Eat and let your cattle graze. Verily, in this, there are signs for those who use their intellect.
Tafsir
Allah (swt) is addressing those who have intellect to inform them that there is no other God but Him. Since He has given each human being an intellect that knows His Essence, He addresses all human beings whom He has created and to whom He has addressed His Essence.
Eat and drink of what Allah has created, and do not forget that this sustenance is from the power of Allah. But for those who have intelligence there are signs of Allah's power; some of the people contemplate the created beings. They realize that this order and harmony could not have come into existence spontaneously, and that all these creatures were created with a great knowledge, and that every living creature performs its duties completely, and that Allah has power over His creatures and dominates them. In the face of the greatness and majesty of Allah, they realize that there is no other way out but to surrender to Him, and they surrender to Allah.
For those who use their intellect in the face of these events, those who perceive these signs about the unity and oneness of Allah, they realize the existence of Allah within themselves as if they can see Him clearly, and they continue their duty of servitude to Allah.
What is said in the video
Surah Ta-Ha, verse 54 — in this verse, how beautifully Allah Almighty speaks.
"I created these creations of Mine for you; eat, drink.
Eat and graze your livestock; surely in this, for people of reason, there are signs of Allah's power," He says.
I created nothing. I didn't make it either. If I didn't make it, people didn't make it either. I have a cow, I have a goat, I have a sheep, I have a chicken, there are ducks, there are geese. He placed them at man's command — eat their eggs, so to speak. "You may not be able to feed them; I will provide their food too," He says. He created the grass; "graze the animals," He says here. Go on then, take their milk, make your cheese and butter. Now think: who gives you this like this? Today, who gives anything to anyone? But Allah has laid out the world in the universe at people's command and made people the vicegerents of the earth.
Vicegerent. So Allah Almighty, to make known that there is no other god besides Him, calls out to people of reason. Since He gave in every person a mind that knows Him, since He gave every person a mind that knows Him, to all the people He created and holds as His addressees He calls out. Eat and drink of what Allah has created; this nourishment of yours is from Allah's power — do not forget that. If He hadn't created the cow today, hadn't created the sheep, the goat, where would we have found meat? If He hadn't created the camel, for instance, hadn't put these at our command. We benefit from their meat.
If He hadn't created grass, where would we have found feed for these animals?
It would have been hard for us to (?), that is. Well, if despite creating these He puts them at our command, do we never think about it? While one person gives nothing to another, Allah, in this world of ours we call nature, for people to benefit from, to eat, to drink, has placed all His creatures. Besides, beyond their needs, beneath the ground its oil, its water, its minerals, every kind of mineral He has placed, He has put (?), He has put its ornaments. Come on then, step up. Will you be thankful to the One who gave these? Or will you incline to My creations and turn your backs on Me?
A test. Step up.
Eat and drink of what Allah has created; this nourishment of yours is from Allah's power — do not forget that. "But for people of reason there are signs of Allah's power." When He says this, some people reflect on created beings. That this order and harmony could not come about by itself, and that all these created things, being created with great knowledge, every created living being carries out its duties flawlessly; Allah's power over His creations and His dominion over them — this they comprehend. Understanding that before the greatness and majesty of Allah Almighty there is no other way out than submitting to Him, they submit to Allah.
So those who use their reason in the face of these events, and about Allah's oneness and unity sense these signs, within their own being perceive Allah's existence as if seeing it openly, and their duty of servanthood to Allah they continue.
