Translation

(Pharaoh) asked; “Who is your Lord, Oh Moses?”

Tafsir

When Hazrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm' told Pharaoh the truth, Pharaoh said to Hazrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm', "Who is your Lord?" In other words, Pharaoh, who declared himself to be a god, insisted to Hazrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm' that there is no other god but himself. In other words, there is no other god other than Pharaoh, and Pharaoh knows no other god but himself. In this respect, he said, who is your Lord?

What is said in the video

Surah Ta-Ha, verse 49. Pharaoh answers like this. "And who is your Lord, O Moses?" he said. Because he had declared himself a god, you see.

So, that there is no other god besides himself, he wants to stress to Moses. "And who is your Lord, O Moses?" he said. In response to Moses (peace be upon him) telling Pharaoh the truth, Pharaoh, addressing Moses (peace be upon him), says "and who is your Lord"; that is, Pharaoh, who declared himself god, that there is no other god besides himself, insistently telling Moses (peace be upon him), he speaks in this way. That is, there is no other god besides Pharaoh, and Pharaoh recognises no god other than himself. For this reason he said "and who is your Lord". Look at the pride and arrogance. Let's say a man sends a messenger to someone.

Well, the messenger goes; the man he was sent to belittles the one who sent that messenger: who is he, what good is he. That is, like this.

May Allah grant all of us a good mind. Because the mind is the greatest blessing and the greatest wealth.

If the mind were not, among these created things, the greatest blessing and the greatest wealth, Allah Almighty would not say: "Because you did not use the mind I gave you, I will call you to account." Look, He does not say: I will call you to account for the worldly blessings I gave you. He says that too, of course, except for those who give thanks. But: I will call you to account for not using your mind. Do you not reflect, do you never think? To whom does He say this?

To non-Muslims. Why to non-Muslims? A Muslim, even if he never used his mind, has found Allah. Yes, he has found Allah. What was the goal anyway? It was to find Allah. But the non-Muslim possesses the ability to reason by comparison. Lacks it. He does not use his mind. Even if he uses it, because with the feelings of the nafs, out of pride and arrogance, he rebels against Allah, Allah Almighty calls them lying disbelievers. Liars. Where? At the address "Elestü bi-Rabbiküm", when Allah Almighty said "I am your Lord", since no other god besides Allah came forth, these, waiting for the Lord of their own imaginings, (?) Allah against Allah, their own creations, that is, denied Allah who creates.

For this reason Allah Almighty addresses them as lying disbelievers. Yes.
