(Upon this, it will be said to the others) “Verily, they falsified what you said. Now, you cannot return (your punishment), nor can you receive help. For those who committed oppression among you, We will make you taste a great punishment.

Tafsir

This time Allah (swt) turns to the others, the people who do not believe in Allah and the Hereafter, the people who associate partners with Allah, and says: "Those whom you worship as God have made you liars. So you are liars. If they were gods, they would have taken care of you. The people of Hell will say, "We believe in Allah," but they will think that they are fooling Allah. Allah (swt) will address them and say, "Today you will have neither a helper nor an intercessor. Nor will you have a friend who can turn back the torment that I will give you. He will say, 'We will make you taste a great torment because you were unjust to your souls.

Those who deny Allah and the Hereafter, while living in this world, buy the eternal torment of the Hereafter for a few hours of pleasure in this world. O man! The world is a place of testing. Do not commit polytheism against Allah by living in the world of pleasure, by turning your back on Allah, by following the footsteps of the ego and Satan, by being proud and arrogant against Allah, by mocking and making fun of Allah's Verses, by considering yourself superior to Allah, by calling Allah's Verses the fairy tales of ancient times, by calling those who are ruled by Allah's commands reactionary and outdated, and by buying the eternal torment of the Hereafter. Do you have power and knowledge above Allah's power of creation? Do you want to deny the Verses of Allah by opposing what Allah wants to see on people, by disliking Allah's commands, and by following the footsteps of your ego and Shaytan, your enemy?

When one's life, which is a treasure, is gone, when one drinks the wine of death, when one passes on to the hereafter, and when one encounters the truth, regret will be useless. So, wake up, shake yourself up, wake up and contemplate, think about why these worlds and human beings were created. Surely your thinking and contemplation will lead you to the Truth. If you follow your mind with this thought, you will find the truth, but if you push your mind aside and follow your ego, then you will be unjust to your ego and you will be subjected to eternal torment.

What is said in the video

Upon this, the others are addressed as follows, in Surah Al-Furqan, verse 19. Upon this, the others are addressed as follows. So those you worshipped have proven you liars in what you said. Now you can neither avert your punishment nor obtain any help. Whoever among you does wrong, We will make taste a great punishment, it says. Is it you who denied Allah? Is it you who, eating and drinking all the blessings Allah gave in the finest way and living in pleasure, associated partners with Allah? Is it you who, deeming your Lord's blessing upon you insufficient, rebelled against Allah? Today you are now in the realm of the hereafter, from which there is no return.

Everyone has determined their own place, according to the covenant they gave at the address 'Alastu bi Rabbikum', already beforehand. But since We are free of any deficient attribute, says Allah Almighty, We sent you to a bounded world where Our essence is not seen. So that you would not say: had You sent us to a bounded world, had You sent prophets, scholars, had You sent books, we would have worshipped You. So in this situation Allah Almighty sent us to these worlds. Each of us, after holding ourselves as witness, before those around us and before Allah Almighty, to what kind of person we are — since, when we go to the hereafter, our characters will not change — on a journey of no return, when we go to the hereafter, a return to the world is then (?).

Everyone will attain paradise or hell in return for what they did.

Yes.

This time Allah Almighty, turning to the others — that is, those He calls the others, those who do not believe in Allah and the hereafter, people who associate partners with Allah — turning to them, says this: Those you worshipped as god have proven you liars. So you are liars. Had these been god, they would have stood by you. As for the people of hell, even though they will say, we believed in Allah, they will think they can deceive Allah. Allah Almighty, addressing them: from now on, today you will have neither a helper nor an intercessor. Neither you, nor any friend who could avert the punishment I will give you, will be found. Because you were wrongdoers against your own selves, We will make you taste a great punishment, He will say.

So those who deny Allah and the hereafter, while living in the world, for the few hours of worldly pleasure, buy the eternal punishment of the hereafter. O human! The world is a place of trial. By living the world in pleasure, turning your back on Allah, following the tracks of the nafs and of Satan, being proud and arrogant toward Allah, mocking and making fun of Allah's verses, seeing yourself above Allah, calling Allah's verses tales of the ancients, calling those who abide by Allah's commands reactionary and backward, buying the eternal punishment of the hereafter, do not associate partners with Allah.

Do you possess a strength and knowledge above Allah's power to create? Opposing what Allah wants to see in people, disliking Allah's commands, following your nafs and the tracks of the devils who are your enemies, do you want to deny Allah's verses? Yes, what fine advice we are giving people. A person's lifetime, which is their treasure, slips from their hands. A person drinks the sherbet of death, passes on to the hereafter, and when facing the truths, regret is of no use to him. So, be startled and (?), come back to yourself. Wake up and reflect. Why were these worlds and the human created? Think about it. Surely your thinking and reflecting will bring you to the truth. If you follow your reason with this thought, you find the truth. If you push your reason aside and follow your nafs, then you become a wrongdoer against your nafs and are left subject to eternal punishment.
