See what similes they make for you. They have gone astray and (as long as they are on that path) they won’t find the right path.

Tafsir

The polytheists and disbelievers said about the Prophet (SAW) that he was a madman or that he was bewitched. People who did not believe in Allah and the Hereafter proved that they were enemies of Allah and that they did not believe in Allah and the Hereafter by saying such things. In this case, they likened the Prophet (PBUH) to a madman and a lunatic. Such people had already denied Allah in the past, that is, in the spirit world, when they made a covenant with Allah (swt). They betrayed Allah. When they come to this world, people with the same characters, when they deny Allah (swt) who created them, they deny the Prophet (s.a.w.) without blinking an eye. This is because these people have written their will as their destiny in the Hereafter. In this world, they play the script of their destiny like an artist. That is why Allah (swt) informs His Messenger about such people and reminds him that He is with His Messenger (s.a.w.) and that the Prophet (s.a.w.) should not pay attention to the speeches of such people. He informs His Messenger of those who disbelieved in Allah in the past by saying that they will never find the right path again.

Even though Allah (swt) has made such people to communicate the Truth in the realm of property through His Prophets and put the responsibility on their backs, no human being will have a word to accuse Allah (swt), nor will they be able to find the right path for eternity because their ears are plugged, their hearts are sealed and their eyes are veiled from seeing the Truth.

What is said in the video

Surah Al-Isra, verse 48: Look, for you what kinds of comparisons they made, it says, for the Prophet, and then they make the same comparisons about the scholars who come from him.

Is there a hadith or a verse for this too? There is. Scholars are the heirs of the prophet. If they are heirs, whatever was said to him, they will say to them too. Heir. If that knowledge was given to him, the heir will tell of that knowledge. Because he is his heir. To whom does a father's inheritance go? It goes to his son. Right? Yes. And to whom does the Prophet's inheritance go? To the scholars. The scholars are the Prophet's heirs. But not the person who says "I am a scholar."

To whom? Those raised by Allah Himself.

Who have risen to the nafs radiya. Who have reached the state of ilm al-yaqin. Kneaded with Allah's knowledge, who have been granted our Lord's inspiration, and of whom he said, "The passing of your scholars to the hereafter is like the sun leaving and darkness coming." Those who learn a few things from Ahmet and Mehmet and, amid superstitions, with words that do not hold together, say "I am a scholar" – when we say, "Look, this word of yours contradicts this verse," they say, "Look, in so-and-so's book it is like this – do you know better than him?" and they show the book of Ahmet and Mehmet as proof and turn their backs on Allah's verse – we do not mean such people, the wrongdoers.

Yes. It is understood, I suppose. Yes. Look, what kinds of comparisons they made for you. Because of this they went so astray that, while in that state, they will no longer find the right path, it says. While in that state.

We correct these places, I mean. We correct it in parentheses: "while in that state." Otherwise: because of this they went so astray that they will no longer find the way. They will not find it. There are also those who did find it. That is where we make corrections. We don't write these as wrong, I mean. When we say "while in that state," it is corrected. For example, Surah Al-Isra, verse 48 – let us look at that verse. What does it say here? There. Pardon?

We will look here. Right?

Let's see how he has written it here. Has he put it in parentheses here? Let's see.

It was verse 46, right? 48. 48. Was it 48?

The thing, one of theirs, yes, here. We will look at these, how they wrote it. We wrote the corrected form. But did they also write it that way?

Yes.

Surah Al-Isra, verse 48 is written like this: Look, it says, what kinds of comparisons they made for you. Because of this they went so astray that they will no longer find the right path, it says. They went so astray that they will no longer find the right path. Among those who went astray, aren't there some who later turn back? They turn back. For example, here that word we put in parentheses saves it from ascribing attributes to Allah. With that word: while in that state they will no longer find the right path. That is, after continuing in that state, after being (?) in that condition, they did not find the right path – they went, I mean.

But in this form it ascribes attributes to Allah Almighty. Look, what kinds of comparisons they made for you. Because of this they went so astray that they will no longer find the right path. Well now, I will show you events that are the opposite of this verse.

