Tafsir
Hazrat Ibrahim said, "I will go away from his father and his people, from all that people worship besides Allah, and I will call upon my Lord, and I hope that my Lord will not frustrate my prayers.
Then when Allah (swt) warned Hazrat Ibrahim (peace be upon him) not to pray to those who worship other than Allah, those who associate partners with Allah, those who do not believe in Allah and the Hereafter, he stopped praying to his father.
What is said in the video
From you too and from what you worship besides Allah I withdraw, and I implore my Lord. "Hopefully, through my praying to my Lord for you, I will not be wretched, my effort wasted," he says. That is, there is the right of fatherhood, you see; he means that. "I will not have become wretched," he says.
Abraham said as follows: from his father and his people, from what people besides Allah worship, "I will separate and distance myself, and I will implore my Lord; hopefully my Lord will not let the prayers I have made go to waste," he said. Then, when Allah Almighty warned Abraham (peace be upon him) not to pray for those who worship besides Allah, for those who associate partners with Allah, for those who do not believe in the Hereafter and in Allah, he gave up praying for his father. Yes. Because he understands later. What does he understand? Lot (peace be upon him) too was going to pray for his son.
"He is not of you," it says. When some thoughts came to his mind, "It is not as you think," it says. That is, "Those who follow you are of your (?), those who do not follow you are not of your (?)," it says. Yes. (?), right, Hodja? The one there – they say it was created from him. Of course, from the book of (?).
