Translation

(It will be said to them) “You shall not desire to vanish (only) once today. But you shall desire to vanish many times.”

Tafsir

(Do not ask to perish today (only) once. On the contrary, ask to be destroyed many times." We understand from this verse that it shows that they will not have only one kind of torment in front of them, but they will be subjected to many torments. The word of Allah is the truth. The fact that He has said several times to seek death, and that every time these people are dragged into torment, they cry out, "O destruction! Where are you?" will not bring them death. Because there is no more death in the Hereafter. There is an eternal life. The fact that their torments are eternal and that they ask for death every time they enter torment shows that the torments in Hell are varied and eternal.

In order to protect people from such torments, Allah (swt) says that there is no other God but Him, that the Prophets and the Books He has sent are true, that whoever obeys Allah's commands will be saved, and whoever denies the Hereafter and Allah and prefers the life of this world to the Hereafter, then Hell and eternal torment in Hell are for them.

What is said in the video

Surah Al-Furqan, verse 14 To them, it says, it is said: Do not ask for destruction just once today To the people of Hell, to the people who will remain forever in Hell. Today, it says, not just a single time ask for destruction. Rather, ask for destruction many times, it says. Many times. What does this mean? Because there is no more death in the Hereafter, because there is no death upon souls, Paradise and Hell are eternal. In that case, in the Hereafter, whenever the people of Hell see the punishment: "Destruction, where are you?" in that sense. When you fall into punishment once and say "Destruction, where are you?", it will not be just a single time, it says.

You will be subjected to such punishment there that not once but many times, when you are subjected to those punishments, they will say, "O destruction, where are you?" May Allah protect us. May Allah not show us those days. May He not show them to our families and children. May He not bring anyone of the Ummah of Muhammad, honored with the religion of Islam, to such a state. Yes. Do not ask for destruction just once today. Rather, ask for destruction many times. From the verse we understand that before them there is not just one kind of punishment; it shows that they will be subjected to many punishments.

The word of Allah Almighty is truth. His saying "ask for death several times": these people crying out in an outburst each time they are dragged into a punishment, "O destruction, where are you?", will not bring them death. Yes.

Because there is no more death in the Hereafter. There is an eternal life. Their punishments being endless, and their asking for death each time they enter a punishment, show that the punishments in Hell are varied and eternal. Yes.

So Allah Almighty, to warn people against such a punishment, says that besides Himself there is no other god, that the prophets and books He sent are true; whoever observes Allah's commands, whoever prefers the worldly life, then Hell and eternal punishment in Hell are for these, He declares. Allah Almighty. Yes.
