(Allah) said: “Take it. Do not be afraid, We will bring it back to its initial form.”
Tafsir
Allah (swt) said, "Do not be afraid of it, but take it in your hand. By mentioning this miracle that Allah (swt) showed to Hazrat Musa (as) in the Holy Qur'an, Allah (swt) informs all people that He is Almighty. It is also a miracle that Allah says, "We will restore it to its former state" and that the scepter that was a snake became a scepter again.
What is said in the video
Surah Ta-Ha, verse 21: Allah said: Take it, do not fear, We will now return it to its former state, it says.
Allah Almighty commanded Moses (peace be upon him): Do not fear it, take it in your hand again. By mentioning in the Holy Quran this miracle He showed Moses (peace be upon him), Allah Almighty makes known to all people that He has power over all things. Moreover, Allah Almighty's saying "We will return it to its former state", and the staff that had become a snake becoming a staff again, is another miracle of His. In this case, if the lifeless staff comes to life and becomes a snake, and the snake falls back into a lifeless state: We give you life twice and cause you to die twice. He causes our bodies to die like this too.
And after that He revives them again, and again in the hereafter He causes them to die again. We give you life twice and cause you to die twice, it says. Yes.
When He says "We cause you to die twice", it is the death of our bodies in the hereafter; upon the souls there is no death. When I say souls are immortal, those of meagre understanding, poor wretches who do not understand the verses, let's call them zindiqs from now on, call us followers of wahdat al-wujud. Yet do you know what wahdat al-wujud is? It is associating partners with Allah, being together with Allah. It is the one who says "I am a part of Allah" and puts himself in the place of a god. May Allah protect us. We are created beings. Only, we are a part from our Lord. If the universal soul is immortal, and the soul in us is our part, if our essence is soul, if soul, nafs and life are one and the bodies separate, if there is no death upon souls, if paradise and hell are eternal and everlasting, upon souls they are everlasting. They are everlasting because they are immortal.
Not the bodies. In this case, by holding the human being, to whom He gave a part of His essence, as addressee of His essence, what does Allah Almighty mean here? Allah Almighty was a hidden treasure, He willed to be known. With whom? He willed it with your essence. That is, when He says: I made your essence a mirror to My essence, when Süleyman Çelebi, in the Mevlid-i Nebi, says of the Prophet: mirat is a mirror, I created you to see My essence in your essence; with a part of His spirit that He gave him, if those souls are immortal, if it is a part from its Lord and Allah Almighty is immortal too, if upon souls they are immortal, (?) paradise and hell are in that case everlasting.
Everlasting. And when Allah Almighty says: We (?) you twice, cause you to die twice, He means our bodies. Why did He send us to the world of mulk? He gave us our outward appearance and gave us a vehicle, the bodies. With all the deeds we do in practice with this vehicle, the desire and (?) that the soul has carried out appear upon the vehicle, and what the vehicle wanted, or rather the soul; the vehicle is not to blame. According to the desire and wish the soul has, Allah Almighty sets causes before that vehicle, He creates them. By using that vehicle as it wishes, through its actual deeds, by means of the cause, the soul takes on sin.
Then He takes the vehicle from it. I will call you to account for the way you used the trust I gave you, He says. He takes this trust, revives it in the hereafter, and silences the mouth of this vehicle, binds its feet, makes its hands speak. When the souls are paired, and it says, "Why do you bear witness against me?", it says: Allah, who makes me speak, makes me speak. And after the testimony is over: You are returned to the One who first created you, it says, and there it tastes death a second time. Soul, nafs and life are one; the bodies are separate. Who said there is death upon souls? Who said that when souls are called everlasting, this is wahdat al-wujud?
That is how the zindiqs understand it. I call them zindiqs. Yes. They call us zindiqs, you see. Because they do not know. Yes. This knowledge is not a knowledge they know.
Yes. Once upon a time I was in Ordu, in Ordu. Hasan Hodja appeared on Boztepe television. A woman from İzmir asks Hasan Hodja a question.
Can you talk about souls? she says. And Hasan Hodja answers. He says, and that man has no sin, it is not the fault of Hasan Hodja.
He says what Hatipoğlu says. It even knows about its cat at home, he says. I picked up the phone. It was open. They were taking calls, so that people could take part. As far as possible, I suppose, the lady in İzmir asked such and such a question. Now they of course said "uh" and so on. You know, somewhat dismissively. To the verse of Allah Almighty, I said, that souls will never come back. After proving it with verses:
Which one, I said, has a soul returned to the world, I said, that it knew about its cat? I said.
In His verse, Allah Almighty says: ask the noble angels who ask how much you did under the earth; according to that verse, they say: send us back once more, see how we will worship You. We would send you not once but several more times, you would do the same deeds, according to the verse. That the souls prove in the world what kind of person they are, and when the body dies and is raised to the barzakh realm, how long it waited there, how long its body waited, the appointed noble angels who keep its count, when He says "ask", that the soul never comes to the world again, and around its own axis whirls, and when revived again, with the bodies is paired and goes into the presence of Allah Almighty; when I explained this, the men were astonished. They say exactly this: A knowledge we don't know, he says.
Darn, he says. We didn't even ask his name, he says. I hung up the phone. And they (?) too. I turned it on; I didn't call again, you see. They say such and such. We didn't even ask his name. Say: the real one, the only one, is Metin Saruhan, who wrote the commentary and translation of the Holy Quran. Say it, he said. Yes. These people do not know this knowledge. How do you know? I am personally a student of my Lord. I was raised spiritually upon the verses. Therefore, to open up the meanings of the verses: knowing Arabic does not mean that by knowing it they will be opened up. That is, if they open them up, they ascribe such attributes to Allah.
Such attributes they ascribe.
So if a translation is to be written, they are obliged to call me. If they truly want to serve the Truth, to serve the religion of Allah, if they want to. I have done my duty as best I could. From here I call out again. We gave our book to the President too. We gave our book to Davutoğlu too. We gave our book to the Council of Ministers too. Just as Moses conveyed the message to Pharaoh, we too conveyed it to the heads it needed to reach. They are obliged to call us. Their knowledge is not enough to write a translation.
Surah Ta-Ha, verse 21: Allah said: Take it, do not fear, We will now return it to its first state, it says. Anyway, these things, the meanings of the verses, we pass over them with one or two words. Allah Almighty commanded Moses (peace be upon him): Do not fear it, take it in your hand again. By mentioning in the Holy Quran this miracle He gave Moses (peace be upon him), Allah Almighty makes known to all people that He has power over all things. Moreover, Allah Almighty's saying "We will return it to its former state", and the staff that had become a snake becoming a staff again, is another miracle of His.
Yes. I am obliged to tell you this as well, because what has been made known to us that way, we are obliged to make known to you. If you do not believe these words of mine, that I am personally a student of my Lord, that my Lord Himself raised me, then before everyone, before the whole world, live, I say: ask me anything. Whether from fiqh, aqida, kalam or hadith, ask whatever you want, I say. If it cannot be answered, I am a liar. If it cannot be answered. Because I was raised upon the verses. Everything you will ask falls within the verses. Because outside the verses, neither in fiqh, nor in aqida, nor in sharia rulings, nor in kalam, is there anything at all.
Yes.
