are simply accusing Mary of unchastity. Besides this, that Mary's family was a very honorable family, they emphasize.
Yes.
