Tafsir
Allah (swt) continues to speak to Hazrat Musa with His Verses. At the same time, He repeats His Verses over and over again, informing Hazrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm' that He is Allah and that there is no other deity besides Him. His asking him to worship His Essence and to pray was to convince the heart of Hazrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm' that it was Allah.
What is said in the video
Taha, the Surah, verse 14: Allah Almighty repeats His word here a second time. What does He say? Truly I, only I, am Allah. That is, there is no god but Me. Believe this, and there is no god but Me. Give ear to Me, serve Me, perform the prayer to remember Me, He says.
Gentlemen, and our sisters listening to me, and our children too, should not abandon their prayers. And those who don't pray should perform their prayers. We are all guests in this world. If we look around us or at ourselves, since nothing comes into being by itself, since every object has a maker, there is also a God who created us. So He did not send us to this world for pleasure and amusement. He sent us to this realm to prove what kind of person we are. So with the decisions we make, by our own will, we do good deeds and sins. Therefore, since we were created faulty and deficient, let us not abandon the prayer.
The first question in the hereafter is about the prayer. If you pray, you have connections for the questions. Connections for the questions. If you don't pray: what everyone earned, today, it says, a due, their due will be given to them in full, it says. Then the questions go on in full. But if you pray, there are connections there. What is it? Today, if a minister were your relative, you would have connections. Right? Now suppose the President is your relative. Suppose he is close to you. You have even better connections. So if you pray, you are close to the Sultan. Because you obeyed Him. You put your forehead down in prostration to the Most Merciful.
That's why you must never abandon your prayers. Keep up your prayer. When getting up for prayer, it says, you surely, it says, feel reluctant. A bit, it says, you feel lazy. But keep at it, it says. Keep at it with patience, it says. Allah Almighty tells us this too. It's this very verse. When getting up for prayer, it says, you feel reluctant. Reluctance comes, it says. But keep at it with patience, it says.
In this respect, your prayers are the treasure of the hereafter for you. Connections, connections. So here too: serve Me. Perform the prayer to remember Me, He says. The prayer. Yes. The prayer has another benefit.
When we stand in Allah Almighty's presence, the noble angel on the left who records sins puts your sins down. He does not bring you before Allah with sins. After the prayer is over, he says: shall I give his sins back again? Allah Almighty says: the minor sins between these two prayers, erase, erase them, and what has been forgiven of My servant I will not load onto him again, He says, I will not give it back, He says. What is forgiven. The minor sins between these two prayers are forgiven. This is one of the virtues of the prayer. Pay attention to this. Yes. Allah Almighty continues to speak to Moses (peace be upon him) with His verses.
At the same time He repeats His verses with emphasis. That is, He strengthens His word. Now what do I say, for example, to Ahmet? I, yes I, am Metin. That is, if you don't know me, when he says 'who are you?', you need to get to know me well. Yes, it's me, I mean. I am Metin. I say, for example, I am Abdulmetin. Well, what are you doing? (?) So he strengthens his words to convince.
Also, Allah Almighty makes known that He is Allah and that no other god exists besides Him; He tells this to Moses (peace be upon him). His asking him to serve Him and to pray is to make the heart of Moses (peace be upon him) believe that the One before him is Allah. Perform the prayer. To whom is the prayer performed? To Allah. Satan doesn't just tell you to pray and have you pray to him like that. What are you saying? You are a prophet. Whom do you believe in anyway? Not in Satan. In whom? You believe in the one God. If you are praying, you are before that one God. So prayer is to Allah. Satan doesn't tell you to pray.
Because when you get up to pray, Satan... the verse says this: To keep you from the prayer, he sends a two-legged one of his own kind, it says. A two-legged one of his own kind. First he says: there is still time, you can pray within the time. If he doesn't succeed in that, he sends a two-legged one of his own kind, it says. If he doesn't succeed in that either, he tries to make you pray hastily in the prayer, it says. Like a rooster, a hen pecking feed from the ground, it says. If he doesn't succeed in that either, he commands you to look right and left. So it turns out Satan does not tell a person to pray.
If He says 'perform the prayer', then here, that there is no god other than Allah and that this is our Lord's word is indeed proven here.
