It does not befit Allah to have children; Allah is Perfect, and exalted above these (needs). When Allah decides about a matter, just Commands, “Be it!” and it becomes!
Tafsir
Allah is One in His Essence. He has neither a son nor a wife. Allah is exempt from such events.
When Jesus spoke in swaddling clothes and was born without a father, people said that Jesus was the son of Allah and that Maryam was the wife of Allah and therefore Allah is three. Hasha Allah is exalted from such people speaking in this way.
Only when Allah wills something, He says, 'Be' and it becomes. The meaning of "become" here is not by letter or sound. It is Allah's creation by His power of knowledge.
As can be understood from this Verse, We only say, "Be" and it becomes. He also says this verse about Hazrat Jesus (peace be upon him). Allah (swt) intended to give birth to a fatherless human being. Allah (swt) brings into existence all the events that one can think of. In order to declare Allah's exclusive attributes, Allah willed, He said, "Be," and He created Jesus without a father. This creation did not happen immediately. It was made to depend on time. After a certain period of time in the womb in the guise of a body, he came into the world. This shows us that Allah is all-knowing, that He created everything with His knowledge and not with sounds and letters.
What is said in the video
We have come to Surah Maryam, verse 35.
For Allah to take a child is not something that can be, it says.
How beautiful. Verse 35. Allah has no need to take a child. He is Ahad, one. He neither begot nor was begotten. He has neither a wife nor a child. Surah Al-Ikhlas. Yes.
If Allah created this universe, brought it into being from nothing, from nothing, if He subsists by His own essence,
He has no need of family, children or anything. But see how man never gives up slander. He never gives up following every obstinate devil.
Just as the polytheists, saying the angels are Allah's daughters, slandered Allah about what they did not know, their descendants, the Abu Jahls of our time too, with slander machines producing slander, slander people, innocent people.
Yes.
Slander is a very bad thing.
And lying is the mother and father of all evils.
To the Prophet (peace be upon him) it says: your ummah will commit adultery, it says, you know. He is saddened.
Your ummah, it says, will also steal.
Your ummah lies, it says. (?) my ummah does not lie, he says. It does not lie. Lying is the mother and father of all evil. A thing that gathers all evils in itself. Unless he breaks away from lying, a person cannot reform his nafs.
With lies, a person protects his pride. Out of pride he resorts to lying. Out of arrogance he resorts to lying. For worldly blessings he resorts to lying. For glory and fame he resorts to lying. For the ego he resorts to lying. If you cannot cut out the root of this lying, you cannot easily reform your nafs. Yes.
Hazrat Mevlana says a beautiful word on this: either appear as you are or be as you appear, he says. Yes, a Muslim does not lie. A person of faith does not lie, he refrains from lying. So is there no lying at all on our tongue? There is, in one place: you may lie to reconcile husband and wife. To reconcile two enemies, you may lie.
That is, for good. For good. Apart from that you may not lie. Yes.
For Allah to take a child is not something that can be. So the Christian world calling Jesus the son of Allah and Allah with a child and (?) depicting and (?) Him, He is free from this, it says. Allah is free from this. I have no need of such a thing, He says. When I decree a matter, I only say to it "Be," and it is. Now, while writing this tafsir, note, I, the whatever is said in the previous verse, apparently I was writing this verse's translation there before even reading the verse. I noticed this later; the verses already complement each other like this. There, the "Be" was missing; apparently I hadn't read this.
Here He says it. Pay attention to the verses. The next one, the next one, and the ones after them, all confirming one another, go on. Allah Almighty is one in His essence. He has neither a child nor a wife. Allah is free from such things.
Because Jesus (peace be upon him) spoke in the cradle and came into the world without a father, people called Jesus the son of Allah, and about our mother Mary, that she is Allah's wife. And in this respect they said Allah is three. Allah protect us. Far be it! Allah, from such people talking like this, is free. Yes. Allah, when He wills a thing, only says to it "Be." And it is. The "Be" here is not in letters and sound. It is Allah Almighty creating by His knowledge and power. His creating. As is understood from this verse too: We only say "Be," and it is, He declares. He says this verse about Jesus (peace be upon him) too.
Allah Almighty's will is to bring a human into the world without a father. Allah Almighty makes manifest every event that can occur to the human mind. To declare that Allah is free of deficient attributes, Allah willed it. He said "Be" and created Jesus (peace be upon him) without a father. This creation did not happen at once. It was bound to time. After a certain time had passed in the mother's womb, in the garment of a body, he came into the world. This shows us that Allah is All-Knowing, that He created everything with His knowledge, not with sound and letters; that is what it shows.
Yes.
Today, in our age, don't they bring about births without a father? They do: test-tube babies. Without a father; it's not necessarily taking from Ahmet's loins that semen and putting it there.
They take it from someone else too and put it in. It becomes (?) child. If Allah Almighty created these genes, if our Lord created these sperm cells, is He incapable of placing a cell in the mother's womb, given that the soul is placed in it?
You put in (?), He puts it in with His knowledge.
In this case, there, the same cell, the same human comes (?). There is a much deeper subject here. Minds get confused; those matters are beyond you.
That is beyond you. That is why I am not talking about it. Yes.
Allah Almighty's will is to bring a human without a father into the world. Allah Almighty makes every event that can occur to the human mind manifest. To declare that Allah is free of deficient attributes, Allah willed it, said "Be," and created Jesus (peace be upon him) without a father. This creation did not happen at once. It was bound to time. After a certain time had passed in the mother's womb, in the garment of a body, he came into the world.
