Translation

Then, Pharaoh turned and went away. He brought together his plot (his sorcerers) and came back.

Tafsir

When he saw that the day of the meeting of Hadrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm' was suitable, Pharaoh went backwards. His aim was to gather the most skillful magicians in his homeland, to frighten Hadrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm', to outwit him and to make people believe that he was a god in the eyes of the people.

So he gathered the most skillful magicians in his country and came back with his magicians on the most crowded day when people gathered.

What is said in the video

Verse 60 of Surah Ta-Ha: thereupon Pharaoh turned away, his trickery, the magicians' trickery, he gathered his magicians, then he came back. Pharaoh, who agreed to the meeting day Moses (peace be upon him) proposed, went back; his aim, so that through the trickery he would make people know him as a god,

was to gather the most skilled magicians in his land and, by frightening Moses (peace be upon him), to overcome him and, before the people, before the eyes of the people, to make them believe that he was God. Yes. So in verse 60 it is like this. Thereupon Pharaoh turned away. That is, when Moses said, let us gather in the forenoon on the festival day, thereupon Pharaoh turned away. He gathered his magicians to prepare trickery. Then he came back. And indeed so he did. He gathered the most (?) magicians in his land. And on the most crowded day, when people gathered, he came back with his magicians.

Now the verses are very clear. There is no need for me to explain them one after another. The verses will explain it themselves now. We will just sum them up a bit. Otherwise the verses are very clear (?). What does it say? Moses said to them: woe to you. To whom? Be it the magicians, sir, be it Pharaoh, be it his henchmen. Woe to you, he said. Do not invent lies about Allah. Then He will uproot you with a punishment. Whoever fabricates lies surely comes to ruin. Yes. Whoever fabricates lies, ruin will not let go of his collar in this world and in the hereafter. When Moses (peace be upon him), on a day when people had gathered, saw that this community did not believe in Allah but believed in Pharaoh, and at the same time, faced with Pharaoh and Pharaoh's dynasty knowingly denying Allah, unable to bear it, addressing them
