Translation

Allah is the One Who has made the land like a cradle, Who has made ways in it for you and Who has sent down water from the sky. We have brought forth, pairs from different plants with it.

Tafsir

Allah (swt) compares the earth to a cradle; He states that the earth rotates and people reside on it, so it is a mattress. It also informs us that just as a newborn child in a cradle is dependent on its parents, human beings are dependent on Allah (swt) and cannot survive without Him.

In the verse that opens paths in the earth, it is the One who gives people their sustenance and shows them many ways to get their sustenance and opens many doors of sustenance to people within these ways.

When He sends down water from the sky, He speaks of rain. That water gives life to the earth. He also informs us that in order for human beings and the creatures they have created to receive their sustenance on earth, He has created every plant or living creature in pairs, and through their reproduction, He has formed the food sources of living creatures on earth with water.

That is, by mentioning the attributes of Godhood, Allah (swt) declares that there is no other god but Allah (swt) and that He is the absolute owner of His creatures and the provider of their sustenance.

What is said in the video

Ta-Ha Surah, verse 53 — we have come to it. "He who made the earth a cradle for you" — what is a cradle? The place where we lie, where we are, that is. We grow up there in a cradle, don't we? "Made a cradle" — a cradle has many meanings too. A cradle keeps rocking, doesn't it? Or a swing swings. So, that the world too is in a void, and that in this void He made the world a cradle for you, giving it as a bed or a place of sustenance. "He who made the earth a cradle for you, opened paths in it for you, and sends down water from the sky. With it We brought forth pairs of various plants," He says. From various (?), from plants, We brought forth pairs.

Truly, you see the trees blossom, and birds, bees, winds pollinate them. Right? All of them, so that they reproduce their kind, Allah Almighty, into His creatures that will do their duties, has worked this in. Yes. Allah Almighty likening the earth to a cradle is His making known that our world turns, that the people on it (?), and that therefore it is a bed. Also, just as a newborn child in a cradle needs its mother and father, people too need Allah Almighty and cannot find life without Him — this He makes known. As for the verse "opened paths on the earth," it means that He, who gives people their sustenance, so that people can obtain their sustenance, shows them many paths, and within these paths opens many doors of sustenance to people.

Sending down water from the sky refers to rain. It makes known that water gives life to the earth. Also, so that people and the creatures He created can obtain their sustenance on earth, He created every kind of plant or living being in pairs, and through their reproduction formed with water the food sources of the living beings on earth — this He makes known. That is, Allah Almighty, speaking of His divine attributes, makes known that there is not even any other god besides Allah, and that, as the absolute owner of His creatures, He is the one who provides their sustenance.