The verse (?) is not contrary, but according to their interpretation. What cruelties they committed against the Prophet (peace be upon him), Abu Sufyan included.

Khalid ibn al-Walid, the Sword of Allah, in the Battle of Tabuk, in the Battle of Uhud, was a (?) man. What insults they hurled. How they strayed in those covenants! How they came at them in the Aqaba agreements! And then they became Muslims.

Well, did these verses now become that big contradiction?

So when a person interprets a verse, on the word of the Truth he must avoid words that will contradict each other. Yes. That is why, in parentheses there: "while in that state they will no longer find the right path."

Polytheists and disbelievers – isn't a disbeliever a polytheist? Isn't a polytheist a disbeliever? No. The two are separate. We said a polytheist is an idolater. Because they cannot know this, they say there is abrogation in the Quran. Abrogation. There is no abrogation in the Quran; whoever says there is abrogation in the Quran ascribes attributes to Allah. Allah Almighty says about the Prophet (peace be upon him) "he does not speak idly"; if Allah Almighty says about the Prophet (peace be upon him) "he does not speak idly," then if in the Quran He replaced one verse with another and removed it, if He abrogated it, would He not have spoken idly in that verse? Or else Allah Almighty, in that noble verse, wronged those people. Then He looked and saw the wrong.

He saw the wrong. He changed it. He preferred (?), and sent a better one. Or in that verse He saw that those people had become spoiled. So in that verse He brought some restrictions on these people. This does not befit Allah.

Whoever looks for a deficiency in Him should look for a deficiency in himself. There is no abrogation in the Quran. If one does not know the polytheists and the disbelievers, if he says "do not marry polytheists," and says "you may marry the People of the Book," and says "look, this verse – these verses abrogated it," that utter ignoramus exposes his own ignorance. Truly an utter ignoramus. Yes.

The polytheists and disbelievers said about the Prophet (peace be upon him), "He is a madman" or "he is someone bewitched." People who do not believe in Allah and the hereafter, with talk like this, proved that they are enemies of Allah, that they do not believe in Allah and the hereafter. So they likened the Prophet (peace be upon him) to a lunatic and madman, to Majnun. Indeed, such people earlier too, I mean while in the realm of souls, when making the covenant with Allah Almighty, denied Allah there. They betrayed Allah. When they come into the world, people of the same character, when they deny the Allah who created them, deny the Prophet (peace be upon him) without batting an eye.

Why? And they are enemies of Allah. If I am Allah's friend, of course they will be my enemies too. Let's say I am the envoy's friend, his close friend. And the envoy has an enmity with (?).

(?) is necessarily my enemy too. Since I am your friend, he becomes my enemy too. I go around together with (?). Even if I go to him, he looks at me with suspicion, wondering whether I have come out of enmity toward him. So those who are enemies of Allah are likewise enemies of Allah's envoy. Yes.

Because these people, in the hereafter realm, had their own wishes written for them as their destiny. And in the world they play the script of their destiny like an actor. For this reason Allah Almighty, by informing His Beloved about such people, by saying "Look, for you what kinds of comparisons they made," that He is beside His Beloved, and that the Prophet (peace be upon him) should pay no heed to the talk of such people – this is what He reminds. In a way, Allah Almighty is consoling His Messenger. Yes, that is what He says.

The Prophet is distressed by this, of course. And Allah Almighty: do not be distressed. I am with you. Pay no heed to their comparisons. In the end their return is to Me, He says. To Me.

We will show you their state either in this world or else, He says, We will show it in that world, He says. Yes.

Indeed, by saying "these will never again find the right path," those who earlier denied Allah Almighty are made known to His Beloved.

To such people, although Allah Almighty, through His prophets, in the material world had the truth conveyed and placed the responsibility on their backs, so that no person will have a word to blame Allah Almighty, since these people's ears are blocked, their hearts sealed, and their eyes veiled from seeing the truth, they will eternally not find the right path either. Yes.
