Allah is the Lord of things in the heavens, the earth and what is between them. So, worship Allah. Be patient and steadfast in worshipping Allah. Do you know anyone who is Allah’s namesake (is equal to Allah)? (There is no one).

Tafsir

Allah is the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them. That is, the Lord of all created things, seen and unseen. There is no god but Him. He is one in His Essence.

So Allah did not create these worlds in vain. Allah created human beings to know His Essence, and He made them address His Essence. He also created the realm of property for man. He made man the khalifah of the realm of property. So, if Allah did not create anything for nothing, if He created these worlds for the sole purpose of making Himself known, and if He made human beings the addressees of Himself, then we are obliged to serve Allah who created us.

When a person stands up for prayer to worship Allah, when he begins to worship Allah, a heaviness comes upon him. This is from Shaytan. Shaytan travels in the jugular veins of the human being and he is tempting the human being. Whenever a person starts to worship Allah, he gives him a feeling of weariness and exhaustion through mischief. If a person is patient and steadfast, his faith and willpower will overcome Satan's temptation. When a person performs his prayers and serves Allah, he feels as light as a bird and is filled with inner peace.

Since Allah (swt) knows what His creatures will become, He enlightens His servants by shedding light on them with His Verses.

Have you ever heard of a namesake of Allah (swt), a similar one, a creator other than Him? Do you know such a person? Do you know someone like Allah who creates out of nothing and creates like Allah? There is never such a creator. Except Allah, who is the only one.

It is Allah who created all the worlds out of nothing. He has created human beings in order to make Himself known, and He has willed that human beings should know Him within their own wills, leaving them free in their wills. No human being is irresponsible. The human being who sees himself as free in this unseen world! The human being who thinks that no one can hold him accountable! If only he could realize that he is actually responsible to Allah (swt) for every second and every moment.

What is said in the video

Surah Maryam, verse 65: of the heavens, the earth and the things between the two He is the Lord. Of the heavens, the earth and everything between the two, He is the Lord. Allah Almighty created the worlds in six days. The heavens in two days, the earth in two days, what is between them in two days. So He is the Lord of the heavens and the earth and of the things between the two. You see, the verses support one another. You will never find verses that contradict each other. If there are verses that contradict each other, it is a verse that a person, because of how he describes Allah Almighty, has interpreted according to his (?).

So if, for that person, the verses contradict each other, it means the person is unaware of the verses. Yes. So serve Him. Then these created worlds were not created in vain. And if He created you, He did not send you into this world aimlessly to live for pleasure. So that His Essence be known, He created a human, that is, He gave him a part of His spirit. He will make the (?) obey its whole. Just as a child obeys its mother and father, why should we not worship our Lord who created us, who brought us into being from nothing, and obey Him? (?) But which children do not obey their mother and father?

Those of people with scattered, restless hearts who turn their backs on Allah: the children of non-Muslims.

Yes. They did not obey Allah, so how should the children obey them?

They envy the children of Muslims. How is it that these obey you? Yes. They do research. Instead of researching like that, research your religion.

He is the Lord of the heavens, the earth and the things between the two. So serve Him. So He brought you into the world. He brought you into being from nothing. He gave you a part of His Essence. He made you His addressee. To secure every kind of provision for you, He took it upon Himself. He charged Himself with it. Er-rızku alallah. He is the giver of provision. As long as man puts his trust in Allah. As long as man is bound by the religion of Islam. As long as man's nafs is content. Today a puppy, a whelp just born from its mother yesterday, a puppy 10 days, 15 days, 20 days old, goes out looking for its provision.

It doesn't think of tomorrow. It will fill its belly in that moment. Nothing for tomorrow; tomorrow's provision is separate. It lives too. Look at the birds, look at the animals, all of them seek their provision and eat their fill for the day. I live, it lives too; it eats, I eat too, but my nafs is never full: my house, my car, my yacht, my palace, let me buy and buy, buy and buy. In the end I eat and drink as much as my provision. I wear out as much as my provision. The rest I leave in the world and, as an inheritance, leave it lawfully to my children. I pass on to the hereafter with its reckoning on myself.

Without taking anything from the world. See, hundreds of miracles appear before your eyes every day. You see, yet you don't see, He says. See, the verse says: do you not see the birds flying over the deserts? In the morning, it says, with empty crops, in the evening with full crops, it says, to their nests they return, it says.

So what is this insatiability?

