(Oh My Messenger!) Did the news of Moses reach you?

Tafsir

Allah (swt) said to the Prophet (s.a.w.), "Did he come to you unaware of the time of Hazrat Musa (Moses) so that you would inform people of his story? There was never any such ignorance and these events have been forgotten. He says, "Now we will tell you the parable of the Prophet Moses.

Allah (swt) is narrating these stories to people in order to declare that His Essence is eternal, that all beings were created by His Essence, that He is aware and omnipotent of all events, and that not even a particle can move without His knowledge.

What is said in the video

We have come to Surah Ta-Ha, verse 9. My Messenger, has the news of the story of Moses reached you, it says. Now He will give news of Moses. Has it reached you, it says. Allah Almighty, to the Prophet (peace be upon him): Did a messenger come to you from the time of Moses, so that you would tell people of his story, He says. Or did you live in that time, so that you know that time, He says. His aim in saying this: that there is no other god besides Him, that all of them He created, what He made known to them, how He guided them — by telling this to the Messenger of Allah, He proves that He is the Owner of the worlds, that besides Him no god exists. This word, only this word.

My Messenger, has the news of the story of Moses reached you, it says; did someone else bring it to you, it says. Now I will give you examples from the past, He says.

Just as there was never such a messenger, these events too have been forgotten. Now He declares that He will tell you from the story of Moses. By making these verses known to people in this way, Allah Almighty — to declare that His Being is everlasting, that all beings were created by Him, that He is aware of and has power over all events, that without His knowledge not even a speck can stir — tells people these stories.
