Translation

(Oh My Messenger!) Warn them about the day of regret and sorrow because while they are in ignorance and while they did not believe, the matter is finished.

Tafsir

Warn those who ascribe partners to Allah, who say that Allah is three, that Uzeyr is the son of Allah, who deny the Hereafter, who do not accept the Prophethood of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), who do not enter Islam.

Allah (swt) is exalted from imperfect attributes. On the Day of Judgment, these people will say, O Allah! You did not warn us, we were in a realm where Your Essence was veiled and we could not recognize You. So that they would not say that You did not make us know Your Zat, Allah (swt) said to His Messenger in His verse: "O Messenger! You warn these people. Warn them of the severity and severity of that Day of sorrow and regret in the Hereafter, the Day of Reckoning, when their regrets will not avail them and they will realize that they will taste the torment of the Hereafter.

Because they are immersed in a state of heedlessness. In this state of heedlessness and delusion, before they realize how their lives have passed, death has come. Suddenly, the splendor of their worldly life, their reign as if they would never die, is gone, everything is taken away from them and they fall into nothingness. Just as a wind blows away the crops of a field of crops, or a flood or a landslide destroys a field of crops or a vineyard and turns it into rubbish, so these people will fall into nothingness in the Hereafter and will be deprived of Allah's mercy. For to Allah belongs sovereignty and existence. To Allah belongs the heavens and the earth and all that is between them.

Therefore, man must rely on Allah. As everything other than Allah has an end, so do beings belong to Allah. Only when man returns to Allah can he find life with Him.

What is said in the video

Surah Maryam, verse 39: My Messenger, you warn them about the Day of regret and sorrow.

Warn – let me read. You will (?) to me. Now. My Messenger, warn them about the Day of regret and sorrow. What does this mean? It describes the Day of Resurrection, the day of reckoning, Hodja. Bravo. Well done. (?). What does it say? Warn them about the Day of regret and sorrow. That is, when we pass from here to the hereafter – "alas" – at a time when it is of no use: "Send me once more. Send me to the world. Look how I will worship," he says – that time. For that time, warn them, it says. Yes. It would be better if we take it this way.

Now, if you pay attention, the verses always confirm one another. We do not call anyone to account for something We did not make heard, it says.

And this one, what does it say? Warn them about the Day of regret and sorrow. The verses always confirm one another. For while they are immersed in heedlessness and before they have believed, you look, and the matter is over.

Now this place has actually been interpreted wrongly.

A wrongly interpreted place. We probably passed over it this way too. Let's look here. There are in fact more places to be interpreted with us, but you know, we said roughly and did it this way. Well, can you tell me, in this verse, where is there a mistake? Hodja, it says: before you repent, death catches you. Whereas in this verse it is the opposite. Did you think you would die without proving what kind of person you are? How is the verse opposite? That part, I mean. Before repenting, it says, death catches you. It does say "while in heedlessness," Hodja. Whereas it is clear to everyone. That comes a little close, but not to the real meaning.

The word "yet." The part with the word "yet," sir – "yet," it says, "while you have not yet repented" – what meaning comes out there when it says "yet"? It was not a sense of uncertainty; there is a real meaning there. Look, what is the meaning? "While they have not yet believed," it says; so there were some who would believe too, but Allah did not give them time to believe and destroyed them; that is the meaning that comes out here. Yes. Surah Maryam, let's see, did we interpret it here? Maryam Surah, which verse? Verse 39. We, too, passed over it that way, we too. Note that, note it; those gaps we will fill.

Here it should be like this, because "while they have plunged into heedlessness," it says; Allah Almighty already knows that they are in heedlessness. Because they have plunged into heedlessness. In that heedlessness, the matter is over. In the heedlessness they remain in, the matter is over. That is, there is no believing for them either. Yes. Note – remind me of that place later.

Yes.

Those who ascribe partners to Allah, who say Allah is three, Ezra is Allah's son, those who deny the hereafter, those who do not accept the prophethood of the Prophet Muhammad, those who do not enter the religion of Islam – warn them. If you warn, what will happen? They won't enter anyway. But for those who say "Allah still has not made it heard": no one is called to account. What did it say in the earlier verses? Had You sent us to a realm where Your essence is not seen, had You sent us realms, scholars, prophets, books – look how we would worship You, we said. The continuation of the verse. He will warn.

Yes. Allah Almighty is free from deficient attributes. On the Day of Resurrection these people: in our worldly life, which is the hidden realm, "O Allah, You did not warn us. We were in a realm where Your essence was veiled. It was impossible for us to know You. And You did not make Your essence known to us" – so that they would not say this, Allah Almighty says to His Beloved in His verse: O My Beloved, warn these people. How beautifully the verses support one another here, don't they? There is nothing that contradicts. Yes. In the realm of the hereafter, that day of sorrow and regret, on that day of reckoning, when they can draw no benefit from their regret, and that they will surely taste the torment of the hereafter they realize – of that day's severity and magnitude, warn them.

For these have plunged into heedlessness.

We were all in heedlessness in the world. Are only they in heedlessness? What meaning comes out here?

Can you tell? Look, we were all created flawed. We all have a period of ignorance. Right? So why does He not address us but addresses these?

Because they – because these have plunged into heedlessness, it says. It points to them. We are (?). Remember the address "Elestü bi Rabbiküm." Allah Almighty knows what their covenant was when they made the covenant with Him. So they are in the heedlessness of their covenant. There is no turning back from that state for them either.

It is being explained, isn't it? Yes. For these have plunged into heedlessness.

Death has come upon them. Their pomp and way of life in the worldly life, the reigns they carried on as if they would never die, have vanished in an instant, everything was taken from their hands, and they have fallen into nothingness.

Like the harvest of a crop field being scattered by a wind, or as a flood disaster or a landslide makes that crop field or vineyard perish, dry up and turn to rubbish, these people too will fall into such nothingness in the hereafter and be deprived of Allah's mercy. For sovereignty and existence belong to Allah. The heavens and the earth, and the inheritance of what is between the two, belong to Allah. So man must lean on Allah and trust in Him. Just as everything other than Allah has an end, beings too belong to Allah. Only when man returns to Allah can he have life with Him.