See, if man were content with his state, if he lived Islam, if he were content, sir, with as much provision as he eats, he would both be pleased with Allah and win Allah's pleasure. Yes. And he would pass a fine test in the world and attain a fine rank in the hereafter. What does it matter if I own a mansion in the world? What if palaces were mine? What if a world's worth, another world's worth, were mine? In the end every soul will taste death. The inheritance of the heavens and the earth will remain to Allah. Well then, with what will I go? With the good deeds and sins I have done, I will go to be called to account before my Lord. So if in this world, in the matters through which I can earn my hereafter, I myself, by Allah's knowledge or command, can carry out those matters in line with the sharia rulings our Lord has shown us, it means I am earning Allah's mercy.

If not, if I go outside it, follow the whims of my nafs, go crooked like a snake on the straight path, crooked, (?) like a bucket. When you tilt, it spills; when you straighten up, you take a little; when you tilt, you lose again, and finally, neck bowed, hands blackened, your face, sir, looking down at the ground before Allah Almighty, on that day seeking help, you will seek help from Allah Almighty. Yes. So in this world, (?), we will know our place, we will know our duty, we will not fall behind in serving Allah.

He says: be patient and steadfast in serving Him. How beautifully He says it. Yes, He says. Yes. When you get up for prayer you feel lazy, but, He says, keep going. How beautifully He says it. Keep going. Because He knows people's carnal feelings: be patient and steadfast in serving Him. See how beautifully the verses support each other. When you're about to get up for prayer, He says, a laziness comes, but keep going, He says.

Do you know of anyone who is His namesake, His like? What is a namesake? His equal. His equal. For example, while John was in prison, they say to John about Jesus: someone has come who speaks like you. Praise be to Allah, my namesake has come, he says. My namesake. So does Allah Almighty have a namesake, that is, an equal? Yes, He gave us of His spirit; we resemble Him, but in essence and attributes, our Lord's, sir, we resemble His Essence, but

can we become wise with His intellect? Can we become learned with His knowledge? Can we have the art of creating like Him? Then can we be His equal? How beautiful. Everyone will know their limits. Know their place. Yes.

Can I be my father's father to my father? I didn't exist before my father. Coming after my father, should my father be my child? So: I did not exist in these worlds; Allah existed. Since I subsist through Allah, since (?), can I be His equal? Just as I cannot be my father's equal. Yes.

Allah Almighty is the Lord of the heavens, the earth, and the things between these two. That is, He created and made us His addressee; (?) He created the world of dominion; man He made the caliph of the world of dominion. So if Allah created nothing in vain, if only so that His Essence be known He created these worlds, and made man His addressee, then to Allah who created us we are obliged to serve. If you don't, if you don't, you'll bear your punishment. Now let me give an example from myself; say Mr. İbrahim keeps giving me money, keeps giving, feeds me, gives me drink, ah, I lie on my back and get up, ah, he feeds me like this; well, this (?) must have some return, dear fellow.

What would he say? Come on, that's shameful. At least do this task I give you, he'd say. That is, he'd say, do this. Well, Allah too has given us a life. He has given a part of His spirit. He created us as a likeness of His Essence and as His addressee. He brought us to earth. He set us as caliphs. Well then, can one (?) and turn one's back on Allah?

Is Allah not to be remembered?

Well then, wouldn't we be ungrateful toward so many blessings that Allah Almighty has given? Wouldn't we have raised the flag of rebellion against Allah? Like the non-Muslims, the Jews,

as when they said the fire will touch us in hell for no more than three days, sir, in this case, do they have some proof from Allah Almighty in their hands? If so, let them wish for death at once, He says. Yes.

When a person gets up for prayer to serve Allah, when he begins to worship Allah, a heaviness descends on him.

This is from Satan; Satan roams in man's jugular veins and tempts man. Whenever man gets up to serve Allah, starts to worship, through whispering he gives him tiredness and exhaustion. See, if man is patient and steadfast, the faith and will in man overcome Satan's temptation. When a person prays and serves Allah, he feels as light as a bird, and is taken by an inner peace. Yes.

You see, since Allah Almighty knows what states His creatures will come to, He shines a light before them with His verses and enlightens His servants. That Allah Almighty has a namesake, that is, a likeness, that besides Him there is a creator — have you heard of it?

I have. Who says it? Pharaoh. Who says it? Nimrod. But they were all mortal and gone. So these were liars. Maybe some said such things even before the ones we've heard of. What happened? All were mortal and gone. Whatever Allah — not mortal, subsisting by His Essence, creator of the worlds — has said from the start, His word remains until the Day of Judgment. But Hodja, how do we know? Now Allah exists, He sent the book; maybe He too has vanished. Who knows, maybe after we die none of this will happen. That is, we won't be resurrected again. Does Satan put this into the mind? He does. Look now.

