(His father) said; “Oh Abraham! Are you turning away from my deities? Verily, if you don’t give up, I will stone you. Stay away from me for a long time.”
Tafsir
Once people give their covenant in rebellion against Allah. After that, it is not possible to guide them to the Truth. As Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him) warned his father and saved him from falsehood and delusion and guided him to the Truth, people who are in rebellion against Allah become angry at the Word of Truth. They become so angry that the clouds in the sky crack.
The father of Hadrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him) also became wrathful in the face of the Word of Truth. He said to Hazrat Ibrahim and his son, who was closest to him, that he would not give up the falsehood, that he would give up Allah, who created him, and his son, who was closest to him, against the idols he worshipped, and that he would stone you, obeying his ego.
In this situation, Azer, the idolater father of Hadrat Ibrahim, said: "O Ibrahim! Stay away from me for a long time. Azer pushed his son, Hazrat Ibrahim, away from himself. Continuing to associate partners with Allah, he preferred the closeness of Satan.
What is said in the video
We have come to verse 46 of Surah Maryam.
His father says the following to Abraham. He said, "O Abraham, are you turning away from my gods? If you do not desist, I swear I will stone you. Stay away from me for a long time." So let a person not give his covenant to Allah as a rebel against Allah. What happens if he does? If he does: Bismillahirrahmanirrahim Hateme'llâhu alâ kulûbihim ve alâ sem'ihim ve alâ ebsârihim gışâvetün ve lehüm azâbün azîm. There is a veil over their eyes, a plug in their ears, and their hearts have been sealed. Now they do not see. Yes.
Once people give their covenant to Allah as rebels, after that it is not possible to turn these people to the truth.
While Abraham (peace be upon him) warned his father and, saving him from falsehood and misguidance, turned him to the truth, people who rebel against Allah, in the face of the word of truth, become angry. Getting furious, they reach a state in which the clouds in the sky would burst. How does he know? The verse is from that, too. They, it says – have you heard the word of truth? When they hear it, they come to a state in which the clouds in the sky would burst, it says.
So Abraham's (peace be upon him) father too, in the face of the word of truth, flew into a rage. Can a person say to his child, "I will stone you, you, stay away from me"? If you are on the side of truth, if you are explaining the truth, falsehood cannot rise above the truth; you cannot say to your child "stay away from me". (?) (?), convey the truth to him, it says. You will speak the truth. He, facing you with false words, will not find a single word, and you will always show him the truth. So when he says "Stay away from me, I will stone you", angered by Satan's temptation and unable to find a word because Abraham (peace be upon him) spoke the truth, he says, "Stay away from me."
So Abraham's (peace be upon him) father too, in the face of the word of truth, flew into a rage; to Abraham, his closest son, he said he would not give up falsehood, and that, following Satan, for the idols he worshipped, the Allah who created him and his closest son he would give up; and following his nafs, he said, "I will stone you." In this case, Abraham's idolater father Azar, so as not to hear the word of truth, said, "O Abraham, stay away from me for a long time." Azar drove his son Abraham away from himself. By continuing to associate partners with Allah, he chose closeness to Satan.
