Tafsir

Hazrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm', who had been with Shu'ayp 'alaihis-salâm' in Medina, set out for Egypt with his family to visit his mother and brothers. On the way, a baby was born and night had fallen. It was very dark and cold and they were about to lose their way. Meanwhile, when he came to the Tuva valley west of Mount Tur, he saw a fire there. He says to his family; "You wait for me here. Maybe I will bring you a fire from there and we can warm up a little bit. Or maybe we will meet someone there who knows the way and we will know if the direction we are going is the right one.

What is said in the video

When he saw a fire and said to his family: wait. I am sure I saw a fire. Perhaps I will bring you a torch from it. Or I will find a guide by the fire, he had said. Whereas Allah Almighty appearing in the form of a fire to Moses — now it tells of the event. (?) Moses (peace be upon him), who was with Shuaib (peace be upon him), to visit his mother and siblings, together with his family, toward Egypt sets out. On the way a baby is born to them, and night has also fallen. It is both very dark and cold. They are also about to lose their way. Meanwhile, to the Valley of Tuwa, west of Mount Sinai, when they come, he sees a fire there.

He says to his family: wait for me here, maybe I will bring you some fire from there and we will (?) at least a little. Or we will meet someone there who knows the way and realize that the direction we are going is not right, he had said.

Why did he go to Midian? Moses — Pharaoh's astrologers: a child will be born, it will bring down your throne, they say. Of the people of Israel, they left the girls alive, the boys they were killing. Allah Almighty tells Moses' mother in a dream to make a basket and leave the basket in the Nile, and his mother makes the basket and places Moses in the Nile. His sister follows it. He reaches the palace garden and they take him. Pharaoh raises him with his own hands.

Yes. These manifestations of Allah, divine, lordly manifestations — having him raised by his enemy's own hand. Yes. Then giving him his own mother as a wet nurse. What games, really! Is this Allah?

Then Moses, Moses (peace be upon him), in a quarrel between a Gypsy and one of his own people, pushing the Gypsy, him hitting a stone and his head (?) dying, and (?) being killed, his fleeing out of fear, his coming to Midian — he is a distant relative. Shuaib (peace be upon him) gives him his daughter. On condition that he serves him for eight years. In addition, to make it ten years, two more years: if he does them of his own accord, he does; if not, not — so they agree. So meanwhile he marries his daughter. He gives him his daughter. Shuaib (peace be upon him) already realizes that he is a prophet.

When he sets out for Egypt again to see his mother, these (?) come forth. Yet all of this is the original program; when the time comes, Allah Almighty makes it come forth.
