“And make him a partner in my task.”
Tafsir
As we mentioned in the previous verse, in order not to leave his people alone and to prevent people from deviating from the path of guidance and straying away from the Truth, in some cases when it was necessary to leave his people, he needed a trustworthy person to entrust his people to, so he asked Allah (swt) for his brother Harun (peace be upon him). He wanted Hadrat Harun 'alaihis-salâm' as a partner in his business.
The reason for this is that Hazrat Harun and Hazrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm' used to remember and glorify Allah a lot.
What is said in the video
Surah Ta-Ha, verse 32. And make him a partner in my task, he says. Well, if his task is prophethood, he is saying: give him a prophethood too. What does his saying "make him a partner in my task" mean? Right? A partner. Now, some say that Aaron is not a prophet. Now we, in turn, say that since Aaron is Moses' partner, that is, the one who strengthens his back, and Allah Almighty Himself says, "there, I have given him to you too" (?). Accordingly, it is known that he too is a prophet. As we mentioned in the previous verse, so as not to leave his people alone, and so that people would not stray from the path of guidance and drift away from the truth, since in some situations, when he had to leave his people, a trustworthy person was needed to entrust his people to, from Allah Almighty, his brother Aaron (peace be upon him) is what he asked for.
He asked for Aaron (peace be upon him) as a partner in his task. And the reason for this is so that Aaron and Moses (peace be upon him) would remember Allah abundantly and glorify Him. Now some say that Aaron is not a prophet. He gave him a helper. Moses is the prophet. Because Allah Almighty makes all miracles appear through the prophet. In this case, that is right. Aaron (peace be upon him) has no miracle at all.
His giving him as a partner, as a helper to him, he also partly receives the prophet's (?), partly, that is, it is of course up to Allah Almighty's mercy. Since he is a partner, since he is a supporter, we can accept him as a prophet too. But because he is his helper, he may receive a prophet's reward. That is, whatever reward a prophet receives, whatever rank it is, He keeps him at that level, the righteous servants. He keeps them at that level, a helper after all; whether this one did the work or that one, it makes no difference, but He makes it appear through one of them. Not through both.
I wonder if I can get this part across? Now, with two prophets being together, one of them has to have the quality of leader. In fact, the Prophet says: if two of you set out on a journey, let one of you be the leader, he says. Even if you are only two. Yes. In this case Allah Almighty chose Moses as the leader. is what we are saying. Yes.
