Surah Ta-Ha, verse twenty: he threw it down at once, and what should he see but a swiftly crawling snake! Moses obeys the command of Allah Almighty at once, throws the staff in his hand to the ground, and suddenly, before his eyes, the staff becomes a snake swiftly crawling on the ground. Then this snake took on a yellow form, then swelled and grew, took on various shapes, and when it took on a long shape, the name Thu'ban was given to this snake, and because it turned into a white snake, the name Jann was given to it.
