Translation

We have not (sent down) the Qur’an as a burden for you.

Tafsir

Since Allah (swt) knows that people cannot easily find guidance and the right path according to their own intellect, He has sent the Holy Qur'an as a source of guidance, a light, a proof and a light before them.

Since the Qur'an is addressed to the intellect, every intellect realizes that Allah's Verses are true. Allah (swt) said to His Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.) that We did not send the Qur'an to you so that you would have difficulty, because the intellect in human beings is the knowledge of the Lord, and as a result of the realization that the Qur'an is true by every intellect, We did not send the Qur'an to you so that you would have difficulty.

What is said in the video

The second verse of Surah Ta-Ha: We did not [send down] the Quran to you so that you suffer hardship, it says.

Now, Allah Almighty created man deficient in reason. Man is not free from error. Indeed Allah Almighty says, if He had not wanted man to err: We would destroy them, (?), and create in their place servants who commit errors, He says. The reason for this: so that we turn to Allah, the Owner of the worlds, know that our nafs is in helplessness, and obey the Owner of all beings with reverence - to make this known He created us deficient. He created us deficient in reason. In that case, with our deficient reason, however learned we may be, we commit errors, and with this error we return to Allah Almighty, asking pardon and forgiveness, make supplication to our Lord, and so fit our Lord's purpose in creating.

So: We did not [send] the Quran to you so that you suffer hardship; so We created you or mankind deficient; if We had not sent the Quran to you, you would, with this reason of yours, have suffered hardships. You would not easily find the truth, you would not easily grasp what is right. So: We did not [send] this Quran to you so that you suffer hardship, that is, to light up your paths, because We created you with deficient reason, to keep you firm on a straight path, on as-sirat al-mustaqim, We sent Our commands to you as a light, as a leader, He says. How beautiful. Since Allah Almighty knew that people, by their own reason, could not easily find guidance and the right path, He sent the Holy Quran to people as a source of guidance, a light, that is, as a proof and a light before them.

Since the Quran addresses reason, everyone with reason grasps that Allah's verses are true. So Allah Almighty, in saying to the Beloved of the Almighty, the Seal of the Prophets, Muhammad (peace be upon him): We did not [send] you the Quran so that you suffer hardship - since the reason in people knows its Lord, and as a result everyone with reason grasps that the Quran is true - means: We did not send you the Quran so that you suffer hardship. We sent it down only as an admonition for those who fear.
