We Said (to him): “Do not fear! You are certainly superior!”
Tafsir
When Hazrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm' saw the magic of Pharaoh's magicians and saw the ropes and sticks in the hands of the magicians running towards him, a fear fell upon him.
Thereupon Allah (swt) calmed Hazrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm' and removed the fear from him by revelation, saying, "Do not be afraid! Surely you are the one who will prevail, and that is what gave Hazrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm' confidence in himself. Because his Lord is with Hadrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm'. Whoever is with Allah, his back will never fall. Allah has absolute power in the universe.
What is said in the video
Surah Ta-Ha, 68th verse. Now Allah Almighty says to Moses in verse 68: "We said: Do not fear, the one who will prevail is surely you." Through the magic performed by Pharaoh's magicians, seeing the ropes and sticks in the magicians' hands running toward him, fear falls into the heart of Moses (peace be upon him). Thereupon, to calm Moses (peace be upon him) and to remove the fear within him, Allah Almighty said to Moses (peace be upon him) by revelation: "Do not fear. Surely you are the one who will prevail," and with these words Moses (peace be upon him) gained confidence. Because his Lord is with Moses (peace be upon him).
Whoever is with Allah is never brought down. Allah has absolute power in the universe. At the same time, by saying "Do not fear, you will prevail," to remove Moses' fear, to instil a sense of closeness in Moses and calm him, Allah Almighty, so that He would turn him toward Himself, so that he would come to himself, says His verse so beautifully: "Do not fear," He said, "the one who will prevail is surely you." Yes.
