“My dear father, I fear that punishment from Rahman (Allah the Merciful) will touch you and that you will become a friend of the devil (shaytan).”
Tafsir
My father, if you continue in this state, that is, if you worship idols by associating partners with Allah, if you continue on the path that Shaytan has given you, you will make Shaytan your friend. If you abandon Allah, Allah will torment you.
Allah is one. God cannot be molded by hands. God is not lifeless and soulless. Allah does not need anything. He is the owner of all creation, the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them. He has no equal and no like, nor is there any created being equal to Him. So, O my father! Do not follow your nafs and the devil. Turn to Allah, Who created us out of nothing, Who created us as the most honorable of His creatures and made them the caliphs of the earth. We have no helper or intercessor except Allah. If you follow the footsteps of Shaytan and follow his path, I fear that you will be close to him. Allah has cursed Satan and has given him a lifespan until the Day of Judgment. In that case, his destination will be hell. I fear that the relatives of the devil will be near him and you will also be subjected to torment.
What is said in the video
Surah Maryam, verse 45 "Dear father, I fear that a punishment from Allah may touch you and that you become a close one of Satan," he says.
If you go on in this state, that is, if you associate partners with Allah and worship idols, if, upon the hint Satan gives you, you continue on the path he shows, you take Satan as a friend. If you abandon Allah, Allah will punish you. All created things are created by Allah.
Allah is one. He is the creator of the whole universe. He is its owner. If you follow the one who rebels against Him, you turn your back on Allah.
In man there is a nafs. The nafs.
This nafs, the nafs, (?) the human body. Whereas the body is a trust given to man, a robot, and the one using it is the driver. That is spirit, nafs and life. Spirit, nafs and life (?) are separate. In this case, if this nafs in man rebels against its Lord who created it, that person too has turned his back on Allah. For example, at the covenant of "Elestü bi Rabbiküm", people's believing in the Allah they expected in their own imagination, and turning their backs on the Allah who created them, denying Him and making the covenant with Allah Almighty – based on what did he do this? He followed his nafs and dragged himself to ruin.
So if the nafs in man also turns its back on Allah, and man abandons the intellect that is over his own nafs, the path Allah has shown him, and that faith and this inspiration that came to him. If he is deceived merely by what his nafs likes,
by the worship Satan gives him, by this world's adornment that his eyes see, and abandons his friends, his place too is Hell.
Yes.
Allah is one. Allah cannot be shaped by hands. Nor is Allah lifeless and without spirit. Allah needs nothing. In one place I describe my Lord. Look how beautiful. How beautifully I describe it. That is, if we were to say it one by one, it goes like this. Allah is one. La ilahe illallah.
If you abandon Allah – Allah is one. Allah cannot be shaped by hands. That is, you cannot describe Him with a single attribute. That is, however you know me, (?). Yes. Nor is Allah lifeless and without spirit. Good. We are saying it. Yes. Spirit, nafs and life are one, you see. Nor is He lifeless and without spirit. Allah needs nothing. Therefore He is the Creator.
He is the owner of all these created things, of the heavens and the earth and what is between the two. Just as He has no partner and no likeness. People misunderstand this part. It is so anyway. When it is said He has no partner and no likeness, you cannot liken Him to anything. He has no partner. That is, nothing resembles Him. It is not like that. For example, let's say our İbrahim Kaya, an inventor – what did he invent? He invented a (?). I know nothing of it. I am not his equal or peer. He is its owner. That is, its discoverer. Allah too created the worlds. We cannot be His partner. Nor can we be His peer.
But we resemble Him. We resemble Him partially. With what? With the attributes of essence. With the spirit. We resemble Him with our spirits.
What do we say? Nor is He without spirit. Allah needs nothing. He is the owner of all these created things, of the heavens and the earth and what is between the two. Just as He has no partner and no likeness, nor is any created being equal to Him. Can you be equal? Can I be equal to you in something I do not know? I don't know it, after all. Well, you know how to create too. Well, can I be equal to you? Yes. So, O my father! Do not follow your nafs and Satan. The One who brought us into being from nothing, created us as the noblest of creation, the most honorable of His creatures, and made them the vicegerents of the earth – return to that Allah.
We have neither a helper nor an intercessor other than Allah. If you follow Satan's footsteps and go on the path he shows, I fear you will become close to him. Allah has cursed Satan and granted him a life until the Day of Judgment. In that case, the place he will go is the fire of Hell. Since those close to Satan will be near him, I fear that you too will be subjected to punishment. Yes.
