Translation

After them, a generation came that left the prayer and that followed their evil desires. They will find punishment (for their evil deeds).

Tafsir

These Prophets and their people were followed by people who indulged in pleasure, forgot Allah, indulged in the pleasures of the world and pursued their lusts. Allah does not love immorality and injustice. These people have gone after what Allah forbids, such as gambling, drinking, interest, and have forgotten about prayer, zakat, and the Hereafter.

Allah (swt) says: Some of them asked for miracles and then perished because they did not believe in them. And those who still continue in their error will be punished on the Day of Reckoning on the Day of Judgment for their disbelief in Allah and their disbelief in the Hereafter, for having committed all kinds of evil and mischief.

What is said in the video

Surah Maryam, verse 59. Finally after them there came such a generation that they abandoned prayer. They followed the desires of their nafs.

Roughly like the state of today's youth. You look at the mother: covered. You look at the father: bearded, a hajji, never leaves the mosque. You look at the child beside them: tight trousers, hair uncovered, head uncovered, in stark-naked states.

Do we see it? We see it. Hodja, (?) not just a few. If you put it in percentages, seventy, eighty percent are like this. If you put it in percentages. Huh? Right. Yes.

Now in this generation — this generation, which generation? That is, when I say this generation, the generation in their forties and fifties is what I mean. This generation — by their fathers: oh, our son mustn't suffer, well. We suffered a lot. Who says it? The fathers of the forty-, fifty-year-old men say this. So why do they say it? They came from the common people. There is poverty, need and poverty.

Those who, earning a little money, want to raise their children well, who dote on them, do not get them up for prayer. They don't value their moral side. In that case, the non-Muslim gets in among you too. Well, he tries to direct you on how children are to be brought up. And so a generation far from religion, far from morals, unaware of the Prophet comes into being. He says I am a Muslim. He doesn't know what being a Muslim is. He walks the streets stark naked, and this he thinks is civilization. Civilization.

Today, pay attention to most of those walking around stark naked.

All of them — let's not say all of them — eighty percent are the children of poor families.

Aren't there children of rich families? Twenty percent. Fifteen percent.

It comes from imitation, Hodja. He sees the other one — imitation. Fifteen percent. The exposure among rich children. Why are poor children so (?)? They go around uncovered, shamelessly.

They have an inferiority complex. An inferiority complex. It is lodged in their subconscious. Showing themselves as superior. Civilization, showing themselves as civilized. Their fathers didn't give them religious knowledge either. These are people growing up like an axe without a handle.

Having chased after carnal feelings, worldly whims, satanic temptation, following gilded words of the kind that please the non-Muslim, today they are people who, toward their homeland, their nation and Allah, have led the way in not fulfilling their duty. Yes. What these do, the rich don't do. They have no need for such whims.

Those who have only just seen money and want to show themselves as wealthy, people unaware of religion and faith — their morality is this.

For a new generation to grow up, a restructuring is needed. Anew.

Yes. Surah Maryam, verse 59 we are reading. Yes. After them there came such a generation that they abandoned prayer. They followed the desire of their nafs. It's not me saying it. The verse says it. In the same way. After Allah Almighty destroyed the people of Lot, the peoples who came in their place ran wild again after a while. How beautifully Allah Almighty says it in a verse. As if, it says, it were an inheritance left to them by their ancestors, they compete, it says. In immorality. Yes. Therefore they will later suffer the punishment for their straying, it says. Later. Where? It happens within life too.

And it does happen. (?) later. What it really means by 'later' is (?) in the realm of the hereafter. Then, when 'alas' is of no use, and he can never again go back to the world, on a day of reckoning, to Allah Almighty: send me back once more — look how I will worship You — when he says that: If We sent you back not once but several more times, you would still do the same thing, He says. Now we came to this world as a guest. We are guests in this world, gentlemen. No one has remained in this world forever, so that I should remain. Why did we come as guests? What is the reason? At the address 'Elestü bi-Rabbiküm', we — all of us, all souls — saw Allah Almighty, and in that sight many people denied Allah.

Why? Because Allah Almighty, since He gave us a soul from (?), created us resembling His essence. And He appeared exactly in human form. In that case those who were seized by pride and arrogance expected the Lord of their own imagination. The Lord. That is why, since Allah Almighty is free of deficient attributes, the realm of this world He created. You know, as it says in Surah Taha: If We had destroyed you with a destruction before, it says, you would have said to Us exactly this, it says: If only You had sent us a prophet, we would have followed Your verses — if you were not going to say this, it says, We would not have created these worlds.

So if Allah Almighty created in the likeness of His essence and many people denied Allah there, then again, there, expecting the Lord of their imagination, what will he say? Send me to the world again, and look how I will worship You, he will say. When he says it, he is not sincere. Why (?)? What does two times two make? It makes four. (?), what does that make? It makes water. Because their characters are rebellious in themselves, and since there is no chance of them improving, and our Lord knows this, He says exactly this: If We sent you back not once but several more times, you would do the same thing, He says. Yes.

After these prophets and their people came people fond of pleasure and enjoyment, who forgot Allah, immersed in worldly blessings, running after their lusts. Allah Almighty does not love immorality and injustice. These people have chased after things Allah forbade, such as gambling, drink and interest, and have forgotten prayer, zakat and the hereafter. Indeed, in these times, with our own ears, the words we hear: who has gone to the hereafter and come back, they say. They go this far, that is. Instead of saying who has gone to the hereafter and come back, to yourself if you were to turn — that it could not be created by anyone, that all created beings (?) could not give life to any thing, over the worlds, this human being created with great technology — his condition, if every person with a mind were to think about it even a little: there is a creator of this.

Such organs cannot come about by themselves, line up and create a body so orderly and flawless. They cannot. Most of those who deny Allah, too: the world, nature. In nature this animal turned into this form after so much time. And after so much time into this form. With words they made up to deny Allah, they try to get into people's minds. Whereas Allah created seventeen thousand or eighteen thousand worlds. For example, the horse is an animal, the fly is a world, the ant is a world, the wolf is a world. Thus He created eighteen thousand worlds. These worlds, completing one another, locked the world in place.

In that case no creature can, of a creature, change its gene, its gene, by itself, nor can that animal change its form on its own.

This lies only within the power of the Creator. A person so lacking in knowledge and so ignorant that he cannot think of this, only such a person, who turns his back on Allah and lives within the circle of ignorance, says this: who has gone to the hereafter and come back — and with a very short sight proves that he himself is nothing, that he is base. Yes.

Allah Almighty saying they will later suffer the punishment for their straying: some of them miracles, some of them miracles asked for. Then, because they did not believe in these miracles, they were destroyed. As for those who still persist in their straying: on the Day of Judgment, on that day of reckoning, of those who deny Allah and who, in return for not believing in the hereafter, desire every kind of evil and wickedness, it is the place where they will suffer the punishment. Yes.