Since Allah Almighty will not send another prophet, He sends the heirs of the prophet.

These are the scholars. These scholars remain aware of divine manifestations. What is this? Allah Almighty addresses the believers in His verse, right? O soul at peace! Your Lord pleased with you and you pleased with your Lord, enter among My servants, enter My paradise — the people to whom He says this. Well, as we said a moment ago, if Allah had truly vanished, the book came, but after we (?) we will vanish. If it were that we'll simply be gone. The believers become aware of divine manifestations.

Manifestation, that is, Allah Almighty manifests Himself directly. And he becomes a believer. The believer: the verse manifests. And Allah makes a miracle appear upon that servant. When he rises further above that, then, as nafs radiyah, in the state of ilm al-yaqin, he receives his knowledge. Now, are there such people? Look, I have neither Arabic

nor outward knowledge — outward knowledge — nor have I memorized the Quran. I read the Quran, but I haven't memorized it. Where did I get this knowledge?

Now, the answer to the question from before: I was trained directly by my Lord, and if I open this many verses, if in those who open these verses, the professors, I can find their mistakes; if of Allah, who is free of deficient attributes, and of those verses into which they've inserted falsehoods, I explain the truths, and no one can come before me and say, you explain this wrongly too, its meaning is this — then the proof is with me. So Allah Almighty is still alive at every moment. Every moment. Until the Day of Judgment, and after it. What does He say? Ve'l-evvelü ve'l-âhiru ve'z-zâhiru ve'l-bâtın.

I am the First, the Last, the Outward, the Inward. He is the unseen, hidden from the eyes. In the outward manifestations you see Allah's existence in everything.

The inward shows you the beings of the worlds beyond. Yes. In that case, people who know Arabic have interpreted the verses wrongly. And we say what is right. Look, in the verse, in the fourth verse of Surah Ibrahim, Allah Almighty says: We send every prophet with the language of his own people. Since no prophet will come again, Allah Almighty raises people who are heirs of the prophet. In their own language, the verses — their meanings beautifully, through inspiration

and through the clarity of unveiling — He trains them, and has them explain to those people in their own language in the best way.

Because no prophet will come again. So Allah Almighty, from pre-eternity to eternity, always speaks to every age. After me, too, He will raise scholars. He will have them speak too. Yes. So as for people's doubts of "what if", in this way, upon people, by making His miracles appear, our Lord proves His existence. If I am mistaken in what I say, if I err, the opposite of what I say, that the verses are not like this, and their "you are wrong" — let them prove it with verses. They have Arabic too. They have Arabic too.

In that case, since we explain the truth, and since a person cannot have such knowledge out of nowhere, then this has a teacher.

Who is called "ummi"? If you ask poor people, ummi they say, is one who can't read and write. Well, they're ignorant. Is he ummi too then? The man can neither read nor write. A shepherd (?). Sir, he says animal (?). Can you call him ummi? Ummi: if not from anyone any knowledge, but Allah Almighty Himself makes it known to that servant through inspiration, trains him, then this is an ummi person. And we have neither Arabic, nor memorization, nor outward knowledge. Where did you get this knowledge? Our Lord Himself, with verses, with inspiration, trained us. By showing the verses through unveiling, their meanings openly, and by inspiration to the heart, by training us with hadiths, with verses.

What brave man will say: search all the books in the world, ask the deepest question. Go ahead. What brave man will say:

I won't consult a book, I'll tell you. If I consult a book and then tell you, then I'm just telling stories too. How else should Allah prove His existence, how else will He prove it?

But if you're prejudiced, if you're with carnal feelings, if with satanic feelings, with (?), you occupy your heart, of course in doubts and suspicions you'll wear yourself out and be lost. You can't use your reason. Yes. That Allah Almighty has a namesake, that is, a likeness, that besides Him there is a creator — have you heard of it? Do you know such a one? Can you know anyone who brings into being from nothing like Allah, who creates like Allah? There is never such a creator, except the one Allah. Yes. You see, Allah, who brought all the worlds into being from nothing, created people too so that His Essence be known; leaving people free in their will, He has willed that within people's own will His Essence be known.

No human is without responsibility. Man, who sees himself as free in this vanishing world, man who thinks no one will call him to account — if only he could grasp that in fact every second and every moment he is responsible to Allah Almighty. Yes.
