Tafsir
When Allah (swt) said to Moses, "Throw down what is in your right hand," He meant the staff in Moses' hand, and He said, "Put it down and it will swallow the sorcerer's spell.
What the sorcerers do is a trick of evil. (The truth has come and the falsehood has disappeared) According to the verse, the falsehood will surely disappear with the truth.
Hazrat Musa 'alaihis-salâm' throws his staff on the ground as Allah (swt) had instructed him to do. Then, with God's permission, the staff takes the form of a beast and swallows the spells cast by the sorcerers.
As long as the sorcerers disbelieve in Allah and remain in disbelief, they will not prosper by their magic. In the worldly realm, they are in a narrowness and distress. They cannot find peace because their trickery is evil. In this state they are unbelievers.
