Then, they discussed their plan among themselves. They whispered secretly.

Tafsir

In response to these warnings of Hadrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm', the magicians talked and whispered among themselves secretly. The purpose of their talking in this way was so that Hadrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm' would not hear their conversation and the magic and evil that the magicians would do would not be known to Hadrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm'.

But what the magicians and the house of Pharaoh did not know was that Allah knows what is spoken secretly and what is spoken openly, and He knows the secret of the secret. Because Allah has written people's destinies according to their wills, and He is the One who knows what people will do and talk about when and where within these destinies.

Surah Ta-Ha, verse 62. Thereupon they discussed their situation among themselves and whispered secretly. Who? Pharaoh and his family. And let us say the sorcerers too were among those who whispered. In the face of these warnings of Moses (peace be upon him), the sorcerers secretly among themselves talked and whispered. The aim of talking this way was that Moses (peace be upon him) would not hear their talk, and that the evil trick and sorcery the sorcerers would perform would not be known by Moses (peace be upon him). But there was something the sorcerers and Pharaoh's dynasty did not know. That Allah knows their secret talk and their open talk, and even the most hidden of the hidden.

For in proportion to people's wishes, Allah has written their destinies. Within these destinies He is the One who knows when and from where people will do what, and what they will say. He is the One who knows the secrets of the hearts. Yes.
